3 My First Pet

I looked at all the Slimes. This place looks like a breeding ground for them. A lot of little blue, squishy looking things jumping around each other. I can count at least 30 of them at least.

"Wait can I tame a slime?"

I look at all the slimes and walked to that was by itself for I wouldn't get jumped by slimes. Now that I say that in my head sounds pretty pathetic right.

Well, I slowly approach the slime to not make it run away, but it spotted me and instead of running away it came bouncing at me. That was unexpected I didn't think it would do that, but I guess it is a monster after all.

I just stood there waiting for it to come closer to me. I can try my Taming skill this way it's not like the slime can hurt me. Also, the slime is like the weakest monster out their so I can tame it easy even though I am just a level one. "You got to figure out your limits before you can play in the game you know."

"Come at me you slime let's see what you can do for me," I say with a smile on my face.

*Quest triggered

"Oh I got a quest finally, and I even get a reward for it. Even more of a reason to tame this slime now" I say with excitement.

The slime was finally in front of me I let him throw one punch or whatever attack he uses to see the damage he can do. I was watching my hp bar while it jumped at me knocking me on the floor while it bounces off of me.

"Wow I didn't think you could push me, that was my bad for thinking you couldn't attack with force," I said as I was writing everything down mentally.

"Not bad if I say so, good job you knock me down and 1 point of my Hp," I say with excitement.

"But now it's time for me to try" I put one of my hands out and placed it on the slime head? I think it's the head. Well, I placed it on its (head) and said "Taming." As soon as I said that a bright red crimson circle with a star in the center appeared on top of the slime's head and on the palm of my hand.

I look at the screen that just appeared in front of me as I tilted my head to the side and wonder what it is with curiosity.

Without hesitation, I said "YES" a bit too loudly, but one can never be too careful in a world like this.

I look down at the slime and sat down away from all the other slimes. For we wouldn't be getting attacked.

I open my menu and look at it.

"I have gotten my first pet, does that mean I can open pet stats now?"

As I was about to raise my hand to click the tab the slime stops me and jump on my lap. Not going to lie this slime is cute. It's the size of my head and the color of a beautiful diamond, but the red circle thing disappeared from my hand and its head. Very interesting to me MMMmmm. As I was thinking to myself the slime jumps up and down on my lap.

Does it want something? "Wait I wonder if it's squishy?" I say to myself as I move my hand towards to slime to pet it. I placed my hand on the slime it felt as if I was playing with a pillow or those stuffed animals you used to sleep with when you were little. You know which ones I'm talking about.

I just notice when I was touching the slime it was staying still. "You're enjoying this right buddy?"

Just then the slime moves closer to my lap and stayed there as I was petting the softness of a cloud-like thing...Heaven...

I kept petting the slime and it stayed still. With my other hand, I open the menu back up and clicked on the Pet stats tab

There is another tab now that says Pet Skills in the Pet Stats section. I clicked it.

Skill Storage is a skill that can store a maximum of 5 items in the body of the user.

Skill Charge is a skill that can propel the user forward at a faster speed to do 5% more damage if the user hits the target.

So he used a skill charge on me when he attacked me huh. That is why I fell down, but why didn't the damage boost kick in? Maybe because of my vitality and his strength now that makes sense.

I looked over all the stats and everything and I see that it didn't have a name and neither did I. I probably name myself first before I name it first. Wait does the slime have a gender.

I looked at the stats and seen that my slime is actually a girl. How can you tell cause I don't know?

Well, back to the making my name thing should I go with my name Satoru Mikami I thought about this for at least 10 minutes, but then thought why not.

"Well won't you look at that, all I needed to do is think it and it happens," I said with happiness thinking that I can just think something about the system and it will happen? Does that mean I can do that with spills too?

I have to try that later.
