9 The Loyal Slime
(Author here this chapter is in Yuko's Point of View so please don't get confused)
I used my [Charge] skill and finish off the Slime Knight that almost killed us. I then proceeded to grab something that the Slime Knight had dropped and put it into my storage.
Then I grabbed Satoru's unconscious body and dragged him back to the river where we hunted for fish. It was quite heavy drag him I put all my effort into doing it.
Once I had brought Satoru to the river I took note of some things I should get.
1) get wood to set up a fire
2) find something to cover Satoru in for he wouldn't freeze to death
3) food to keep him to keep healthy
I started to bounce off in search of things that can help Satoru. I made sure to cover him with leaves and sticks to make sure nothing would attack him.
------------1 Day later-----------
On my search for food, I have encountered a group of 5 slimes near the spot I hid Master Satoru.
"I can't let them attack Master Satoru while he is asleep I need to take them out now." I thought to myself
I jump on top of the highest tree I could find and waited for one to stray from the group.
"THEIR!" I saw an opening because one of the slimes walked off to scout the area in front of the others. I jumped from tree to tree following the slime that strayed from the others and when he was far enough. I jumped down while using my skill [Charge] killing it in one hit.
I heard the others slimes coming because I heard bouncing in the background. I quickly jumped back on top of the tree I jumped off to hide.
"Damn the slime body," I thought to myself while looking at it then looking at the slimes that were coming closer. I quickly thought of something because we were getting closer to the Master Satoru. It hit me!! I rushed towards slimes trying to be super quiet like a spy for they wouldn't be on guard yet. I then stopped when they were under me.
"here's my chance," I said in my head. I quickly jumped down on the slime nearest to the back and used [Charge] and kill it in one hit. The others turned around from the loud noise I made from dropping down onto the slime. I quickly charge at the nearest slime towards me before they can gain their composure. Without using my skill and just ramming into the slime I killed it in one hit.
"I didn't know I was so powerful now," I thought, also thinking when did I become so strong?
The last two slimes tried to use their [Charge] on me at the same time. All I did was jump and they both hit each other. I bounced towards them both slowly and rammed into both of them quickly trying to make the death quick.
I hope that Master Satoru is okay while I'm gone...I thought to myself.
As I return to Master I lay next to his head leaning against him and went to sleep trying to cuddle up close to him.
-----------6 Days Later----------
It's been one week since the big fight with the Slime Knight and Master Satoru hasn't woken up yet. The fight made Master really tired and injured like his whole body was covered in blood.
Every day since the fight I made sure to clean Master with the river water. I store all the water in my body then I got on top of him slowly releasing all the water from my body trying to clean every part of him. I also tore his shirt off to clean him better and it was covered in a lot of blood. So it was better with it off. I could see that Mater was kinda in shape, but I didn't look like he worked out every day so he wasn't toned just average.
And also with when I was storing the water in my body I released some of the water into his mouth for he drink something. I couldn't make a fire to cook fish, but I found some Gapples on top of some trees. I tried to grind the fruit to feed it to the Master easier and it worked. I slowly feed him the fruit 3 times a day every day and made sure to do it slowly. Need to make sure Master doesn't choke
I have also tried to minimize the number of fights I had, but no matter how hard I tried to avoid them I always got into a fight. In the past week, I have killed a total of 21 Slimes. It feels like the number of Slimes coming closer to the river is increasing every single day. I wonder why? Is it because of Master fighting the Slime Knight? Whatever it is this place will soon be a slime breeding spot if they keep coming at this rate...
I proceeded to go back next to the master and sleep in the same spot as always and cuddle next to him. Master moves on top of me at night and uses me like a pillow, But I don't mind for now Master is hurt so I let him. I've been doing this for the past week for him...I do hope Master is okay...
----------------1 Week---------------
It has almost been 2 weeks since the Master has fallen asleep. Every day I pray I wake up to Master's hands Petting me...Everday that dream gets shattered...
I feel like the hordes of Slimes Keeps on increasing with every passing day. Now I have killed a total of 37 Slimes and that was just the ones near the Master that I had to kill. There have to be at least 50 more Slimes wandering around us right now...What's going on not even in the Slime garden were there this many slimes here...Are they targeting the master for killing the Slime Knight? Or me? Maybe I should leave if so...I'm only putting Master in trouble...No I got to stay Who else will take care of Master he's too stubborn and reckless sometimes.
I give Master the regular routine like always. I feed him and give him things to drink every day 3 times a day. I also wash Master every day making sure to make sure his wounds are getting healed too. And also as every day passes I feel like the master's body is getting more fit...I don't know how that is possible, but he seems more tone now...Kinda..of...NO that is MASTER I CAN'T THINK OF THAT...
I ignore all my thoughts and try to go to sleep on the Master's chest today and cuddle with him to make him feel better.
--------A few hours later----------
"My poor Yuko...Did you take care of me all this time...My Loyal Slime...I'm so proud of you." I heard the master's voice and woke up to make sure it wasn't a dream I heard.
I woke up to see Master sitting against a tree with me in his lap, and...The...Master was petting my head. "Thank you Master for not leaving me," I said in my head happily. Too bad the master can't read my mind.
At this moment I felt so happy and wanted to stay like this.
But of course, all happy moments have to end...
