23 Magic and slimes?

I sense Yuko and the unknow being following me earlier clashing in a series of attacks. I sprinted over to where I sense it and what I saw was jaw-dropping. I saw Yuko fighting a pink slime that looked just like Yuko.

"What's going on? I thought we left out of the Slime territory?" I said out of confusion.

"STOP" I yelled at the top of my lungs causing both the slimes clashing in a series of attacks to stop. Yuko was only using her [Charge] skill to attack, but she stopped when I yelled out. The pink slime was using some sort of wind magic and a [charge] skill, but also stop when I yelled out.

"Yuko come here now," I commanded making Yuko hurriedly jump onto my shoulder in an instant. I had on a serious expression trying to figure out what was going on. And why was there a slime outside of the slime cave, and why was it pink?

"Okay, here how this is going to work. First off you will move your body for a yes, and then don't move for a no. Got it...Good" I said trying to set up some rules.

Next thing I knew the slime turned away from me trying to escape. I quickly dashed to the slime exit and blocked it. "I don't think you get it...You don't have a choice." I said while looking down at the slime.

My agility is way higher than before so It looks like I can outrun this Slime now.

"Are you coming after me for killing the slime Knight?" I said asking my first question.

She didn't move so that is a no.

"Did someone send you after me" I proceeded to ask my second question still looking at the little pink slime.

She then proceeded to jump a little and go back to the same spot. I guess she figured out that she won't be able to make it out alive if she doesn't cooperate with me.

"Did the Slime kingdom send you after me?" I said looking straight at the slime looking for some type of moment.

Why didn't she jump or anything though? If the Slime King didn't send this slime who did? And why are they after me?

WAIT...Most importantly how did the slime leave the cave if the other slimes didn't?

"Are you alone?"

The slime then proceeded to jump once and then go back into its original position.

"That solves that then...Are you here to kill me?" I said hesitantly

The little pink slime didn't move.

"Are you here to capture me?"

Nothing

They why is this slime following me if not to kill or capture me?

"I have to go back to camp," I looked at Yuko while saying this then turned to the pink slime. "You will be going with us to camp and if you try to escape or hurt anyone at camp...You will be dead in a matter of seconds." I said while giving the slime if you behave we good look.

Soon I enter the camp again and everyone is still passed out, but Ember is still working on the fish. I entered the camp first and then the pink slime behind me and then Yuko behind the slime. We needed to make sure it didn't try to escape.

"Who is that pink slime?" Ember says with curiosity standing up from the fire where she was cooking the fish.

"This is an old friend of Yuko and mine. We just saw.." I then realized I don't know its gender so I can't give it anything to go by.

Ember was just staring at me wondering why I stopped talking in the middle of my sentence.

"This is just an old friend that we had encountered," I said to put it simply. Ember just nodded her head and walked toward me.

"Isn't it kinda weird to only have slimes as friends?" She says feeling sad for me.

At this moment I just realized I probably look really weird having all these slimes around me.

"I..."

"It's okay...It's like you said you have to make your own friends and family" She then turned to me looking away from the 2 slimes behind me and smiled. I'm sooo happy she took those words to heart.

"Well, I've only ever seen weak blue slimes before. I have never seen these pink slimes before" She says looking at the pink slime.

"There are many types of slimes out there. I don't know much about them yet, but I have encountered three types of slimes. The first one is the normal blue slime, then there are green slimes that can use magic, and finally, the pink slimes that can also use magic. That is all I know about slimes..." I said withholding some information I can't let her leave me because I'm getting hunted down by the slime Kingdom.

"I see then why is Yuko so powerful if she is just a little blue slime." She said tilting her head.

"Have you never seen a tamer before?" I responded quickly in curiosity

"What I heard that only the king can assign who can use Taming magic!! Your saying that you are a tamer?" She said while rushing and getting in my face in curiosity.

"Mrs. Ember can you please back up...Yes I am a tamer..So Yuko and I get stronger together with every battle. And Yuko has trained every day since I have tamed her" I said to her while she takes a few steps back. Her face was flush with red and her eye started to burn bright red again. Why does that happen to us? I don't like telling lies either, but I have to right now.

"Looking at Yuko she probably has 1/5 of the strength of a 1st evolution monster. Which is really good in my opinion." She smiles at me while saying that.

So Yuko is about 1/5 as strong as the Wolf beast we fought earlier...How interesting...

"Pink slime come here," I said while looking at it.

The slime quickly followed my orders and came towards me and Yuko followed behind it. Ember sat on the ground in front of me and Yuko jumped on her lap. The pink slime sat next to me in confusion.

"Mrs. Ember, would you like to get stronger one day?" I said while picking up the slime with my good arm.

"Yes, I don't want my friends to get hurt because of me one day." She said looking down at the floor.

"Then why do you use a bow," I said looking at her.

She then realized she doesn't have her bow next to her anymore.

"Because that was the only thing I was good at..."She said pouting a little.

"That's a lie... I can sense mana coming from you" I said while sensing her mana it was strong, but it was at the pink's slimes level. And if the pink slime can use wind magic like it did then she could use magic too.

"I..Can..Use..Magic?" She looked up at me and was shocked. I am guessing she never would have thought that she had the magical trait huh.

"Yea, but I don't know how powerful you are right now," I said while continuing. "Because I'm not powerful especially in magic so I won't be able to help you. Sorry."

"Thank you, Sir Satoru. You keep giving me hope" She says while smiling at me again.

At this moment Hunter starts to wake up.
