1 1. Prologue

Darkness

It's very uncomfortable to wake up in complete and utter darkness without your favorite pillow, not on your familiarly soft bed and especially without your favorite pillow. But I woke up and in complete utter darkness not knowing where I was. I could feel my body but it felt far more lighter than anything ever. I should be scared as hell but I didn't feel scared.

"What the heck happened? Where am I? The last I remember is sleeping and then...well being here..", I could hear my own voice in the deafening silence that surrounded me.

I tried to look around but found that there was nothing around me, not even a speck of light. I couldn't even feel the ground under my feet and no strings attached to me. It felt like I was drifting in the air.

I couldn't feel hunger, thirst anything. I mean no slightly parched throat, no slightly empty stomach nothing...

Darkness is a very interesting thing, you see for those who fear it every second feels longer than death and for those that don't it just breeds ...melancholy. I couldn't help my thoughts as I drifted who knows where...

"Will I ever return home like this?", nobody answered.

I never really fit in anywhere, had a family but always thought they were better off without me. Friends but best friends; never had one. I was a total loser who did nothing but rely on his inheritance to watch movies, read books and game all his life...', I sighed at my own depressing thoughts.

The darkness spread out infinitely and I didn't know when it would end or if it would. I didn't feel tired or sleepy. After who knows how long, I could finally see a ray of light ahead.

I almost smiled at it but the ray expanded and the next thing I know it was a giant ball of light and that was all I could see. I thought that if this was reality then I should have heard something, anything but nothing. I could hear no sound, feel no heat and even at such a close distance my eyes didn't sting.

I could see the giant explosion happening right in front of me which strangely reminded me of an old documentary I had seen once.

"SHIT! Is this?...no I AM seeing THE FUCKING BIG BANG.."

The ball expanded at an exponential rate and I could see different color and lights inside the massive epicenter. A blue window opened up in front of me which made me freeze for a variety of reasons.

Reason 1 : The window read

{ Infinity Energy }

[The energy that shaped the fundamental things in the world. These will become the infinity stones. Space, Time, Mind, Soul, Reality and Power.]

"Great I am not only going mad..but I going mad in Marvel World. The hell is wrong with me.."

Reason 2 : There were a few light beams shooting everywhere. One of the energy beams turned right towards me which almost made me curse. I couldn't move around in this place; from my position so I just stared at it right through the blue window thinking that finally I would wake up.

The light hit me and I felt like someone just pierced countless thin needles all over my body all at once. Instinctively I wanted to scream due to the pain but it disappeared just as soon. The next moment came the darkness but this time I didn't keep my eyes peeled for light. My eyes closed before I could help it.

Before my eyes closed though I saw light explode shooting off colored lights like a giant firework..the most beautiful of them all and I couldn't help but say sleepily.

"Awesome!"
