29 The Two Tribes

I soon saw the whole view and seen that they carried little knives and clubs and it looks as if they are setting up camp here too. What could be going on? What are those beasts? What is going on?

The beasts were at most 4 feet in height, and some were really light green and a few were dark. green. All of the beasts had pointy ears like elf ears by bigger and werebear footed, and they were skinny to the point where you could see their bones. Their clothing was of animal fur that they had cut off and put on. Some even had animal bones as armor on them, but these were the light green ones though.

The dark green beast was a little taller, and they had more meat on them and more buff than the others. They had more armor on their body that was made of leather and other things they probably stole. Other than those differences they looked exactly the same as the other beasts.

"There are three of us and a lot more of them...I don't think we can take them all?" I said looking over my shoulder to Yuko and them looking at the pink slime with hesitation and thinking intensely.

Soon enough I thought of a plan and thought of It quick. Our first phase will be Operation pick-offs, then after that will be Divide and concur then we will finish them off in a quick attack sequence.

The first Phase will be Operation pick-offs and what this means is all three of us will take at least 3 stragglers out and return to our original spot for we can make everyone is safe. We will use this phase to see our opponent's strengths and weaknesses and maybe get some information on what they are.

Then this would lead us to our second phase which is Divide and concur. What this means is after checking all of us are good and back in one piece we will begin this phase. We will spit up again, but this time we will use one of us to cause a distraction while the other 2 of us will sneak into the camp and finish off the others. I will be the distraction and Yuko and the pink slime will be my assassins.

This is where we will be going all out and fight, and If I'm are lucky I might get some good gear for me.

I turned to my two slimes next to me and told them the plan and they nodded their bodies as to they understood what I was saying.

"Okay get ready Yu.." Before I could finish my sentence I heard fighting coming from the distance where the Green beast was setting up camp. I quickly sprinted toward the direction of the camp they set up with Yuko and the pink slime behind me.

I saw 2 different beasts fighting this time the first one was the same green beast as before, but the second was Lizardmen. These Beasts I knew what they were though because of the books I used to read, and it seemed they wanted the wolf body too.

Right now there were only 2 beast fighting and I was guessing that they were each group's leaders. The rest of the Beast was just surrounding the 2 in a circle and watching the fight unfold. Soon I heard talking in a language I didn't understand and then a system prompt popped up in my head.

*Ding

*Would you like to learn the language of the beasts? Say Yes or No.

'This is new I didn't know I could learn languages like this? This will come in handy in the future.' I thought to myself while looking at thinking of the possibilities in the future.

"Yes," I said out loud trying not to draw the attention of the beasts in front of me.

*You have learned the language of the beasts

"The Body of the Wolf Giant is ours," The Green beasts said pointing its little dagger at the red Lizermenchief.

"That's funny," The Lizermen Chief said laughing out loud. "You know the tribes wouldn't like the fact your hiding food for yourself." the lizardmen said lifting his sword at the head of the green beasts.

"Us goblins aren't apart of the tribes anymore..." The Green beasts said looking at the rest of his species.

'So these beasts are goblins and the stronger looking ones are probably an evolved version of the goblins' I thought to myself while listening to them argue.

"I don't think you understand...There is no leaving the tribes" The Lizermen Chief said while running toward the Gobin pointing its sword at its head.

The goblin ducked down and dodge the attack while swinging its little dagger trying to price the lizardmen hard skin, but failed. The dagger deflected off its skin causing the goblin the jump back in worry.

"HAHAHAHHAHAHA" The Lizermen laughed out loud from the fact that the goblin in front of him couldn't even hurt him. "You are weak and pathetic how are you the tribe leader of the goblins?" The Lizardmen charge swinging his sword again at the goblin.

The goblin dodges backward in haste with a worried expression on his face he even gritted his teeth in worry and anger. "Who said I'm the leader of the goblins?" The goblin in charging for the lizardmen's body again.

"What did you say? if your not the leader...Then who is" The lizardman said with a puzzling expression tapping its tail against the ground. He didn't even bother to dodge the goblins attack at this point.

The goblin saw this chance as an opening because the Lizardman was underestimating him. The goblin redirected his attack from the Lizardman's body to his right eye.

"The leader of the goblins shouldn't waste their time with you" The Goblin yelled out loud stabbing the Lizardman's eye.

It wasn't until the dagger went into the Lizardman eye until he felt what was going on.

"AGHUUU" The Lizardman yelled in pain the goblin retreated taking out the dagger from the lizardman's eye and took some steps back.

"You will pay for that," The Lizardman said while pointing his sword at the goblin who stabbed him.

"You should just leave while you have the chance we aren't giving up the Wolf body." The goblin said while pointing his bloody dagger that was dripping blue blood at the lizardman.

"I warned you" The Lizardman's tail raised with hard red spikes coming out of it and he yelled out "ATTACK!!"

Soon The two tribes starting fighting many goblins were dying easily without any chance because of the lizardman's hard skin. Then on the other hand the Goblins were quicker and more agile so the Lizardman couldn't hit the goblins. The evolved goblins were the ones picking off the Lizardmen while either stabbing them or breaking their necks.

*Ding

[Do you want to collect the souls]

"Yes"

I said without any hesitation and soon my soul bar started to fill up and on the plus side, they are killing each other so I and Yuko won't have to kill them anymore for the wolf. Two birds with one stone.
