16 MAHEEN ZAIBA

He knew that he could trust his instincts to the end, even though he could give no reason for it. This type of thinking had brought him to where he stood now. Although sometimes his instincts failed, which was negligible, he would still reap countless benefits and no visible losses by believing in them.

He had a bunch of notifications in front of him, with the last notification having two familiar options: 'Yes' and 'No'.

Shaheer selected 'Yes,' and another panel shot up.

Shaheer had not even discovered all his available features, and now he was already unlocking more.

He felt the ecstatic increase in his level, giving him power again when he heard a sweet voice saying, "Excuse me." This came as a surprise for Shaheer, as he was really conscious about people approaching him and could sense them, except for Taqarrub because it's like he does not own a presence. This individual seemed to be the same as him, with a serious lack of presence. What's more, this person even came so close to Shaheer, but he still could not feel that someone was standing right next to him.

He turned his head towards the voice and saw that the person's height was extremely short, barely managing to reach the height of Shaheer's head, even though he was sitting. Disregarding the height, the person standing in front of him had a timid expression and was wearing a scarf that looked like a Muslim hijab, covering her hair and circling down to her chin. She was an absolute beauty. The scarf did so little to hide the jade-like skin and those deep hazel eyes that seemed to hold all the knowledge in the world. It almost felt like the scarf was enhancing her overall beauty, giving her a pure and innocent look. The text floating above her head read:

MAHEEN ZAIBA (Lv.57)

SEEKER OF TRUTH

Shaheer was absolutely stunned seeing a beautiful, perfectly formed miniature. It almost felt like he was seeing a homunculus in real life by his side, and now he was focusing on the level displayed above her.

She calmed herself as she was flustered; maybe she was not used to talking with strangers.

"I'm sorry to startle you. I saw you become enlightened after reading that book, but throughout the book, you had a disappointing look on your face. I have never seen this book in this library. Did you bring it with you? If so, could you let me borrow it for a few minutes, please?" the sweet, timid voice rang out in Shaheer's head as he resisted the urge to comply with her request at that very moment.

He was extremely impressed by the girl's ability to read his emotions, as he had surely startled himself when he heard her voice. However, he never showed it on his face and maintained a carefree expression. He was also impressed by how closely she had been studying him without him even noticing her presence. However, Shaheer did not have time to praise her for her skills, as a couple of notifications followed after he heard a familiar sound in his head.
