37 The Blue Maiden
The exam day is tomorrow. Because I can't sleep so I just do meditate.

Our team member is already gather in front of east gate. Seems like the only left is Grid
"Hey you all. Where is Grid ?" (Rudeus)
"He said he forget to bring something so he go back to get it" (Darvan)
"I see." that's unusual for Grid.
After a few moment Grid arrived
"I'm sorry guys, I forget to bring something. Well seems like everyone is ready huh. Now we can wait until the exam begin" (Grid)
"Yeah" said everyone
It almost 8 o'clock and then the Instructor and some of the overseer come.
"Alright. I believe everyone is ready. Without further ado, The Exam Begins" said the Instructor loudly
After the Instructor announcement many of the study begin their mission. Because we take a High one, the Academy give us a month time to complete the mission. We can not get back to the Academy before we complete it.
"So should we start ?" (Grid)
All of nod at the same time
"Alright let's go to that place first. Let see if we have luck in that place before we search in another area" (Grid)
"Yeah." said everyone
In these few days Grid and miss Elsiya search many information where the 5 leaf rainbow might exist. And now we will go to one of those area. It's called Mountain Mischief. It's one of a deeper place in Mountain Range. That place is dangerous like Cave Valley but bigger. We want to search in Mountain Mischief Area to search the 5 leaf rainbow herb. I just hope that we won't meet any rank 9 beast before we reach Mountain Mischief Area. Even though we can handle it but it will wasted our energy. It's just a first day after all. But seems like lady hope is not with us. Just a few hours we enter Inner Region Star Forest we've met it. Horned Black Bear
"Rudeus cover us and don't let it break our formation. Hold it!!" shout Grid from the back
"Alright understand" because we don't have a proper vanguard I'm the one will fill the position
"Bam.. bam.. bam.." I keep hitting the bear with my punch
"Roar!! roar!!" the bear can only focus on me. It can not make any defense against Grid arrow
"Phew.. phew.."
"Giant Cleave Strike.." Darvan use his battle skill
"Roar!! roar!!"
As we fight for 5 minutes the bear is begin to weaken. After all I hold it from the front, Darvan and miss Elsiya attack it from side while miss Velma always aim at the blind spot. For Grid he keep shooting from a far with his bow.
"Tyrant Fist Blow.." I used my battle skill
The bear lose it's patience and then he just charge at us. The beast use his hard horned to charge
"Sh*t. Even though my body can take it but I will get injured that way." I thought and dodge the charge
"Careful" I shout
The bear then aim miss Elsiya
"Boundless Sea : Wave of the Sea.. Boom..!!" when miss Elsiya use her battle skill there is a sea wave illusion within her sword. It feels real.
The bear not only stopping his charge, its even fly a few meter.
"What the...?" my mind blank for a second.
"I never thought that she can even make that rank 9 beast fly away. And what's that ? There is something like illusion sea wave when she use her battle skill. Is that battle skill or what ?" I'm too shock to see it.
"Rudeus, Finish it" shout Grid
I wake up and then I charge to the bear "Tyrant Fist Blow.. Bam!!" and then Darvan jump and use his battle skill too "Sword Mountain Cleave.. Bam!!"
The Horned Black Bear is dead.
Even though our mission is to collect the 5 leaf rainbow herb, we still collect the bear corpse. Not only his hide and horned, I collect its meat too. I thought it's better if we collect a few meat because we will camp in the outside most of the time.
After that fight, I still thought about what happen before "What is that ? is that some kind of battle skill effect?"
Because I'm sure and I thought that it's better to not ask miss Elsiya but I can ask others right. And of course the best way to know is to ask my system 'AI'
"AI, what is that before ? Is it battle skill ?" I speak AI with my mind

"Really ? But what kind of battle skill is that AI ? How can there be something like that ?" (Rudeus)

"I see, now I understand why people called her Blue Maiden. Damn she really look some kind of Warrior from the blue sea" I thought deeply
As we keep moving, we meet a few monster beast. Mostly at rank 6 and rank 7 monster beast. But we handle that easily. As we travel deeper in the Star Forest, we enter the new Area.
