2 Naru as a Student!

"So your cognitive dream came back?" Yasu asked.

"What? I thought I just having nightmares!" Mai denied.

"What are you going to do?" Naru asked Shimaji.

"I would like to hire you but it's out of my pocket money and the school doesn't approve of it so it'll be undercover work," Shimaji sighed. "It's a high school so I think Mai-chan can fit in as transfer student but I'm not sure about... " she stared at the boss, Yasu and Lin.

"I can't possibly let the clumsy investigator to do all the work alone, can I?" Naru stared at Mai and sighed. "How about equipment? Can we arrange it?"

"There's some hidden place that you can put your equipment in and can use one of the club for base, they've agreed on that but for who can go on undercover?"

"Mai," Naru said.

"Huh?" Mai looked confuse and still pouting for his latest comment about her clumsiness.

"We're going in as student and Lin can go as teacher," Naru said and he got up and went into his man cave. "And Mai?" he popped his head.

"Yes," Mai looked at him.

"Tea," he said then closed the door.

Mai sighed in defeat and went to the kitchen again.

Shimaji and Yasu watched the whole scene and started to laughed when the boss was already inside his cave. And Lin also chuckled.

class 2-3

"Did you know there's a transfer student?"" a guy whispered.

"Yes, I heard it's Shimaji-senpai's friend, she's persistent about her sisters disappearances, a girl said with mocking tone.

The gossip continue until they saw Naru and Mai in uniform. They thought they'll see Yasu but the girl were smitten by Naru and they thought it's impossible for them to transfer into different class if they're related to the case. So one of them are not a real student.

Mai was going to class 2-4 which was a different class.

Naru introduced himself as Narumi Naru instead of Shibuya Kazuya.

Mai was already been briefed that she'll enter Shimaji Reiko's class and will have some students who'll help her with the equipment and the interview with the other students.

Naru stated that he'll just supervised her which made Mai pouted angrily.

On lunch break, she walked pass Naru's class and sighed as she saw the female student swarming over Naru. They're gossiping of the school mysterious disappearance and even pointed at her when she passed the class, said that she's a spy.

Mai was walking on the corridor to go to the old building with Tamura Renji, Reiko's close friend. Mai suddenly got goosebumps as she walked on the corridor. She saw the hidden place where they'd place the camera earlier and went to club/base where the monitor was placed.

"Wow this is so cool," Tamura exclaimed when he saw those monitor. Lin and Yasu was sitting in front of the monitor.

"Anything from the monitor?" Naru asked.

"Cold spot on monitor 3 and 5, it's been dropping since the student passed by,." Lin repotted.

"Mai, tea," Naru said. "And never come here alone."

"You..." Mai pouted.

"You're a danger magnet," Naru said coldly.

"Hey, just out of curiosity, how do you manage to escape those girls attention?" Tamura asked Naru.

"I think he just told them 'my face looks more beautiful than you'," Mai chided in and sighed as she remembered their first meeting.

"Mai," Naru called her in reprimanded way.

"Aye aye boss," she said as she walked over with cup of tea in her hand and she grumpily sighed.

"Let's start with the interview later after class," Naru said after drinking his much needed tea.
