5 The Message

My eyes fluttered open only to see my new friend. She said her name was June. I told her my name was Jade. She said her parents murdered her in her room and then moved to West Virginia. It was terrible just thinking about it. She said the others were people who died previously in the houses past. It was a battle field, hospital, mental asylum, mortuary, then a house. So, I guessed some where from either the asylum or the hospital. She clarified, they were from the asylum. She said they were there when she was still alive. They befriended her until they found out she was afraid of them. Soon after she moved into the house, she had mind control abilities. She could talk to people through her mind, move things, and make people think things. She was very funny though. As I looked over my siblings woke up, they seen her and widened up their eyes.

"Guys it's ok. She's on our side. Only her though."

"What if she gets mad at us?" Sam asked.

"Of course she wouldn't do that. She's our friend. But, the others are not at all. They are so rude." I continued.

June looked at me confused. I explained to her why we should be friends. She agreed willingly. We could tell she had trust issues. She was so lonely. At that moment, we knew this house was our new home, we felt so comfortable now. We felt safe. But why?
