25 Transformation

Once again, the darkness of the night won as the sun shone its last ray of sunlight onto the boundless Archaic continent and parted away like a defeated Emperor or king giving up his throne. Even though the sun had already fallen behind the horizon and disappeared, but its warmth still lingered behind in the air as though it was trying to remind people that it wasn't over and it will be back.

Magical beast forest

The stars in the sky were non-existent as a pitch-black curtain draped over the sky of the magical beast forest. The darkness was so thick that it would be impossible for ones to see their own finger or hands without a torch or a lit object. The leaves of the trees were swaying back and forth as the cold breeze of the chilling wind blew past them. The night was silent, and all the magical beasts went to sleep or hide in their cave as though the can feel the hazy ominous feel in the air.

Inside the small cave, Sylvia and Scarlet were looking at the unconscious Longwei While his body was still transforming. Because the darkness had engulfed the small cave, it was impossible to see the expression on their faces. However, it couldn't hide the anxiety, fear, worry, and hope in their shining eyes. Due to the fact both of them had dark vision, they were able to clearly see Longwei's body transforming. They stood there silently listening to the bone cracking sound of Longwei as his body was going through a major transformation. Unfortunately, Longwei's mutation had some complications. His body was changing into something hideous and seemed like it would explode at any giving time as the blood and essence of the two dragons were too potent and pure for its body to handle. What he didn't know before trying to refine the blood and essence of the two little dragons was that Sylvia and Scarlet possessed the purest dragon bloodline even if they were placed into the higher plane amongst the pureblood dragons. Can't blame him for that or them because not even the two small dragons knew how powerful and pure their bloodline was yet. Their bloodline was so pure that only the first Dragon ever being born known as the Dragon God-Emperor and the current supreme ruler of all dragons was able to top them in term of the purity of their bloodline. This is one of the reason the pair of two little dragons twins is known as Primordial Divine Beast rather than a just divine beast.

*Buzzzzzzzzz*

While Longwei's body was still ongoing its transformation, the gamer's Godship within his sea of consciousness suddenly gave a loud buzzing sound while the circular lines on the cubic circuit board sent off a white light throughout his whole body. Longwei's body that is laid down on the ground started to float up and stopped mid-air. His whole body was covered with a white light like an angel or celestial being descending upon the Mortal Realm. The white light on his body caused the small pitch black cave to turn to into a white room. Some of the white light even escaped outside through the small holes that were on cave's entrance like a white laser beam. His pale white skin began turning translucent while his blood pressure is rising drastically beyond a normal human's limit. As Longwei's body was floating in the air, a crown made of golden light was flickering on his forehead. Afterwards, the flickering golden crown sent off various golden lines that spread out to all of his limbs and his veins became visible to naked eyes as it turned into golden veins spreading from his head to his toes. All of his body was engulfed with this golden lines forming a huge array of a network with the golden crown as the center or the generator. His dragon's transformation slowed down and was being altered by the golden lines sent by the gamer's Godship. The golden lines kept on moving in every part of Longwei's body where the transformations were taking places while altering them from their initial form as though it possessed a consciousness or a life of its own. The golden lines kept on flowing through Longwei's body and reshaping his transformation for half an hour until it disappeared with the white light as the small cave succumbed to the darkness once again.

The next day

I slowly opened my eyes and rose to my feet while looking at two little dragons that were standing in the corner of the cave next to the entrance as though they were standing guard the whole night while I was asleep. My vision was little blurry and felt a little dizzy but I was still able to identify them.

"I had this weird dream last night. I dreamt a dragon's tail was coming out from my tailbone and horns were coming out from my forehead. "

"Oufffff that was a scary dream. I can't imagine me looking like that. There's no way I would be able to walk like that in public in the human society." I said to myself with a deep sigh of relief.

"......"

"........"

It took me a second before I can clearly see them as well as the expression on their faces. I saw the two little dragons looking at me as if I was a ghost or an idiot.

"What is it?" I asked

However, they both refused to answer me back as their eyes were glued on my body. I started to get curious and check my body as well. My body felt the same as usual so I didn't think there was something wrong with me. However, when I checked my body, I froze from the sight of it. Both of my hands were covered with black-silver scales from shoulders, upper arms, forearms, and fingers. My nails become longer and sharp like a small knifes. Unlike my upper arms, my forearms were filled with some small draconic spikes. Right now, I was absolutely naked and could clearly see all the changes that happened in my body. My back was engulfed with the same dense layer black-silver scales with a row of small spikes that ran down my spine while my stomach and chest remained almost the same as before. The black-silver scales also covered my lower body. From my waist to my lower leg and feet.

