9 Mission 1

When I get back to my room is almost close to noon already, but I still have so many times. Because of that I check everything that I have now.

"Hmm.. I only have a 17 gold and 100 merit point now." The money is the money that my parent from this world give me world, at first they give 25 gold, but I use it for meal only. In this world simple meal can cost ten to fifty silver. A gold coin is the same as a hundred silver coin. As for merit point, the Academy give us a merit point for a new student, but I never use it at all. Actually I already decide what my merit I'm gonna use for. The only thing I'm afraid is, can I handle the mission I will take. Even though I don't know what a mission I can take, but it's make me a bit of fear. In the end I never do this kind of job. The only things that I can rely on is my knowledge when I'm still in the game. I hope that I can take easier the mission.

After I done wash my body and I walk through a few building and then I arrive in Student Affairs Hall. This place is where student can pick their mission and buy a necessary supply for the mission, like potion. After a few glance what can of mission student can pick, I walk to one of the counter where I can buy a potion with my merit point.

"Welcome to the Student Care Area. Do you need anything ?" (Karla)

"Yes, miss Karla. I want to buy a recovery potion" (Rudeus) In this world recovery potion is basic necessity for Warrior. It can heal a wound and recover stamina. Even though It's will be impossible to recover from deep wound or severely injuries.

"Alright then, it will be twenty merit for one potion." (Karla)

"I will take five then miss Karla. This my student ID Card" (Rudeus)

"Alright. Please wait a few moment. Here you go five recovery potion and don't forget your Student ID" (Karla)

"Thank you miss Karla" I said to her with a nod.

Well miss Karla is one the receptionist in Student Care, what's more she is quite popular too cause she is a beautiful lady. Most of the receptionist in Student Affair Hall is female actually except the one who handling the Student Mission Area. Some of the receptionist is a graduated from the Academy and some of them is ever work in Adventure Guild too. And yes, the merit point is actually in Student ID Card. Most of the student never bring it when they train, but they must bring it when they want to accept a mission. Be it party or solo mission. If they are in party, they need to register all their party member when they accept the mission, but if you just solo, you can take the mission and then register yourself.

After I bought a potion I come to Student Mission Area to look a few easy mission. There is a few mission that first year can take, like collect herb, hunt a few monster like wolf, or make a few potion and etc. Because of that I can't decide what I'm gonna take.

"Hmm... I never though my body battle skill is already reach so high in just a few hours beating. Damn... So that's why huh that I can not feel anything at all when they hit so many times. Well, it's good things then, maybe I can take subjection mission" I said it with happy. "AI what do you think ? Which mission should I choose AI ?"

"Ding.. AI suggest master take subjection mission, the second is collect herb." (AI)

"Well seems like it's the same like I'm thinking too. Do you think that I can handle those monster alone AI" (Rudeus)

I ask that cause I want to do solo quest. Even though I can ask to join a party but i think that will quite hassle. First, I don't know who they are so that's mean I must always on guard. Second, the reward will be divide if in party. Third, I can not let them know that I have cheat inside of me. That's why I choose to go solo.

"Ding.. according to system analysis, master can handle a few monster with master body battle skill, but it will be hard if master get surrounded with many monster, because master is still level 2 Warrior and master warrior energy is limited." (AI)

"Hmm.. alright then let's take subjection mission" (Rudeus)

"Welcome to Student Mission Area. My name is Glenn. You're a first year student right. Are you need an introduction or you just want to sign up a mission immediately" ask Glenn with a casual tone.

"Hmm.. Can I hear the introduction first. And seems like you know that this the first time I ever take the mission. How do you know it mr Glenn ?" ask Rudeus curiously

"Well nothing new about that actually. I stand in this place every day so even though I'm don't know their name but I can that I remember their face. What's more if you already take the mission a few time you won't come to me. Well that's enough, let's start the introduction." mr Glenn then continue with lengthy talk "First, you can see the mission in the board above. You can pick any mission exist. There is the difficulty of mission and it's shown in star, max five star. The higher the star the higher the mission difficulty. As you can see, some of the star have color. For a white star, most of the mission is taken by first year and second year, be it party or solo. For red star the difficulty of the mission is so high that only third year and fourth year take it. Some of the party concise of second year who have fame or higher success rate can taken the red star mission too. Second, you must register all your party member if you are in party. If you are going solo you can take the mission and then register it immediately. Of course to register you need to show Student ID Card. Third, you better choose your mission wisely, when you already taken the mission it can not be canceled unless you pay the fee. If you fail the mission or pass the the time limit of the mission, you must the fee double, with merit point of course. think carefully before you choose the mission. I must warned you, many of the first year student get severely injured and even death cause they think they can complete a higher mission. I can say mission can be pay but life.. Hmmp.. Last, after you complete the mission you can come to one of the Student Mission Area receptionist and accept your merit point or a reward from the mission. If you want to sell monster hide, herb, or anything you want to sell, please go to that counter, far to right. That's all the introduction you need to remember. So are you gonna accept a mission now or you need sometime ?" said mr Glenn with casual tone.

"Thank you for the introduction and reminder too mr Glenn. Yes, I will take the mission now" said Rudeus politely and with a little bow.

"Alright. What mission you want to take then student ?" ask mr Glenn

"That mission mr Glenn" I said and pointed my finger to one of the mission in the board.
