2 Ch 1 - Aki

Inside a dark decrepit room with white walls and white tiles, one person was seen lying down in a relatively large bed.

The person was seen having unkempt black hair, fair white skin, and a relatively short figure, with bags under their eyes, which makes them look like a sleep deprived teen.

"Sigh" said the person as he stood up with a grunt and turned on the light switch, and as light filled the white room, the figure of the person was finally fully seen.

Wearing a white shirt along with black pants that hide most of the person's figure, but with the occasional movement, thin arms and legs were seen that shows how weak the person is physically, as if he has a chronic disease of sorts.

"Yawn, I can't believe time flies by so fast, it's already summer break and I'll enter high school in just a couple of months" muttered the person as he stretches his body around and opened the door on his room and headed outside his room.

He was greeted with a relatively picturesque room that shows that the family the person is in is quite rich as he yawned and walk over the ground until he reached a flight of stairs and walked down while putting his head along the railing.

He was greeted with a large living room when he reached downstairs with a very luxurious atmosphere while he walks over to the kitchen near the living room while walking past luxurious furniture and lights.

Soon, he reached the kitchen to see his mother already cooking inside it as he greeted her.

"Good morning mom" said the person as he walks over to a counter and took a cup and went to the sink as his cup was filled with water to the brim.

"Good morning, Aki" said Aki's mother as he drank the cup of water and look to see what she was cooking.

"So, you guys will go out today for more than a day?" asked Aki as he started to walk away.

"Mmm, are you sure you don't want to come with us?" asked the mother.

"Well, you know, I'm not that physically well off" said Aki as his mother sighed.

"How did you even become like that? Is it because of your Gift? Didn't you say that you felt weak when you healed us a few years ago? We shouldn't have tested your Gift when you awakened it" said the mother in a regretful tone.

"Don't worry about it, at least I don't need to do work in the future when we're quite well off" said Aki as his mother chuckled.

"Mmm, well go enjoy your alone time, remember to be careful and not accidentally burn down the house when we're away" said the mother as he nodded and went back upstairs and into his room.

"Ugh, why am I so goddamn weak, is it a genetic disease? But even my parents don't know what's wrong and they're great doctors admired by many. Sigh, born with the Gift to heal but too traumatized to use it on others, oh how ironic is this!" muttered Aki as he picks up a pair of glasses from his table and put them on his face and muttered.

"Open" muttered Aki as a flash of white light appeared from the glasses that envelop his whole face as a robotic female voice was heard directly on his ear.

As soon as those words were uttered, his whole vision changed as his room was still the same but now there are floating screens in front of his face.

"Yawn, open Metube" said Aki as he lay down on his bed while a new screen popped up in the air in front of him that shows the iconic red logo of Metube.

Metube, before the era of Gifts, it was one of the most overbearing companies that was quite personally stupid according to Aki's views.

Deleting the dislike button, minimalizing the interaction between creators and viewers, and just generally stupid stuff and instead of focusing on its users, it instead focused on the companies that will have a chance to make the users just quit altogether.

But now its one of the most beloved and used entertainment website in the whole world with more than 60% of the whole human race having and using the app, along with the biggest streaming platform Twatch that have the same redemption arc as Metube and some rumors were even spreading around that the two companies plan to combine together in the oncoming future as it might become an unstoppable force on the internet.

(A Few Hours Later)

Inside the living room, 4 figures were seen as the whole Tanaka family was huddled around the living room talking to each other.

"Remember to eat plenty okay? We have plenty of food inside the fridge and you can already cook yourself, and I'll give you an allowance of 1000 dollars for the days we are away so you can also buy food online" said his father who has a relatively tall figure, with short black hair along with his caring and kind demeanor, he appears to be a person you can trust your life with.

"And don't overexert yourself physically" said his mother who has long black hair that reaches below her neck, with a relatively mature figure that has a motherly aura to her, she looks like a kind woman who gives free candy to kids.

"Nii-chan! Don't hurt yourself okay!" said his little brother who was a kind little brother that he still treats like a child, with long black hair that was below his neck, big round brown eyes that glimmers in a glow of kindness and care that was directed towards him, with a cute little nose and luscious pink lips that was used to suck his... arms when they were still both very young as red markings were left on his arms while they giggled in child like joy, a petite body that was even smaller than his below average frame even though their difference in age was only a year.

"I know, don't worry about me too much, I can handle myself after all these years" said Aki with a smile as his family chuckled.

"Mmm, well take care of yourself, see you in a few days" said his father as they pick up their luggage off the ground and started to walk out of the house along with his brother who was waving goodbye to him.

They then put their stuff inside the car and entered it as they shouted.

"Take care!" said his family as his father started to turn on the car.

"I will!" said Aki as the car then drove away into the distance while Aki was left alone in a large open white field of snow inside his family's land and looked around the snowing landscape and saw nothing interested and went back inside his house and felt his hands already shaking from the cold.

"Sigh, at least I was born in a well off family, what would have happened if I was born in a normal or worse, a poor family with this weak body of mine, I would have died before even reaching 10" muttered Aki as he sighed in sadness but also acceptance as he went back upstairs to enjoy his time alone.