On my back was a pair of black wings running from my shoulders to my lower back. The pair of wings were bat-like, and the bone structures were clearly visible. A long iron whip-like tail sprouted from my tailbone and ended in a curved tip with a dense layer of small spikes. My whole body was completely covered with this tough and shiny scales except for my face. The black-silver scales covered my body like a black silver armor. The scales were shaped like teardrops, with two long sides and two short ones as well as a very short fifth side that attached to my skin. The scales overlap neatly with each other. There is this tiny cavity in the surface which permitted them to fit into each other while allowing perfect movement of freedom. It was truly beautiful.

My hair was devilishly Red which surprised me because I thought it was going the same as the draconic scales on my body. There were also two small horns on my forehead. Despite my body went through this major transformation, it felt so natural as though I was born like this. I couldn't see the color of eyes but I could sense something different about them. My eyesight somewhat became clearer.

With delight and surprise, Sylvia and scarlet flew up to my shoulders.

"Big Brother, you've succeeded." Said Sylvia with a happy tone.

"Hum.", nodded Scarlet happily in order to agree with Sylvia's claimed.

However, I was still contemplating the changes that happened to my body and didn't answer them right away. After I calmed my mind, I could sense that my body was now far stronger than it had been in the past before the transformation. Thinking back to the pain that I had to suffer for my body to become like this, I couldn't help but shiver. I was still in shock because of my body's transformation. I thought my body would stay the same after I'd refine the blood and essence of the two dragons. Nonetheless, I began to grow excited because I feel that my body is filled with boundless of power. Besides, appearance means nothing in this barbaric world but strength.

"Was it supposed to be like that," I ask the pair of twins. I truly didn't expect that change.

"Well, we aren't sure because we have never seen a person refine the blood and essence of a dragon before. We only knew that it is forbidden to give it away and the consequences a person that refine the blood and essence of a dragon will suffer." Said Sylvia with an apologetic look on her face.

"Let's forget about it for now," I said while taking a shirt from my inventory in order to cover my lower body as my pants didn't fit me anymore. Before I left to the magical forest with my parents, I hide some my clothes in my inventory as well as some of my fathers because I was the one carrying its small bags of clothes when we got to the forest. After I finished covering my lower body, I moved my draconic tail away and sat down on the ground in a meditative stance. Some part of wings were just laid down on the ground. Without wasting any time, I started to inspect my sea of consciousness where the Gamer's Godship was located. I was completely astounded when I saw the changes within my sea of consciousness as well. Before it was only the small cubic circuit board known as the Gamer's Godship floating inside my sea of consciousness, but now it seemed like it has some neighbors. There were six rounds translucent objects hovering next to the Gamer's Godship with it in the middle. One of them was like a crystal ball of fire shining brightly as though it were the sun. The one next to it contained a large amount of densely cluster Earth elemental essence while giving off earthen rays of light around it. Each of them possessed a different color of magical elemental essence inside of them such as a green mist that represented the wind elemental essence, the next one was yellow with lightning electric spark coiling around it, and one with an ice cold aura around it. As for the last one, it was pitch black and a black luster smoke was emanating from it.

Feeling the boundless power contained within each of the of elemental magic essence cores floating around the Gamer's Godship, I couldn't help felt extremely happy and surprised at the same time. Each one of them was emanating a different light such as Red, green, dark etc... Each represented the essence of a magic element.

'It seems like I started to become more like a beast rather than human because those are clearly magical beast cores hovering around the Gamer's Godship.' I thought to myself. Even though they looked a little different than the actual magical beast core but they are close. After all that, my mind returned to reality as I opened my eyes.

"All windows stat," I whispered to myself. I could have opened my stat window one at a time, but I was so eager to see the progress that I have made after the transformation that opened all of them at once.

Out of a thin air, a blue screen materialized in front me

"What the heck." I was dumbfounded when I saw all those things. If I remember correctly, I didn't have all those skills. Not only, have all windows stat updated. I don't know if those changes are the result of the Gamer's Godship level up or because of the blood and essence of the two dragons.

"How strong are you now a big brother?" While I was lost in thought about the new stat window, Sylvia's voice rang out within my consciousness.

"Right now I'm a 7th rank late stage warrior/mage, but I feel more powerful than that," I said while sensing the boiling power within my body.

"There is only one way to find out," I said while moving toward the cave's entrance as fast as a streak of lightning.

"Bang"

Clenching my fists I delivered a powerful blow to the cave's wall entrance. With an Earth-shaking sound, the small mountain shook violently as the cave's wall entrance was blast open. My arm pierced all the way into the stone and felt like so easy like I was piercing my arm into a butter. My arm was covered with draconic scales, and I didn't feel any pain at all as if there was a small metallic glove on my hand.

"Such an incredible and tremendous physical power." I felt that physical power is at least dozen times stronger than before the mutation.

"It's time to see what creatures hide in the mountain range ahead," I said with a devilish smile on my face.
