21 The girl

I search for Yuko in the meadow that was right next to the forest where I had just killed the beast.

I came to find Yuko in an enormous crater with deep slashes in the grounds around the crater. Like a meteor crater mixed with a tornado came through here. In the center, you can see a tiny little slime laying down without a care in the world.

I started to climb down the enormous crater that the beast caused while fighting Yuko.

After 2-3 minutes of climbing down the crater and finally reached Yuko. She looked so exhausted to the point where she couldn't even move her body to glance at me.

"You worked really hard trying to stall time for us didn't you. When we are healed up I will give you a present I promise." I say smiling at Yuko trying to make her feel more relaxed and at ease. I then used my good arm that actually works to grab Yuko and pick her up into my arm cuddling her.

I then start climbing myself out of the crater, but it was harder going up without using any hands. This process took 5-6 minutes because I kept falling from mess placing my feet.

Soon enough Yuko and I have made it out of the crater together and relaxed down on the ground taking a break. "Why don't we look at our stats Yuko...Huh?" I said to her just patting her head with my hand.

I thought of the system and It appeared in front of me. I guess I don't need to try and tap anything now I have more control of the system now. "This is good for the future," I thought to myself thinking of the endless possibilities I can do with this.

"It looks like we are getting pretty powerful Yuko," I say with a surprised expression.

WAIT HOW DID MY CLASS LEVEL UP?

I quickly thought of the class tab and it pulled up some information about it.

This makes a lot of sense and once Yuko gets stronger she can get a minion...I wonder what she will take on to serve her.

Interesting the further we get in our classes the stronger we get. I will be taking note of this in the future for more power.

After finishing reviewing our stats Yuko and I felt less exhausted so I stood up with Yuko in my hands walking towards the direction where the adventures ran too...Don't get me wrong I was still exhausted and my arm was killing me, but I felt better now.

We soon reached where the adventures were at, but I noticed all of them were passed out now. "I guess hunter couldn't hold out any more and passed out with everyone else...Good job Hunter I'm proud," I said with a smirk of satisfaction and delight that there okay.

I placed down Yuko from my hands and seen that she could move a little now. I looked at her mana that was drain and seen that it was now.

From my assumptions, I can see that If your mana drops below 5 your mana core will be unstable. This will cause you to be paralyzed and only able to think, but when they get back there mana they will slowly be able to move again. I am guessing this applies to someone's stamina too, but what about someone's health?

When I place Yuko down she slowly moves her body over to the girl with multi-colored eyes. "You are pretty fond of her aren't you," I say to Yuko in a gentle voice trying to figure out why.

"Yuko you stay here and protect them from anything that comes this way...I will be back." I say leaving the area where they are all passed out.

I walked to where I remember where the lake was from where we left the Slime-cave/Slime-Kingdom. I eventually found it after 10 minutes of walking and wandering around.

I came across many monsters, but they were mostly wolves and small beasts so I just continued to jump from tree to tree until I found the lake.

While I was at the lake I made a list of things to grab since I'm here. The first thing was some food so I quickly dived into the water trying to grab some fish, but it was useless. I got out of the water and made a little spear out of some wooden sticks I found lying around.

I made myself silent and quite waiting in the water just waiting for the opportunity to strike. 'THERE' I quickly stabbed my spear into the water and caught 2 fish on my stick. Though this wasn't enough to feed everyone so I continued to fish. Eventually, I had caught 3 big fish and 4 small fish this was enough to feed everyone. My arm started acing in pain and my eyes were starting to burn a little so I started to head back to the adventures.

It took me 5 minutes to head back to adventures I was quicker than before because I knew where I was going this time. When I had arrived there I saw a glowing bloody red pricing eye looking straight at me.

It was the girl with multi-colored she looked to be my age, and she looked gorgeous too. 'Stop thinking like that I can't think about those types of things...' I thought to myself trying to shut myself up. She was sat-up against a tree with Yuko on her lap. She was petting Yuko while smiling at her.

When I walked in I started her, so she went on guard until she saw me. A half-naked guy still wet from getting in the lake with fish on a sick on his spear. My body was still covered in wounds, and my arm was still pearlized so It just looked like a dangling toy.

I looked at everyone else, but she was the only one awake.

"I see you are awake that is good. How do you feel?" I say trying to make conversation, but I was rusty because I haven't had to make conversation with a human in a while.

"I'm a bit tired, but feel alright...May I asked what happen and why are the rest of them passed out?" She said tilting her head to the in a questioning expression.

"It's a long story I would rather wait for everyone else to wake up first," I reply.

"Alright, then what should we do until they wake up?" She asked questioning again.

"Well, I am going to set-up a fire for everyone and start cooking some fish to eat. Would you like to help me?" I asked for assistance because I am feeling quite drained.

"Sure why not. Just tell me what to do." She replied to me.

"How about you start getting the fire ready and I will get the wood for the fire," I said looking at Yuko. "Yuko you keep everyone safe while I get the wood ready," I said looking at Yuko and looking at the girl again who was staring at me.

"Is this slime your pet?" I asked me.

"Yes, I have had her since I was a child and I've been stuck with her ever since" I responded trying to make up a story trying to not draw any attention to myself.

"Yall bond must be strong to have her that long then?" She says.

"I would hope so we have been through some tuff battles together," I say laughing remembering the Slime Knight and the Wolve.

"By the way, I know everyone else's name may I ask your name?" I say asking this beautiful woman in front of me.

"Ohh...Please forgive my rudeness let me introduce myself properly." She then looks straight into my eyes and blushes a little and bow down. "My name is Ember Bloodfallen and it's a pleasure to meet you, Sir....?" She gets up looks at me waiting for me to present my name.

I kneeled down to her and say "My name is Satoru Mikami and the pleasure is all mine Mrs. Ember" I say then get up to see her blushing.

"I will get started on the fire." She says turning around quickly trying to hide her face.

To be fair I am half-naked in front of her and I just kneeled down for her so I can see why. And is it just me or is my body getting more fit and more toned than before?

"I will be off to then be safe if anything happens to call Yuko she will help you," I say leaving the area taking one last look at Ember and her glowing red eye.

'It really does look beautiful and her name fits her so well too.' I thought to myself while looking for wood.
