30 Special chapter

Hey! Have you wondered what would have happened if something was changed in the story? Like if the characters just said what they were thinking instead of thinking to themselves and making wild guesses. Well, I don't really care if you have or not, but I do! So, I'll randomly show what would happen at a certain point of the story if things were said differently. In this chapter, I will do part of chapter 29.

"Now how do you want me to help?"

"Help? what help? I don't need..Oh! I'd forgotten that you owe me a favor! Thanks for reminding! You're so honest!" ..unlike me. If I were you, I'd definitely act blur and pray that you forget!

"..Is that a compliment? Why do I not feel good about this compliment?"

"Heh, I wonder why too.."

But hmm a favor..what should I ask for?

Hmm what did I wanted badly? Let's see.. according to previous chapters, I need to change my seat as soon as possible! Ah but I don't really want to...but I have to stop myself from getting hurt from this damn curse!

Ugh who cares? I'll just find someone better hmph

That was just a reason Lyn used to convince herself. To be honest, Devon is already a rare type of guy that have it all - looks, wealth, personality, a cute dog.. basically you get what you wished for, and a whole package at that!

"Please help me..I need to change my seat" After a long while, Lyn finally chose this as her favor.

"Change your seat? why?" Devon questioned

"I..don't wanna tell you the reason.." Lyn said boldly. If not for the fact that this is a special chapter that won't change the main storyline, Lyn would never have the guts so say that.

"You-!" Devon was speechless.

He was dying of curiosity yet he had no right to ask. Calming down, he said "Fine then, I'll ask you another question. If you answer is 'yes' to this question, I'll help you."

"Oh that's simple! Bring it on!" Lyn was already prepared to say 'yes' to anything but then she recalled...

"Will you marry me?"

"Yes!"

Surely not..He won't ask this right??

From Lyn's perspective, Devon seemed to be mouthing out a word starting with the letter 'W'.

"WAIT!!!"

"what?!" Devon was annoyed. No sooner did he opened his mouth did he shut it - due to this Lyn! Don't she know that she shouldn't interrupt someone when they're speaking? How rude!

"You can ask any questions, except for this one question. You can't ask me to marry you!"

"Pfft what! Hahahaha what a joke! You think too highly of yourself. I'd rather marry my dog than marry you!"

"That's good to know! Hurry continue what you wanna ask!"

yaya, says the one who interrupted me! Devon scoffed.

"So as I was saying before someone who thought too highly of herself interrupted me, do you dislike- no, do you hate sitting with me that's why you wanna change your seats?" Devon emphasised on the word 'hate' more slowly and loudly than the rest of the words.

"What? No! How can I possibly say yes to this?!"

"Then why?"

"Because I liked you too much that I'm scared we'd grow closer again and you'd be cursed by my curse again, end up forgetting about me again, hurting myself again.

Because I'm afraid of getting hurt again and again

Because of my damn curse, I'd rather forget about you and heal my wounds than fall deeper with you and hurt myself more.

All these reasons..I really want you to know but how would you know?

How would you understand the feeling of being looked at as if you're my whole world one day, then being looked at as if you didn't exist after that day if you hadn't been through what I've did? So Devon, please help me change my seats. Even if you don't do it for us, don't do it for me, at least do it for yourself. You're popular with people. You could find a funnier partner or whatever that matches your type instead of being bored to tears with me."

"Geez! Did you think you're in some K-drama or something? Life is full wonderful things! Must you destroy every wonderful things into something depressing? Besides, you only live once, yes? So just live to the fullest!"

"Aish you don't understand wan! You're not me how would you understand?"

"Indeed I don't, but I'd never go back on my promise."

"Huh what promise?"

"How could you forget?! That time we played truth and dare, you cried so badly you even made me promise you to never forget you no matter what"

"Yo-you remembered? I thought you.."

"Indeed I don't"

"Huh then why..????" Lyn grew more and more confused. Maybe its time to get a hearing test, Lyn thought. Whatever I hear doesn't seem to make sense!

"Because of the damn promise, that day I went back home and wrote a diary about you, in case I forget about you. Hah I even put a heart next to your name in my phone! Aren't you touched?"

"Hey you just ruined the moment! I would be if you didn't say that.."Lyn blushed anyways.

"So since you didn't say yes to my question, I won't help you with your favor."

"Yes! Thankfully you made that condition, or I would've regretted my decision!"

"So you don't hate me?"

"No! In fact, I..like you a lot.."

"what did you just say? Say that again!"

"N-no way! Too bad if you didn't hear it"
