5 Showing off a bit

They both ran through the forest for a while before reaching the village. This village had been fortified for some reason. When Elizabeth neared the gate of the village a shout abruptly stopped her, "STOP RIGHT THERE! OR WE WILL FIRE!". She stopped on her tracks and let out a heavy *sigh*. She then shouted back, "Razer!!!!! It's Ellie!!!!!!!".

The guy on the wooden wall soon replied, "Yo- Ellie!!!!!!!!! Come to the gate!!!!!!!!!!". When both Saito and Elizabeth heard it, they made their way towards the gate of the village which was almost high as 15 feet.

They both came to the gate. Saito looked at the fortification. It was just a wooden wall 14 feet high and had fire torch on it. Wall didn't provide much of defense against the anti-wall type of mechanisms, but its still defendable against raids. The gate opened and four figures seemed to be rushing towards them, towards Elizabeth to be exact.

All four had leather armor and a sword on their waste. One in the leading had a stern look on his face. The others looked a bit worried and anxious. All four rushed and looked at her top to bottom, looking for visible wounds. The one with the stern face looked a bit old and he checked her clothes to see if she had gone through any fight.

Seeing that she looked fine, all of them heaved a sigh of relief. The old man with the stern look was replaced by a relived look. He then became serious and growled, "do you even know how late it is!? If you were any late, we would have gone into the forest looking for you! Didn't we always tell you that the forest is the dangerous place to be in at night countless times!? Yet why are you like this!? We were really worried about you!!!!!!".

That old guy bombarded her. She just bit her lips and quietly listened to him growl at her. The others had a concerned look on their face. The old man was more worried than others.

Saito on the side, couldn't take it anymore. "Hey you old man, you can continue your reunion talks later, can we get inside? The gate is still opened". Only then did they all notice the existence of Saito. He just stood there with a dead panther on his shoulder and wearing a weird looking clothes with no care in the world.

Reflectively they all drew their swords and pushed Elizabeth, who had yet to recover from all that growling, to behind them. And took a sword defense stance to protect Elizabeth who just recovered from all that.

"What are you guys doing!? Stop it!" Now she growled at them. They had no intention of loosening up at all. They looked at him fiercely and said, "Stay right behind us Ellie! We will protect you from this Demon!". Seeing that they had no thought of easing up, she went passed them and stood in front of them, shielding Saito.

They all went eyes wide looking at this. The old man immediately shouted, "What are you doing Elizabeth!!!!! Get back he's dangerous!!!!". Saito looked at the old man and thought, "this old man must have been a Knight, his stance is nearly perfect". Ignoring the old man's words she just stood there and said, "he saved me earlier! How could he be dangerous?". They all now looked confused and a voice escaped from them all, "huh?".

Before she could explain, Saito who was waiting on the side let out a *sigh* and said, "its too late now anyway, PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!!!!!". His voice bought them all back. They were about to ask him why he would shout like that. But before they could have the chance to ask, he dropped the dead panther and turned around. He said without turning back, "what are you all doing!? Prepare for battle and send the civilians to the safety!".

The moment he finished saying that, lot of shadows coming out of the forest could be seen. A voice from the wall shouted, "GOBLINS!!!!!!!!!!!". They now understood the meaning of what he said and shouted, "TO THE WALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!". They all turned around and was about to leave when Elizabeth suddenly asked, "Wait! Saito! What are you doing!? Get inside the wall!".

Saito tilted his head and asked indifferently, "why should I? I got a great chance to stretch and release my stress and why in the hell would I let such a golden opportunity slip?". He then turned and walked towards the direction of forest and stood 15 meters from the wall with his left hand resting on the handle of his blade. He looked at the goblins excitedly, 'They are just mere goblins, why are they afraid? Did I just over estimate them?' He thought to himself.

Just like answering his thought, a huge shadow came out of the forest to the clearing. When the shadow came out, it looked huge and had a horn on its head. It let out a loud cry, "OOURRHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!" It was an Ogre .Everyone on the wall and the ground all shook in fear. Even Saito was taken back. Never did he expect a 10 feet tall Ogre to show up. He backed up a bit before gripping the handle of the blade with his right hand and the saya with the left as he took his stance.

Seeing that Saito had no intension of retreating Elizabeth shouted, "Saito! What are you doing!? Get back here! You can't fight an Ogre head on!". Seeing Elizabeth shout like this, everyone was taken back. The old man looked at him for a moment. He then helplessly shook his head before saying, "Ellie, get to safety, I'll look after that friend of yours" he then walked out of the wall as he drew his sword. The other three *sighed* and did the same.

"Wa- wait! Where are you guys going!? There's an Ogre and lot of goblins out there! You guys can't fight them all head on! Come back!" Elizabeth shouted at them with a bit of tears in the corner of her eyes like they were going to die in this battle or something. The old man turned and said, "don't shout like we will die here! The moment things get ugly, it will be me who takes off first!" He said it so shameless the others were left speechless after witnessing the shamelessness of the old man and laughed.

The atmosphere soon became less tense. Saito who was standing in the front couldn't take it, "are you guys done chatting? There are monsters, waiting for you all to end it". His annoyed tone made their sense come back as all of them drew their swords and took their stance. The old man moved closer to Saito as he drew his sword asked him, "So? What's the plan here?". He looked serious. Saito on the other hand had a smirk on his face as he said, "Of course! You guys stay behind and kill anything I missed". His words made all those around shocked.

He didn't say much as he dashed towards the Ogre. The Ogre also Moved forward. It raised its club like weapon and brought it down on him. The moment it was a feet away from hitting him, he drew his blade and changed its trajectory by sliding his blade on the side of the club as it hit the ground.

He didn't give the Ogre a chance to breath as he slashed at its hand. He didn't stop, instead he did a spin as he came in front of it and cut both the Ogre's legs. The Ogre kneeled and cried in pain, "OOURRHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Saito didn't care for its cry as he sliced its head off, nice and clean.

All of those who witnessed him fight were shocked, even the goblins. Four moves and three strikes. That's all it took for him to totally behead an Ogre. The old man and his group had their mouths opened wide. They thought that he was acting all cocky, but......seeing that he was very skilled, they all were taken back. When they were all shocked, the goblins started to retreat back into the forest.

Saito was disappointed at the goblins. He was looking for more slaughter, but the goblins escaped into the forest without even saying goodbye. He then put his blade back to its saya and looked at the old man and his group who were yet to recover from the shock. He coughed a couple of times and asked, "what is it? Why are you all looking at me like that?".

The old man was embarrassed that he lost his composure there a little bit. But he still managed to ask a question, "just..... Who are you????".
