12 The Didact

I mean seriously, this place sucks so badly. We all had just landed on this dammed planet and there were knights all around. and if you had ever played halo 4, you would know about them. So you knew these guys were pissing me off.

There Forerunner bullets always hurt alot more than plasma and could break are sheilds very quickly. Than of course they had that bullshit teleport ability when I was about to kill them they would fucking dissaper to Narnia. So that was great.

It wasn't even that hard to kill them but just tedious and annoying, and trying to save the marines from dying was also super annoying but me and Grey team were able to do it intill we finaly killed all of the promethians in the area and searched intill we found an abandoned buildingsl or base hidden in some trees .

We stayed put their for the night letting the marines rest while we spared intill we grew tired enough to fall into the land of dreams.

2 hours later everyone was awake and we started the treck through the planet.

The Didact obviously knew we were here because there were swarms of promethians everywhere. He definitely had to be pissed which was good, I hoped he was pissed, fucking hate that guy.

We had to send the Marines back after they had just become distractions[which I had thought they were the whole time]and just used are dumb A.I to hack through the things we needed hacked.

But finally we had reached a point where the doors could not be hacked by a dumb A.I.

I sighed when she said she couldn't do it, this is why I was sad that we didn't have Cortana yet.

I breathed in and out. I raised my fist and muttered a sentence "add 200 to strength"

My body surged with strength and I slammed my fist into the millions of years old door knocking it off its hinges and making my team back up from the Shockwave.

I look toward my hand and it was twisted and deformed in all types of shapes. Thats just to show how strong the forerunners tech really was, even with all my strength I could barely break open a Military grade door.

We ran into the room just to see more and more promethians. Day after day, night after night we massacred the silver beings intill we finaly reached a valley with ginormous buildings surrounding us.

I than felt my head hurt immensely. It was as if something was punching me right in the temple. I went down to my knee in pain while my vision swam. My teammates yells were muffled as my consciousness finaly left me.

My eyes had opened with a weird women standing infront of me. I knew exactly who she was but I wouldn't say anything since I wouldn't want to creep her out and make her not give me her gift.

"I already know who you are child and I know who has brought you here"

"Wait wha?"

I opened my eyes from a very confusing and reaveling talk with the librarian.

Grey team was hovering around me while looking around trying to spot for anything that could have done me in.

I smile at what I'm about to do and yell "Boo" all of them scream at what they knew was my voice and turned around to see me.

Arianna sniffled and started hitting me in the chest

"Idiot,idiot,idiot,idiot,IDIOT" She yelled the word everytime she hit me.

My smile left my face as I caught her fist and pulled her into a hug.

"Sorry, just had a little headache" I mutter and she just sniffles again. Mike and Jai turned around trying to hide there sniffling that I could easily hear. I was about to comfort them and apologize as well when I heard someone speak.

"Now isn't this just...disgusting, insects being emotional" an ethereal voice echoes through out the valley where we were standing.

All 4 of us immediately lost all emotion in are faces and looked up towards the huge building seeing a big black ball sitting on top the tallest buildings ledge.

The black ball slowly crumbled around a humoiniod figure that was coverd in black and orange armor.

"So you humans have come to see if you deserve the mantle"

Grey team was confused but I immediately knew what he was talking about. The mantle of responsibility, basically the king species of the universe, and the one that watched over there other species

"Well let's begin your test" he said sarcastically as he enterd an orange portal.

He re-enterd this space right infront of Jai but he didn't get to land his hit because Mike was already on him from his 6 trying to land a kick.

The Didact scoffed and pulled Mike onto the ground with his telekinesis but he didn't stay there for long because Jai now realizing what had just happened infont of him andbpunched the Didact in his throat, stunning the man.

While he was distracted I put all my stat points into my strength and agility.

So as soon as I had seen that the Didact was distracted I immediately kicked him in the face so hard I cracked his level 18 combat skins visor.

The man stood up and looked at the crack in his visor in anger. His already deteriorated mind went to its limit seeing a dirty human crack his forerunner tech and he was absolutely livid at the thought.

His telekinesis broke out of his body In whips of power.

I put my arms up and smacked the whips away while the rest of Grey team huddled up and tried there best to survive the onslaught.

I saw this and immediately ran towards the being and punched him in his stomach almost immediately stopping the attacks and making blood spurt onto his face mask.

I lifted my leg above his armor coverd skull and dropped it upon his helmet slamming it into the ground making the hard metal ground around the valley waver like water and smash to the sides making dust explode up covering are bodys and the ginormous crater the kick had made.

The helmet was now off the last remaining forerunner and I bent down to grab his bleeding head, I brought it towards my armored face and looked him squarein his eyes.

"That was for linda" I stated before the general had a word to speak I had told him what he had done to have brought this upon him self.

I than dropped him from my gradp and while his body was plummeting to the ground I wound up my fist and sent it hurtling towards his side.

The hit landed and I immediately felt and heard cracks and breaks along his bones, the Shockwave alone made my teammates almost fly away as the Didact had just done after my fist hit him.

When the Didact had overcame the pain of his injuries he immediately tried to teleport away from the planet cursing the human who had done this to him but I would not let him.

I ran over and staked him to the ground with a metal pole my earlier kick had made from the ground.

I looked down upon him and wrapped my hand around his neck.

"Any last words fucker"

"The covenant know the coordinates to the halos have fun trying to stop any one of them from firing you peice of human garbage"

My eyes widend at the sentence and let go of his face as I started stomping on his body in anger and hatred wanting him to feel more pain than a simple neck snap would induce.

"YOU DUMB BASTARD YOU WENT AGAINST EVERYTHING YOUR RACE STOOD FOR YOU ASSHOLE" Anger took ahold of me as I pummeled the forerunner intill his whole body just looked like blood and guts stained onto the ground.

I turned towards Grey team as they looked at me with concern and confused gazes

Jai raised his hand and said "Soo.... what are halos?"
