11 Leaving the Factory

BANG! Li Feng's fist landed upon a metal contraption - perhaps a production line - and it crumbled beneath his might. The metal bent and sparked, collapsing and falling to the ground with a crash. The scene confused everyone present, making them even more fearful, and some of those who were sobbing covered their mouths in fear of making a single sound.

"Come out!" said Li Feng as he rushed to the man hidden under the contraption, which had been destroyed to reveal him hiding beneath it. The man was shaking in fear.

Wang Fang carefully stood up, trembling, not daring to look up, and, not knowing when he would be 'destroyed,' began shaking even harder.

"Get up!" Li Feng ordered.

One by one, the people climbed out of their hiding spots and similarly stood up, though they did not dare look at Li Feng.

Of course, some did not, thinking they could escape.

Under Li Feng's orders, enforced by the fear he inspired, Wang Fang and the other men brought a crying girl to Li Feng.

In front of everyone, the girl was devoured.

"Hurry up and make me some clothes!"

After hearing Li Feng's words, the men lowered their heads and quickly ran to their workstations, preparing the fabric and operating the machines to start sewing.

"Hmm?" When Li Feng looked back, he saw them frozen in place. The person who had started operating the machines had also stopped moving, making Li Feng furious.

"You're not doing it. Do you want to feel death?" he said.

Wang Fang hastened to explain, "We have to measure your size… Unfortunately, we do not have a big enough size for you!"

Li Feng realized that the factory workers didn't know how to make clothes for giants but only for ordinary people.

"Oh, then let's measure." Li Feng scratched the back of his head, smiled awkwardly, and sat on the ground while the others took a thick, long rope and began measuring.

At nearly five meters tall, even sitting flat on the floor, he was too tall for an adult. While his lower body was fine, his upper body was impossible to measure due to the height difference.

They didn't dare to step on Li Feng, so they could only stand on their tiptoes and struggle to reach him.

Li Feng looked on and draped the rope over his shoulder. Only then did the men on the ground breathe a sigh of relief.

"Remember, make them as big as possible, or I will kill you."

The man who had finished measuring ran away from Li Feng's body and returned to his post to make the giant's clothes.

With how fast Li Feng is evolving, he will evolve again in a few days, and if his clothes were small or tight-fitting, he would have to run around naked again.

With this in mind, he had them make his clothes as big as possible so he could wear them longer.

Under the gaze of Li Feng, the few people who originally wanted to slow down the pace of production in order to live a little longer had to speed up.

Li Feng gave instructions, nodding his head from time to time, like a kind-hearted elder teaching his disciples.

"Hmm? It won't work like this…."

There was no need for a high-quality piece of clothing. He removed the unimportant, decorative portions; he wants strength and reliability, not beauty.

From morning to afternoon, the clothes were altered again and again, and more fabric was added layer after layer. Excluding Li Feng, who had his belly stuffed, the others hadn't eaten anything.

By this time, they were hungry, dizzy, and exhausted. Finally, after making the clothes, they collapsed on the floor.

To lessen distractions and increase focus, the factory management had the employees put away all cell phones before each work day. The punishment was particularly severe should anyone be caught possessing a cell phone. Hence, no one ever took the risk.

Only at meal times or in an emergency could they make a call.

Therefore, no one had their phones on them during this time. As such, they couldn't contact the outside world. If they could and did, Li Feng would be surrounded, captured, tortured, and executed; his body displayed in all of the sun's glory to commemorate the triumph of humanity.

Fully dressed, Li Feng walked around and surveyed the area in good spirits.

'Good thing I'm hungry.'

Turning to the people lying on the ground. He nonchalantly threw one in his mouth.

[Ding ~ Plus 0.5 Evolution Points.]

After his last upgrade, reaching a body size of over four meters, the Evolution Points gained from eating humans were only half the original, which Li Feng didn't complain about.

As one rises through the food chain, the energy provided by the lower creatures naturally becomes weaker and less capable of sustaining a larger predator.

Spitting leftover clothes onto the ground, he walked over to the second one, grabbed him by the waist, and sent him into his mouth.

It reminded Li Feng of eating tomatoes: red juice explodes everywhere after piercing the soft skin.

When they first came to the factory, they still had the strength to run, but now, after a series of high-intensity activities, their legs hurt like hell when they try moving.

With their weakness, they could only get slaughtered, watching the others get eaten before reaching their turn.

[Ding ~ Evolution Points 4/50.]

Eight provided a measly four Evolution Points; eating that many wasn't enough to get full.

And as he continued to get stronger, this would only become more and more major until eating humans was utterly useless.
