10 The Mermaid Princess

"ZHEN MEEEI!!!!". A loud wail of a young lady woke up some of the slumbering bodies in the Crystal Palace. "XIA NI! CALM DOWN!", Ah He screamed at her friend who seems to no longer hear her. "CALM DOWN!? CALM DOWN!? THE F... WE JUST SENT HER TO HER DEATH!!! THE F... CAN I CALM DOWN!", Xia Ni angrily replied. "Calm down. There is still hope Xia Ni", An Kun still in a daze from the spell calmly replied and took out a red crystal flower medallion. "The fact that this did not crumble means she is still alive", he added. After hearing An Kun's words, Xia Ni broke into tears and was hugged by Ah He.

"Our mother is still alive." A young boy and girl entered the room. "Yin and Fei!", Ah He exclaimed. "She told us to stay, wait and protect", the young boy said. "But we don't want to listen anymore", the young girl added. Yin and Fei ran and jumped out of the window. The young boy turned into a dragon, while the young girl turned into a phoenix, and together they flew into the sky. "WAIT! YOU LITTLE!", Xia Ni screamed. "Stop it. It's useless. Those two do not listen to anyone other than my sister. Probably, they went to find her". "Go and follow them little sparrow". Ai Bao still half-conscious summoned a bird to follow the two children. An Kun hugged and carried his pregnant wife. "Elder brother, I know you are awake. Please think about what happened and repent. After taking back Ai Bao to rest, expect that everything will be reported to mother". "How benevolent of you not to report directly to grandfather", Fan Fan sneered. "As much as I want to have you punished, I still want to believe that family is the most important, and besides I do not want to lose another member of our family in this capital", An-Kun answered. "You're gonna regret your decision, little brother", Fan Fan mockingly replied. "But not as much as you do now elder brother. Now, please excuse us". An Kun left with his wife and men while his elder brother stayed lying on the floor with disappointment and tears flowing from his eyes.

"Stop crying Xia Ni! Do you want the waters to go turbulent!? Be responsible for your ability!", Ah He scolded her non stop crying friend. "Then what do we do!? True! She may still be alive but what if they are already plucking out her nails one by one or maybe shaving her head", the crying girl stated. "There are far more worst ways of torturing her such as slowly slicing her neck and so on", Ah He blatantly replied which made Xia Ni cry harder. "That's why go back to your city and concentrate inside the Grotto so that you can sense her presence and locate her if she uses her magic near to the water", Ah He scolded. Xia Ni immediately ran into the waterfall, jumped and disappeared into the water. Ah He let out a long sigh and fell into her knees. She started to tremble and tears started to fall from her eyes. "I really do feel like murdering you now, elder brother but that will only make Zhen Mei hate me. I hope you learned your lesson well. Farewell!". In a second, a magic seal appeared, and Ah He disappeared.

A few minutes later, a beautiful couple with men arrived. "Fanfan! Fanfan", a middle-aged woman continued to call. "Mother!", Fanfan answered and ran to the direction of his mother. Before he could hug his mother, the middle-aged man suddenly punched his face. "HUSBAND! Please! STOP!", the middle-aged woman screamed. "I hope you learned well from this", the elderly man said. "Father I am terribly sorry", Fanfan replied while crying and kneeling in front of his father. The man knelt and hugged his weeping son and said "Glad to see you alive, son". Hearing his father's words, Fanfan wept harder.

Late in the afternoon, in a ship dock, a group of common folks and some medics tried to resuscitate some rescued people. "The sea was calm but in a second, it suddenly got turbulent!", a surviving sailor narrated. "Maybe.., No! It must be! The mermaid princess got upset!", one of the sailors exclaimed. In a certain part of the sea, near to where the rumored Mermaid's Grotto appears, three ships sunk in the daylight.
