4 The Others

As the sad, lonely demon left, I could sense more coming. As I laid my head down, one whispered in my ear," Do you really believe him? He is worthless and has no idea what he is talking about. He has no one to rely on and seeks out to children for help. But even if you tried to help, it won't work." As I lifted my head up, I saw a solid, black figure by my bed. I whispered to him," if you truly wish to be rude, then be rude somewhere else and leave him and I alone. We don't want you and we don't need you. If you want to be bullied, then you shall be bullied. Bullying others like him is not right. He had no one to rely on. All you had to do was befriend him but you couldn't even do that." After I made my decision, he cocked his head at me. He asked,"Do you truly think that he can help you? Even protect you and your siblings? He can't even protect himself. He is useless." Just when I was about to say something, the demon I had spoken to before blurted out," I am useless. At least I am willing to admit that but sadly you aren't powerful enough to go against the kids and I. We are all very powerful when we are together. They might not know it yet, but they are very useful in our dimension." As I was getting ready to say something, the dark figure dissolved into darkness again. We both let out a big but soft sigh. I laid back down by my siblings until the next morning. That morning the demon from last night woke me up again. This time he had a message for all of us.
