1 The Gifted Girl

In a land far away from the city, in a rural human village in the South, a young girl whose face is so ordinary can be seen tending to the horses. Her name was Finnia. She arrived at this time and age two months ago and has been starting to acclimate to this new environment. Being able to interact with actual humans allows her system to gather loads of information about the behavior of the people in this generation. She was with Enryl, a human boy, who teaches her how to tend to the animals on this particular farm.

"Wow! Finnia, you really are amazing!" exclaimed by Enryl.

He was really fascinated with this young girl as she seems to learn things far too quickly that it borders to impossibility. For the past few days, he taught her how to tend to chickens, ducks, sheep, and now the horse but it seems that no matter what it is, she seems to master it perfectly within one to two tries.

"It's really nothing. You really are a good teacher. I've learned a lot and it was fascinating", Finnia replied.

"Are you sure you really haven't done these things before?" Enryl asked again. He's been thinking that maybe Finnia already knows these things before and just pretending she just learned it the first time.

"Yes, that's for sure. I've only seen these creatures from our Magne Archive before but haven't really played with them", she replied.

"Creatures? Magne Archive?" Enryl confusingly asked. "Who actually call animals as "creatures"? And what is a Magne Archive? Maybe she came from a place with a weird culture and the world is large so I can't possibly know every place out there. Maybe it actually exists?" Enryl thought and reasoned out to himself.

"Oh, sorry. I meant animals, I think that's what you call them. Magne Archive is what I call my computer back home" she replied. She decided not to divulge more information about the Magne Archive. It saves her time to explain and he won't understand even if she tries to.

"Ah, okay. Anyway, I'm sorry but there's nothing more I can teach you. This is just a small village, these are the only things we do here every day." he replied. He secretly lamented that he runs out of excuses to be with this interesting girl. Even though she looks so ordinary she seems to have an extraordinary brain.

At this time, it is already getting late. So they've decided to clean themselves so that they can get back home. And Enryl's grandmother, Grandma Anne called them both to invite them to dinner as she lovingly prepared a delicious meal.

"Young girl, we were running out of supplies and so we need to buy some groceries in the nearby market, would you be able to accompany my grandson tomorrow?" Grandma Anne asked Finnia while they were eating. She really fancies this young girl who came from nowhere and it would be nice if they have another companion in everyday life. She loves her grandson Enryu and it seems that he really started to get serious in tending their farm animals ever since Finnia arrived.

"Sure, grandma, it will be no problem" Finnia quickly replied. It's time for her to see more things in this village. Meeting more people will provide more information on her core.

As she went back to her room, she closed her eyes and delved into her mind world. Her main core is still busy in processing her thought-code from days ago. She decided to create a consciousness that can be her companion in this new world. It can really be lonely being the only android. At least with this new system, she was able to brainstorm and talk with someone else. Even though at the start it will have the same thought like her, it will eventually develop its personality as time goes by. She actually set some of the settings to random so that there can be some kind of a surprise.

"It seems that the New System will be ready in 48 hours. In the meantime, it seems that I have recovered 1% of my Silka energy. Not bad at all. But what exactly happened when Elder Emih activated the time-travel pod that time? And who is that man?" Finnia deeply thought.

Two months ago, when she was about to be engulfed by the blue-green light of the time-travel pod, another Elder with a hood appeared behind Elder Emih and that man activated a black sphere which released a dark-green light at the same time that Elder Emih activated the pod. The timing is so precise that there's no way to stop the merge of the two lights and this destabilized the power of the pod.

"Finnia! Quickly activate your Silka shield! There's..... some.. th...ing..... wr..o" shouted Elder Emih as he tries to warn her.
