A Date

I arrive inside my room after I train like crazy for 7 days, no I mean 7 hours. I lay down in my bed and think that I need to make a plan.

"Tomorrow I will talk to Grid and see if he can give me a few point" I thought

Because I have nothing to do I eat and after that I just meditate until I sleep in my bed.

in the morning I heard someone knocking my door

"Knock.. knock.."

"Who is it ?" (Rudeus)

"It's me Rudeus." (Grid)

"Hmm... Grid is coming ? Great then. I can ask him immediately. Wait is it something wrong ?" I thought when I heard Grid voice

"Ah Grid. Wait a second" (Rudeus)

After I open the door I see Grid just staring at me..

"Grid ? Something wrong ?" (Rudeus)

I ask him nervously and then Grid just shake his head "Nothing Rudeus. Congratulation Rudeus. You've become level 8 Warrior"

"I see. Seems like he stare at me because he knows that I'm already become level 8 Warrior huh." I thought

"Hahaha.. yeah. Quite lucky I guess Grid" I scratch my head

"Hmm.. I see." (Grid)

"So why you've come here Grid ? If you need something or my help tell me." I want to ask him but I stop. So I change my question

"Nothing like that Rudeus. I want to say goodbye. I will go back to home town for a few months" (Grid)

When I heard Grid said that I'm quite shock and so I thought "Goodbye ? Is something really happen ?"

"Whoa... really ? Is something happen Grid ? How can I help you" (Rudeus)

"No it's nothing like that. I go back because I want to train with my grandfather Rudeus." (Grid)

"Hmm.. he want to train huh. Well seems like it's better to not ask then. After all I believe he has his own problem too" I thought when I heard Grid said

"I see. Well if you need my help just send me a message ok" (Rudeus)

"Sure. Alright I will leave now. See you again Rudeus." (Grid)

"See you again Grid" (Rudeus)

Grid left and I just stare at him.

After a few moment I confuse and don't know what to do. At first my plan it to ask Grid what can I do and then maybe me and him can do something but Grid has a different agenda.

The Academy is still quite empty. A second year exam just begin a few days so the Academy is really quite empty.

I walk around the Academy and still don't know what to do. I keep walking and then suddenly when I look around me I arrive in Research Department.

"This is Research Department right. Wow I don't know that I already walk so far." I thought and I just keep walking around

Suddenly I see someone familiar. I walk towards her

"Hello, miss Elsiya. Good morning" I said to miss Elsiya who just stand in front of the tree.

She look back at me and said "Good morning mr Rudeus. Why you here ?"

"Hahaha..." I scratch my head a bit and said "Well nothing much. I just walking around and then I don't know that I come to the Research Department Area"

I stand beside her and look at the tree "Can I ask why you standing here miss Elsiya ? Something special about this tree ?"

"Hm... nothing special mr Rudeus. Sometime when I don't know what I'm gonna do I just stand in front of this tree or go to Tree Garden Area"

"Hmm.. you are too huh miss Elsiya ?" (Rudeus)

"What do you mean mr Rudeus ?" (Elsiya)

"You don't know what to do." I take a breath and said "I walking around the Academy because I don't know what I'm gonna do now. That's why I don't know that I come to Research Department"

"I see. Are you not gonna ask mr Grid ? I believe both of you is a close friend." (Elsiya)

"Well, I want to ask him but it seems like he has a different agenda. He is back to his hometown. He just left this morning actually. He said he want to train with his grandfather. I hope he is okay." (Rudeus)

"I see. Well I can understand his feeling. That's why he choose that maybe" (Elsiya)

"Huh.. what do you mean miss Elsiya ?" I look at her confusedly

"Nothing mr Rudeus. If mr Grid do not told you, that means it's not my right to told you either." (Elsiya)

"Gezz.. well whatever. I believe he will told me if he need something" (Rudeus)

"Yes" (Elsiya)

Both of us just look at the tree and stay silent.

After quite a few moment suddenly miss Elsiya said something made me shock

"Hmm.. mr Rudeus, do you have anything to do for today ?" (Elsiya)

"I don't have anything to do today miss Elsiya. Do you have a plan ?" (Rudeus)

"Really ? Let's have a date then mr Rudeus. How about it ?" (Elsiya)

When I heard it, I'm shock at look at her immediately and said "I'm sorry. What did you say ?"

She look at me and said "Let's have a date mr Rudeus."

"Wha..." I'm so nervous that I don't know what I must gonna say

"How about it ? Let's take a walk around the City. Truthfully even thought it's been half year I stay in this City, I never walk around the City very much because I always stay inside the Academy" said miss Elsiya

"I,I see. Well if that's okay with you miss Elsiya, let's go then. I want to look at the City too. After all I never walk around the City too" I said nervously

"Let's go then mr Rudeus" (Elsiya)

I just nod at her and follow her.

We walk out from the Academy and begin to roam the City. I ask her if she want to take a carriage but she said no. She said that it's better just to walk around.

Many people see us walking together. Even though she is not my girlfriend, it still make me so nervous.

We talk about few things. Well she ask me about my family

"So mr Rudeus, you still have your parents right" (Elsiya)

"Yes. My Parent live in the Bark Town." (Rudeus)

"So your parent have a job mr Rudeus?" (Elsiya)

"Yes. At first my mother is selling a morning soup and my father is working at factory. But two month before I told them that they don't need to send me pocket money anymore cause I can get my own money from mission and I told them I will send them a money too. Right now, my mother is open a small restaurant and my father is the one who buy the supply for the restaurant" I said to miss Elsiya

"Hmm.. I see. You have a good family mr Rudeus" said miss Elsiya with kind of sad voice

"Huh...? Well, yeah I guess. I mean we just a normal family. Because I'm the first Warrior from my family, it make them proud I think" I said it with a confuse expression why she ask me that.

Miss Elsiya is silent a few moment after she heard what I'm said.

"Are you okay miss Elsiya ?" I look at her

"Ah.. I'm fine mr Rudeus. Sorry. I'm just.. remember something from the past."said miss Elsiya with a little smile but at the same time with a sad voice

"I see. Well we are already walking around the City so much. We go to Adventure Guild, the market and even this noble residence to look around. Do you have any place you want to go next miss Elsiya ?" (Rudeus)

"Hmm.. nothing in my mind mr Rudeus. Let's just take a carriage then" (Elsiya)

We take a carriage and the carriage drive around the City.

"I want to ask if something happen to her family but I know that it's better to not ask her about it. Even if I know I believe I don't know how to answer and I an't do anything about it."

So inside the carriage the only thing we talk about is my adventure, her research and my family.

In the afternoon we back to the Academy

"Thank you for your company mr Rudeus" said miss Elsiya with a little bow

"Hahaha... It's fine miss Elsiya. I'm the one who should say thank you." I bow at her

"Well I will back to my room then miss Elsiya. See you again miss Elsiya" (Rudeus)

"See you again mr Rudeus" (Elsiya)

Just I want to walk miss Elsiya called me

"Mr Rudeus." (Elsiya)

I look back at her and said "Is something wrong miss Elsiya ?"

"Hmm.. Could you accompany me again if you have a free time" (Elsiya)

I smile at her and said "Sure. Anytime you want miss Elsiya."

She smile and nod at me.

I nod at her and walk back to my room.
