25 The Beautiful lake

Soon after we finish eating our fish and telling everyone what happened they wanted to know more about Yuko and the pink slime. The only problem is I have only had Yuko for a little while and the pink slime for literally a minute. So I don't know anything about them at all so I don't know what to say.

"Hey, Sir Satoru? Can I call you Satoru?" Hunter says looking at me with glee in his eyes.

"Yes don't be so formal with me and that means everyone," I said looking at everyone trying to make everyone more comfortable with me.

"Satoru it is," Hunter says and everyone turns and looks at me.

"So what's next?" Kay says looking at me questioning.

"First we relax and we heal a bit. By we I mean ME then we complete your quest and you will return to civilization." I say saying the basics of our plans.

"What do you mean by you? Are you not coming back with us to the city?" Ember says getting up from where the pink slime and Yuko were playing.

Everyone looks at me even Luna looked at me with suspicion on her face at my words Ember pointed out.

"Is that true? If it is we can't leave you here?" Ember said looking at me with a worried expression.

"Don't worry about me I will be fine because I have Yuko with me. I will join yall soon after" I said looking straight into Ember's eyes that looked like they were going shot out a waterfall itself.

I need to find out why the Pink Slime was following me and what other groups could have sent it after me. And what we can do with this dungeon key...

"We can't just leave you..." Ember says about to cry out a whole tub of water.

"Don't worry I will be just fine" I look at Ember Smiling and also say. "Don't be discouraged, but smile for me."

Embers face turned blush like a tomato and smiled for Satoru. Everyone else just smiles at the sight of Ember smiling for something, and this made them happy. I slowly move my hand to Ember's head and start patting her as I do with Yuko. This made Yuko jump and started to bounce a lot. Ember's Dark coal hair was very soft like cotton candy and she didn't stop me from doing it. She even seemed like she liked it and it calmed her down a lot.

"Remember what I told you. You got to make friends that will stick with you and when you need me I will be there...You have my word." I say before looking at the others who were just watching this cheesy movie unfold.

"Now, why don't yall tell me what your quest is first," I say looking at the others waiting for one of them to answer.

Hunter was the first to break out of his trance and said "We have a collecting herbs quest since we are only F-Rank adventures."

'So there are Ranks in this world too then' I commented to myself. 'I wonder how they assign the ranks in this world?'

"Okay, first things first we need to relax and then get your herbs. Then I can escort you out of this forest and in about maybe a week or month I'll find you all." I said looking at everyone

"How will we relax? We have already slept for a while so there's no point in relaxing" Luna commented looking at me and aggression.

"Well there is a lake about 5 minutes away from here and I was just assuming you all would want to relax a bit there. You know sWiMmInG? You know FUN?" I resounded to her aggression with sarcasm and SAS.

"That sounds like a great Idea Satoru," Hunter says cutting off the tension between me and Luna before it got worse. "Why don't we go right now since we just finish eating," Hunter says as he gets up to his feet patting the dirt off his pants.

Soon follows Ember holding Yuko in her hands and Kay follows soon after. Kay tries to grab the Pink slime but fails because the slime simply didn't like him at all. Luna was hesitant but couldn't do anything because everyone already made up their minds.

"Follow me then," I say leading everyone to the lake.

We soon arrive at a sight most beautiful the sun was right above the lake creating a beautiful orange tent to the water. The grass around the lake was so lively because of the gentle breeze blowing. Even the animal around the lake seems to love it because you could see all sorts of animals. Such as what looked to be some type of deer, some more wolves, Tiger-like things, and more. The lake was truly beautiful at this time of day.

"Wow," Kay says out loud with his jaw-dropping to the ground. He starts taking off his shirt and walks toward the water. He had an average good fit for an F-Rank adventure which was surprising.

"I'm speechless..." Ember says while looking at the orange lake in front of her.

"SPLASH" Soon Kay jumped in the lake and splashed water everywhere creating mini rainbows in the air for a split second.

"Are yall ready to hop in?" Hunter says while looking at me who was already basically ready to swim again.

"I'm always ready for a good swim," I say while looking at him. "But your not take off that shirt and show us your muscles why don't you?" Soon the girls looked at me with a weird expression. I'm not gay!!!

"Alright, but don't get embarrassed when you see mine are better than yours," Hunter says taking off his shirt showing his bulging muscles that are fitting for a man his size. Hunter was a large man that was probably 6'2 in height. He truly did put mine and Kay's muscles to shame in one second.

Soon Hunter and I jumped in the lake slashing the girls. While the boys were swimming the girls just stuck their feet in the water enjoying the breeze and sun.

"We really don't get days like this do we?" Luna says looking at the Beautiful lake. Ember simply shock her head in agreement.
