2 The Awakening

It has been a few days since the suspension of Hope. Apparently it had something to do with Henry and how he survived the fall. So far I had no problem going to my lessons so I hoped that this would continue however that seemed to be a futile belief. In the past 15 years of my life I found out that most of the human race is incredibly shallow especially the teenager. You see being born with an ugly face was not a good. I was lanky but my face seemed to be thing that turned people away from me. I had jagged uneven teeth and lazy eyes and the thickest fish lips that ever existed. (Search Mamoru Uchida).

Well besides my overall appearance and my lack of powers. I was an ordinary student and that made me abnormal in the students eyes. So far nobody picked on me so that was fine. Weirdly Roman would pick on me every time so having some peace was actually great. Apparently he snuck out of school to go somewhere. Thank god for that.

"Hey Freakazoid" An Obnoxious voice yelled at me it was a voice that has taunted me since this was everyday thing for me I just ignored it and carry on walking this was part of everyday life for me. As I was going to tale on extra step something stopped me it as if it some kind of invisible forcefield was pushing against every side of my body.

Soon a figure came in front of me it was girl. She had curly black hair with tan skin while having obvious Asian heritage she wore the Salvatore school uniform. She gave the mean girl vibes with way she was postured. This was Alyssa Chang a witch and one of my main bullies in the school.

"what do you want Alyssa?" I asked her with tired tone I really did not want any trouble right now. "Nothing nerd just if that unnatural face was as ugly I remember or if it was just a nightmare" She snarled at me before continuing " Well it is in reality" after that 'scathing' insult she was laughing with a groupie of witches.

Hope returned early from her suspension due to unknown reason however I didn't care about the reason in the slightest I was just glad that my best fried is back. As soon as Hope came into the building I feel that she did not feel happy or relieved to be back.

I was worried about what happened to her so I knocked her door. "Hey Hope can I come in?" I asked her through the door. "Come on in Noctis" She replied back to me. I did not even need to sense her emotions to notice the guilty tone in her voice.

"Hope what's wrong and don't say nothing" I asked her. She seemed broken I needed to help the only friend I have no matter what. She looked at me and sighed and relented and started spilling. "I did something reckless and now Henry and my mom paid the price for it. I need to look at these grimoires for a solution" I looked at the room I saw that there were various grimoires were sprawled around the room. Hope herself looked restless. "Let me go get you some coffee and something to eat , I will help you look at the grimoires what are you looking for exactly?" I asked with a sigh as I prepared to go downstairs to get the aforementioned Items. She looked up at me and smiled "A way to deactivate a cloaking spell"

It has been 2 days since we started researching about cloaking spells well Hope has been I was no good at researching magical spells so I was cleaning and making sure that Hope was getting breaks. There was no point in deterring her she was stubbornly independent,

"So how was the research going?" I asked as I brought in a plate of toast and orange juice for her to eat I placed it down next to her. "Still not any closer" She said to me in a morose tone. I shook my head and sat down to make sure Hope was ok.

Soon a knock resounded through the room soon a woman walked through the door. It was Hope's aunt Freya she was a powerful witch that lived in New Orleans with Hope and her mum. She is a extremely beautiful and gorgeous young woman of high stature and a slender build and dirty blond hair, carrying herself with grace and tact

"Hello Ms Freya" I greeted her she looked at me with a hint no a lot of disgust. Oh right I forgot she doesn't like me much. In her opinion the reason why Hope doesn't have much friends is because she hangs out with me. I said good bye to Hope and went to my room. I can't withstand a scathing glare from her for more than 5 seconds.

It has been a day since Hope's aunt came into Mystic Fall I avoided her every time and tried to spend time with Hope when I can but recently she was getting close with Roman. Who felt weird nowadays he still had this massive amount of hatred and deceit in him but there was glimpses of guilt and affection when he was around Hope. I didn't understand why he was feeling guilt but I knew he cared about Hope. Hope felt an attraction while it did sting Hope deserved to be happy even if its a guy I dislike.

So I steeled my courage and went to Roman when he was by himself. I walked up to him and caught his attention he insulted me. "Whats up Troll boy?" He said. Honestly I just deadpanned at him when I look at him "Look I have no idea why you hate werewolves and hate everything in general but you care about Hope and she likes you so I ask whatever your planning please don't hurt her"

The vampire looked at me in shock clearly didn't expect me to know that I knew he was up to no good. He closed his mouth and went away I tried to feel his emotions right now he was apprehensive and scared.

It has been 2 hours since I confronted Roman I was at the burn downed house for some time alone. As I was reading a book I felt something an intense malice and hatred was heading my way. I look outside to see what it was and I saw Hope her eyes were burning with hatred. The feeling of being near her was nauseating.

As I was about to ask Hope what happened she simply lifted her hand and chanted a spell. Soon I was hovering above the ground and throat was tightened in a choke. Hope just glared with hate clearly shown in her eyes.

"How dare you betray me Roman told me everything about how threatened to stake him if he talks to and how I was your prey" Hope raged at me on speaking I had no idea what she was talking about I tried to reply to her but I couldn't speak "I guess you're ugly on the inside just like the outside" She continued on as she flicked her hand before turning around. I was sent flying where I could only see Hope's back. I smashed against the wall my back and head felt impact. An blood was down my face obscuring my vision. I saw a blurry figure come in I thought it was a student as I ask for help. The figure grabbed me by the hair and pulled me up with the injured head the action felt like hell.

"You should have stayed out of the way" The person said to me. I recognised the voice it was Roman. Words couldn't came out there where just slurred. Soon I was dragged outside of the school without anyone noticing, Roman stopped in front of a car. Before handing me over to the person in the car saying "Take care of him outside of school make sure nobody finds out" Roman said to the vampire who nodded at his instructions.

Why did I do to deserve why do the weak suffer. Weak why must I be weak soon my body started to heat up and I saw something peering at me what is happening to me. Soon power started welling up
