8 Conflict

Seeing that they started to fight, the village guards came near them, "hey guys! Cool it out will ya? We just escaped a monster raid only to end up in fighting ourselves? Come on, don't be like that" a guy with blonde hair said that with a smile on his face. Saito calmed down as he didn't want to make a commotion. He let go of his hand and turned around as he said, "sorry".

The moment he said that, a punch came for the back of his head. Saito just tilt his head to the sides as the hand went past him. He used it as a chance and grabbed the hand as he preformed a judo throw.

Clyde flew and hit the nearby wall. He then fainted from the impact. The few guards rushed over to him and checked if he was alright. Seeing that he was still breathing, they all let out *sigh* of relief. One of them gritted his teeth and said, "why did you do that!?". He then drew his sword and pointed it at Saito.

"Jason! Stop it! We all saw it was Clyde who first attacked!" One of the guard said. "Still he didn't have to hit him this hard like this you know?" The other guard said. "Look here you! I kept silent because I saw it was Clyde at wrong, but hitting him hard? As his brother, I can't overlook this!" Jason said.

The next second, Jason made a move by thrusting his sword towards Saito. Just as the sword was about to reach him, Saito moved to the side as he slid his right hand along the broadside of the sword till he reached the hilt of it. The moment he reached the hilt, he grabbed Jason's wrist with his left hand and the handle of the sword with his right hand as he twisted it and pointed towards the neck of Jason.

Jason was running cold sweat, he didn't even get to see the whole movement and yet he was on the wrong end of the sword. He just stood there with terror all over his face. He looked at Saito whose eyes had a hint of crimson in them. He became really scared as if staring at a demon. He wanted to shout and curse, but he was too afraid to even do that. He was afraid that if he made a sound the sword might pierce his neck.

Everyone in the surrounding was shocked to see his movements. It was very fast and very deadly. It was as if saying 'if i wanted you dead, you would already be in you grave right now'. They all got scared of his sudden demeanor.

Christopher came in after hearing a kid say that there's a fight going on. He came to shout at whoever it was that started the fight. But seeing that Saito holding a sword on Jason's neck and Clyde laying unconscious on the ground, he can totally guess what's wrong.

He went near Saito and said, "Master Saito, this is not the way of us warriors and you know it, so please stop this". The crimson light in his eyes disappeared. He then gave the sword to Christopher who got it from him confused. But upon seeing that Jason also collapsed, he understood why he gave it to him.

Christopher was about to apologize to him again, but he got shocked to his core when he heard his words, "Master Christopher, if you don't like me and don't want me to stay here just say it, don't do stuff like this". Christopher was about to rebutt that he didn't do anything, but Saito cut him again by saying, "I will leave the village first light tomorrow, you don't have to worry about me again".

"Bu- bu- but Master Saito! I-" Christopher was loss for words as Saito said, "I know its not you, but I don't plan on staying anymore, thank you for your hospitality, it was a pleasure to meet you Master noble Knight". He didn't say much and left the place to the tree where he was resting eairler.

Christopher was silent for a while before saying, "you guys.....will suffer for what you done later". His words sounded like a threat, but it was actually a warning. He then went back to whatever work he had, he was in no mood to drink anymore.

Back in the 7th Hell.

The lord of the 7th Hell was smiling and watching a screen in front of him which showed Saito disabling Jason. "What do you think now, Ageil? Didn't I make the right choice?" He was smiling all the while.

"*sigh* That human is someone interesting my lord, he is skilled enough but do you think he can make it happen? Your plan is flawless but at the same time the one who is going to execute that plan should be perfect, if he makes a mistake then that bastard's of the heaven will feast on him" Ageil said with a worried tone.

"Ah! Oh my! Ageil, are you actually worried about him!? How could this happen!? Did this human possess some kind of succubus magic or trait!? I gotta investigate it!" The lord of the Palace said in a serious manner as he was actually teasing Ageil.

Ageil's lips twitched hearing his lord tease him like this. Seeing the reaction on Ageil's face he couldn't help but laugh out loud and hard, "ha haha haha haha haha!!!!!!!!!!!! That look on your face! I would wait for thousand years if I can see that look again! It was priceless! And for the one who made a great contribution to make you give that look, I'm gonna make him as the main piece of my plan! Its decided!" He said while still laughing.

Seeing his lord laugh like this, Ageil's heart warmed. It was first time in centuries he saw his lord laugh like that, so he silently thanked a certain someone who is currently laying on the ground, resting under a tree.

The next morning, Elizabeth woke up pretty late. She dressed herself and went out to check on Saito. She said in her mind as she walked, 'I'll definitely find if its him or not today!". She then made her way to Christopher's house. On the way the atmosphere of the village was pretty gloomy, everyone looked down, especially children.

She reached the old man's house and knocked two times on the door. She waited for 15 minutes before the door opened. She saw that even Christopher had a gloomy face like he was not able to sleep properly for some reasons.

She asked him, "Master Christopher, do you know where Saito is staying?". Christopher returned to his senses after seeing that it was Elizabeth who came to see him, but hearing her question he didn't know what to say.

Seeing that he didn't answer her, she frowned and asked, "did anything happen? Where is Saito? Did anything happen to him?". Seeing the concern in her voice, the old man raised his eyebrow and asked, "did you already know him?".

Seeing that she showed herself up, she tried to make up a story, "well I don't know if it is really him or not, I'm going to test it today and see if its him, so can you please tell me where he is?".

Christopher had a sad face and said, "come in". He moved aside to make way for her. Seeing that the old man is calling her in, she knew there was something important he wants to say to her, so she naturally complied.

the moment they reached the living room, Christopher when on one knee as his right hand was on his left chest and he said, "I'm sorry to say this milady, but there was a small conflict yesterday at the feast and Master Saito left the village at the first light without even saying anything to anyone. He left the best dog and got some money for it yesterday and he left with it, I'm sorry I let this happen milady!" The village head guard turned into a Knight of the royal army.

Elizabeth's face dropped deep after hearing it. She started to tremble as she muttered, "h- h- he- he left?". Then she fell on the ground, passed out.
