3 Day 2 November

She was running but she could hear the huffing and puffing from behind as if someone was laughing. She was running and she could feel that if she could reach the door, that means she was safe.

She ran but the corridor felt so endless and her leg began to grow tired. She realized just a little bit more. just 6 meters more.

She tripped and started to crawling back up when she felt something grabbed her leg and she screamed.

The whole 2-4 class was surprised by a scream. They shook Mai and surprised when they could see the visible bruise started to shown out of nowhere from Mai's wrist and leg. It was lunch break and just yesterday some of the student was having interview with Mai.

Some of the students thought that she's tired from doing all nighter so they didn't wake her through the break.

And now the break is over. They panicked and saw Naru was checking on the familiar scream. Naru shook her shoulder hard, he could see the visible bruise on her wrist and pressed his hand on her shoulder and pulled her.

Her eyes were open and she could hear Naru's

voice called her and she realized it's her who screamed. She clamped her mouth shut and started to sobbed out of relief when she saw Naru there.

"Are you ok?" he asked.

"Yes, sorry," Mai said.

"Can you continue?" Naru asked again.

"Yes, don't worry," Mai smiled.

The teacher already walked into the class as Naru left.

Lin looked at Naru and Mai got into the base together with Tamura, and he noticed something strange with Mai. And he noticed the bruise on her wrist.

"Mai, talk," Naru told her as soon as she sat down and they had full attention of Lin and Yasu.

They could see Mai fidgeting nervously and looked at them.

"I was running, I felt the breathing behind me as if there's someone behind me, I feel like if i made it to the end then I'm safe. But I tripped and it grabbed my leg and pulled me as if I'm nothing and I tried to free myself and I felt my hair was long."

"Reiko has long hair," Yasu and Tamura said. "Sayaka got medium hair and Sana short hair."

"I felt it dragged me to starting point again and said 3 more times, that's when I opened my eyes and saw..." Mai could feel her cheeks hotter and dashed up to the kitchenette to prepare tea for Naru.

Naru, Lin and Yasu were deep in thought when Tamura sighed.

"Yasuhara-san, get this building blueprint and checked up the history," Naru said. "Take Tamura with you."

"Yes, big boss," Yasu said cheerfully.

"Lin, anything from the footage?" Naru asked.

"Cold spot growing and it got colder than outside temperature and there's rapping sounds on camera 3 at 10 am. And significant difference on 4 pm too."

"Mai, never alone," he reminded her.

"Aye aye, boss," Mai sighed.

"Lin can you handle it?" Naru asked.

"It's better to call Takigawa and Mitsuzaki but we have to be discreet," Lin said.

"Mai, do you remember any details?"

"The corridor seems to be different, as if the right has turned left, I remember he grabbed my left leg but the bruise appeared on my right, and the corridor looks odd," Mai said. "It reminded me of the case where the teacher guide his students back into school. But it felt different, that thing, he just wanted to play."

Naru stared at her as if she grew another head.

"And I think Reiko's alive but I'm not sure about the other," Mai sighed.
