FINDING NEMO

Shaheer had questions, and a lot of them. However, the answers were with one man - a man named 'Shayan.' He had already started his thought process, trying to figure out who that person might be and from where he connected with him. He needed to find this man and take control. He did not need to be getting favors from invisible people now that he was already in debt to an old man.

A familiar sound surrounded Shaheer's ears as a panel shot up in front of him.

As Shaheer pondered the quest and the name 'Nemo,' he couldn't help but find it amusing, considering the connection to the famous animated film. However, he knew better than to underestimate the potential significance of the quest. His ability had presented it to him for a reason, and he couldn't ignore that.

Maheen, who had been observing Shaheer's interaction with the quest panel, spoke up, breaking his train of thought.

"I know you're hiding something from me. I can see it," she said, her sweet voice resonating in the room, reminding Shaheer of her perceptive skills.

"Well, I don't mind sharing, but you have to answer a question for me first," Shaheer replied, his expression carefree.

"Is it related to whether you can tell me or not?" she asked, her voice tinged with timidity.

"Who knows," Shaheer teased, a mischievous smile playing on his lips.

"Hurry up and ask, then!" Maheen responded, her face flushed and a hint of frustration in her tone.

"Are you familiar with the word 'Abyss'?" Shaheer cunningly asked, subtly incorporating the term into his sentence.

"Sure, do you want me to define it?" Maheen asked, noticing a black color surrounding Shaheer, an indication that someone was trying to deceive her. However, she couldn't find anything wrong with the question itself.

"I see. I have bad news, then. I must keep you in the dark for your own safety, Maheen. Do you believe my words?" Shaheer inquired, his carefree expression contrasting with the intensity in his eyes.

Maheen, with her eyes of truth, could clearly see the green color enveloping Shaheer, indicating his utmost sincerity.

"I do," she replied, her face now the reddest it had ever been. This was the first time someone other than her father had shown genuine concern for her. Due to her minimal interactions with others, she rarely experienced this kind of care. A new feeling began stirring within her heart.

"I'm sorry I can't tell you anything, even though you helped me uncover it. However, if you're willing, I wouldn't mind sharing other volumes of this book if I find them. And even if I can't find additional volumes, I'll bring over any interesting books, just like this one," Shaheer offered, his expression still carefree.

"Really?!" Maheen exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

"Something tells me you already know the answer to that," Shaheer replied, maintaining his previous carefree expression.

Shaheer was not one to forget the favors of others. He believed in repaying them tenfold if possible. In just one meeting, he had already benefited greatly from Maheen. He also recognized that her beauty paled in comparison to the beauty of her soul. She was kind and pure, qualities that made him believe she would be a valuable ally in the future. While he wouldn't selfishly drag her into the world of the Abyss, he knew that, given her level and awakened status, the day would come when the Abyss would recognize her power.

"You seem to be telling the truth, so I'll be waiting for you," Maheen said cheerfully, her mood swings on full display.

'Showoff,' Shaheer thought playfully. He was aware of her eyes of truth and knew he couldn't lie in front of her, as she would detect it in a matter of seconds.

"I'll take my leave now. Thank you for having me," Shaheer said as he began walking out, with Maheen following behind.

As Shaheer stepped out of the library, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Maheen. He couldn't help but admire her genuine nature and the way she made him feel comfortable in her presence. Although their acquaintance was still new, he had a hunch that their paths would cross again, and he looked forward to it.

Thanks for the support.
