7 First encounter with Unconditional Love

The Silka core started to emanate a faint gold glow and Finnia can feel an unknown power filling her entire being. She had never felt something incredible like this before. Since Enryl was still looking at her eyes, she noticed that there's an intense blinding light pouring from Enryl's head (crown chakra) that fills his energy pathways down to the base of his spine (root chakra) and just the energy being radiated from this phenomenon cause the Silka core to have some reaction.

The core continues to absorb the emitting energy until finally it subsided and the gold glow disappeared as well. During those moments, she felt something. Something previously unknown to her. It left her with an indescribable feeling of warmth within.

"Is this what emotion is?" she silently muttered while trying to remember how it felt like.

"According to the Magne Archive, emotion has ranges. From low to high, it will be depression, anger, frustration, hope, belief up to the state of appreciation, love, and happiness. Since the feeling is quite pleasurable, it is likely around on the high range of the scale. If my conjecture is correct, it will likely be the feeling of love and happiness?" Finnia is feeling lost. She knows she actually had a real encounter with a thing called emotion. It can't even be compared to the programmed simple emotion that was usually incorporated into their core so that their facial muscles and gestures can emulate a living human.

"Am I actually the first-ever android to experience a real emotion?" She continued to contemplate. Back on her own time, all androids are connected to the online version of Magne Archive and each of their experiences are recorded. Doing some quick search on her offline version of the Archive, nobody experienced something like this before.

"I feel a lot better than before. Better in a lot of aspects. What actually changed?" she then brought up her system to look at her status and was stunned.

"So, I actually recovered 4% of my Silka energy?" she felt it was quite unbelievable. She now has a total of five percent. If you compare her now to her previous self a few minutes ago, she's actually five times stronger in all aspects.

"So the Silka core can absorb energy from an emotion? No, no, it is more accurate to say that the emotion should be of high-energy like love or happiness. Because I've encountered many kinds of humans showing a number of emotions before but there's no such reaction." This is a new discovery and a good one at that. The sooner she can recover her Silka energy, that sooner she can recover her full strength.

Everything she thought all happened within a single second so Enryl was still looking at her eyes at this moment.

"It's no problem. Glad to be of help." as she said this, she felt light, good and happy. A sincere smile naturally formed on her face.

Little did she know that this moment will be forever etched to the history of androids and robots alike. It's the first time that an android actually showed real emotion. Not fake. Not manufactured. Not programmed. A real emotion.

Big Sister Ashana also thanked her and sat to the other side of the bed. She was about to clean up some small bits of medicine at the side of Chiena's lips when she noticed that the girl's eyelids twitched for a bit and then finally albeit slowly opened its eyes.

"How are you feeling?" she asked while she caresses her little forehead. She was really glad that her little girl finally regained consciousness. She heaved a sigh of relief. She felt lighter as if a mountain that weighs down her shoulders was finally gone.

"Aunty... " The little girl clumsily hold her Aunty's hand while squeezing it very lightly then continued, "I felt better than ever before. I also have a weird dream."

Then Chiena felt something wonderful. It felt like every part of her small body is brimming with energy. And this is because unbeknown to her, the nanites just completed its repair. This allows a smooth flow of energy and life force to every cell on her body. It's like being reborn into a new body. For a human, this is a great fortune.

She became aware of the two other people besides her and she turned to look at them. When she saw her uncle Enryl, she almost jumped due to extreme happiness. "Uncleeee! I missed you!". Enryl hugged her gently while patting her head and replied with a smile, "I missed you too, little Chiena! It's a good thing you're back".

After she calmed down a bit, she then looked at the person beside Enryl. As soon she saw the person's face, she was dumbstruck.
