"Was I loud?" she asked, looking at him "Yes" he replied staring at her "I'm sorry, couldn't help but hear" Zeus nodded his head and turned his attention back to the phone.

"is everything okay?" Rida asks him out of curiosity. "yes, perfectly fine" Zeus replied, getting back to his phone, she did not want him to get back to his phone until she got all her answers "you threatened someone with their life" she really was trying her luck.

Zeus smiled turning his face towards Rida to give her the attention she wanted "people love their lives more than anything, and if you want to stop them from doing anything, threaten them with what's precious"

"okay"

Rida rubbed her hands trying to stop herself from asking him questions but that was not helping, she finally asked him "can I ask you something?"

Zeus turned over to see Rida his emerald eyes softened meeting her warm caramel eyes "yes" he says staring at her "were you waiting for me outside the venue?" she asks hoping him to answer her, he stared at her before he spoke another word "Yes, I was there for you"

"because of the favor?" Zeus gazed at her in admiration "no more questions now"

The driver pulled the car, they were already at his house and Rida couldn't help herself from rolling down the glass of the car to get a clear view of the house. It is a 'BEAUTIFUL HOUSE!!'

"your house is beautiful"

"thank you! It will be OUR home"

"Huh?" "aren't we getting married?" he questions her "I can't forget that even if I wanted to, the lives of the people I love depend on it" Rida reminds him, as she marched towards the house.

'Yes, I will marry this man, I have to do that' Rida was mesmerized by the beauty of the house to even walk properly and almost fell through the steps while walking, but a tough pair of hands held her tight making sure she doesn't fall "I got you!"

"Thank you" Rida set foot in the house, and all she could see was the house screaming "MONEY" to every single piece her eyes landed on. It was well-built from the outside and perfectly furnished from the inside. It was all perfect, it would be a lie to say she wasn't mesmerized by the beauty of the house.

"get changed there's a pair of clothes for you upstairs. Upstairs second room"

"okay" Nodding him without questioning is the only thing Rida can do right now to be safe in his big ass house. Rida climbed the stairs all she could think of was her parents, they could have died because of her stupidity, and even the thought of losing them made her eyes tear up making her vision blur, there was a figure standing at the end of the stairs she quickly wiped her tears to see who it was and saw a girl giving her a death stare.

"are you the girl Zeus is getting married to?" she questions, walking angrily towards her trying to intimidate her "err... I guess I am" Rida replied as she no longer has anything to fear the girl held her anger as she had a few more questions to ask her "where are you going?"

"to get changed" Rida replied looking straight into her eyes "which room?" she asks "second room" Rida replied "second room?? he said you can go to the second room??" she asks, her eyes fuming with anger and begging to say otherwise.

"yes, he clearly said upstairs to the second room," Rida replied to the same thing, even when she clearly saw how hurt and pissed, she was.

The girl went down furiously pushing Rida aside, making her stumble on her feet, and almost falling down the stairs. "she's crazy!!"

"why are you screaming Shelly" Zeus asks as if it was nothing new. "I have been staying here with you for years Zeus, yet you never allowed me into your room then why did you allow her!?" Shelly's eyes were fuming with anger, tears forming as it was getting hard for her to accept the fact that he would never be hers. "is that even a question? she's my fiancée and she'll be my wife." Zeus was serious about marrying Rida.

"Zeus!! I was supposed to be your wife, not her! It was supposed to be ME!" tears rolled down her cheeks as she spoke to him, but it did not affect Zeus in any way "it was your imagination I never said I will marry you!"

"but you- you never said no Zeus!!" her voice broke down as she tried to speak "I will tell you now. I don't plan on marrying you, I will never marry you" Zeus was calm even when he saw Shelly breaking down in front of him.

"I will kill that bitch" Shelly turned around but was pulled by Zeus and his eyes fuming with anger "DON'T YOU DARE GET NEAR HER I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU IF YOU TRY TO HURT HER!"

"is she that important to you now? For God's sake Zeus you met her a few hours ago! You're leaving me for her??"

"yes, she is, so keep your hands off her"

"Fuck you, Zeus!"

Rida stood by the stairs hearing every single word from there, even when he said, 'he will not forgive her if she hurts her'. Maybe she was the girl who called him earlier when they were in the car, after listening to the conversation she went straight to the room.

Rida pushed the door and everything in the room was all black and white, well maintained and organized, even though she, as a girl, never organized her room this neatly and presentably. People expect girls to keep their rooms organized and everything in order but she was the only child so it didn't matter she could get away with anything. Now that they're going to live together, he will regret it and everything in his room will be messed up!

Clothes were lying on the bed for her to change into as he said, she held them up looking at them, there were more like pajamas, grey trousers, and a black hoodie and not to forget, double her size. It didn't bother her because they would be comfortable.

Rida looks at the door, someone knocking on it "yes" she replied hoping it not to be the crazy woman "you read- you look cute" Zeus was not ready for this but this is exactly the reason why he was getting married to her.
