14 Ch 13 – More Questing
"BRAVO BRAVO!" I shouted as I felt the soul of the blond-haired idiot entering my body and felt my own soul getting stronger along with two new powers.
"Bang!" I shouted while pointing my finger at the wall and felt weird how the air was sucked in towards the hole that opened at the tip of my index finger and felt the bones, flesh, and mwith the strength.
I then look at the brown-haired idiot and revived him without a second thought and instantly killed him once life went back to his lifeless eyes and felt my soul getting stronger once more along with a new Gift.
Like flicking a switch, I watch my hand becoming durable like steel and my fingers becoming as sharp as a sword and scratch the cement ground to test out how strong it was and with relative ease, I made deep dents on the ground and nodded in appreciation.
"Mmm," I muttered and transformed back into Sasaki Akira, the name I have given towards the girl I killed yesterday.
"Humm" I hummed on my way out of the dark alley and looked around the crowded street as if I didn't just kill two people a few seconds ago.
Hmm, I'm craving for dinner right now.
And as I thought of dinner, I felt my stomach rumbling in response and chuckled so I went to walked around the street and saw a Wacdonalds and decided to just go buy there while looking at the cash I got from the two idiots I killed.
As I entered the Wacdonalds with a slight hop to each of my steps, I saw the door opening on its own and was greeted by the sight of a very clean and pristine Wacdonalds building with tons of vacant seats and happy employees that shows how developed this world right now is.
As I looked around the room with a smile, I walked towards the counter and because it was already late at night, nobody was luckily in line with me being the only one currently ordering some food.
"Hello miss, may I get your order?" asked the kind lady at the counter who has horns on her head.
"I would like some Fish Fillet Burger and some Coka Cohla," I said while pointing at the order I said and remembered how hated the Fish Fillet Burger was a century ago, but now it was one of the most beloved orders inside Wacdonalds.
"Would that be all miss?" said the lady as I nodded in response.
"Please wait a few seconds miss," said the lady as she went towards a door where she can get the order and without even 20 seconds, she went back holding my order and put it on top of the counter.
"That would be 2 dollars, miss," said the lady as I take out some cash from my pocket and gave it to the kind lady.
"Thank you," said the lady as she took my money while I took the order from the counter and walked out the building while munching on the Fish Fillet Burger and some Coka Cohla.
"Mmm," I said while munching on the Fillet Fish Burger while watching the snowflakes drop around me and just felt the whole world look so much… happier!
"Hehe" I chuckled while walking around the city and looked around for more stuff to explore until my food was fully eaten and decided to go home.
"That was a nice day" I muttered under my breath and started to walk home and after a few minutes, I finally arrived in front of the large walls where my house resides and transformed back into my real form.
[Body scan commencing] uttered a voice from the gate as a flash of blue light enveloped my body and felt a prickling feeling all around my body but I already got used to it over the years and after a while, the voice appeared again.
[Welcome back mister Tanaka Akihiko] said the voice along with the gate opening on its own.
"Mmm," I nodded and walked inside the gate and walked towards my house and opened the door to see a dark house, indicating that my parents still aren't back home.
"Yawn, it's time to play for the rest of the night" I muttered and walked towards my own room.
"Lights on," I said towards the air as the lights inside my room turned on with my voice command alone and walked towards the IVR pod near my bed and opened the hatch, entered inside, and plop my body down in a comfortable position.
And as I close my eyes, the moment I opened them I was greeted with the dark void along with Ai's white humanoid figure standing in front of me.
[Welcome back user NoNameDeity] said Ai towards me with its white humanoid body.
"Mmm, launch New World," I said towards Ai as like before, a spiral of white squares soon surrounded me and before I knew it, I appeared back in the world of New World where I log off and looked around to see that it was now morning in the game.
Okay, I should raise my stats to D and go towards the center of the continent where most top players reside and explore the continent along the way, it should take me a few days till I reached there on foot so a mount should be a priority right now, the Charm Skill or Tame Animal would be useful but I have my charisma so it should be possible to charm a mount for myself.
So I should level up my stats and skills to E and get an E rank mount for myself, hopefully, a flying one but a wild boar should be enough.
With the plan set, I went towards the Adventurer's Guild to get more hunting quests to get some money and up my rank at the same time to hit many birds with one stone.
"Hmm" I hummed under my breath while looking at the quest notice to find a decent quest that could net me some money and experience and found a certain quest.
[Quest: Me and my family are about to celebrate my son's birthday and we want to have some Wild Boar meat but no one seems to be selling right now, so if you can bring me a full dead Wild Boar, I will give you the following rewards]
[Rewards: 10 Silver]
"Hmm, Wild Boar's about 5 Silver so that is double the price, and I don't even need to carve the pelt, meat, and bones out so that should be easy" I muttered under my breath and decided to choose that quest and went towards the receptionist.
"Oh, an E rank quest? Are you sure you could handle it?" said the lady in surprise.
"Yes, I think I could hunt a wild boar," I said.
"If you say so, just remember to run away if you can't handle the threat," said the lady as I signed my name on the quest notice and put it inside my pocket.
"Have fun adventuring!" said the lady while I walked out of the field and towards the nameless field out of the nameless Starter Town and started to look for some E rank Wild Boar which is quite common around the area, appearing a few times per hour.
(A Few Minutes Later)
"Light Arrow!" I shouted while firing off a Light Arrow towards another Horned Rabbit, an F rank monster and saw its body limping down on the ground and looked around my sack full of Horned Rabbits and this time, it was cleaner with a lack of blood as I healed off the wound so that it doesn't spew out blood while inside my sack.
"Finally, enough exp to level up Energy" I muttered under my breath and opened my status.

"Phew, finally, I should also be able to level up Light Arrow soon with enough usage" I muttered and wiped off my sweat and walked towards the dead horned rabbit and healed off its wounds, and put it inside my sack.
"Now where are those Wild Boars? I've been looking around for almost an hour now" I muttered under my breath until I heard shouts in the distance and hastily rushed over there to see another player hunting a Wild Boar and was given two choices, to kill or heal.
"Heal" I muttered as I waited for the player to be almost defeated and steal the kill and gain some juicy exp by also healing him.
"Hah!" shouted the adventurer as his sword glowed blue and swung a blade of energy towards the boar who just tanked it through and rushed towards him as his eyes dilated in fear, but as he was about to die, he heard a shout that seems to come from the heavens itself.
"Light Arrow!" I shouted as an arrow of light went to enter the boar's eyes, killing it in an instant and stopping just in front of the frightened player.
"You okay," I said while rushing over towards him and healing him in an instant and watched the exp come rolling in.
"Y- yeah, I almost died back there," said the player as he heaves a breath of relief.
"You mind if I take the boar? I need it for a quest" I said towards him.
"Sure, whew, I really need to relax right now," said the player as he disappeared from my hands, logging off without any warning.
"Nice" I muttered under my breath while looking at the dead boar beside me.
