26 Red Flame Monkey

By the time I step outside of the small cave, it was already morning. The rays of sunlight had thus filtered through the leaves of the trees from above, flowing through the gaps like water, lighting every blade of grass and plants.

Everything was the same, yet felt different. Due to my draconic transformation, I couldn't feel the warmth of the sunlight as its rays touched my skin or scales. Unlike before, my sense of touch has become more dulled due to my scaly skin. Nonetheless, I was still thrilled because aside from the tremendous increase in physical strength and the other mind-blowing abilities, the draconic transformation has also brought me excellent senses of sight, smell, and hearing. For example, I could see a small insect such as an ant from on a tree a 100 meters away. With such details, it's as if I'm using a magnifying glass. In other words, my new eyesight allowed me to see something tiny from afar and be able to describe it with accurate details, it's something I wasn't able to do when I was a regular human. There was something extra about my eyes that I can't describe which allowed me to control my vision. Apart from that, my amazing sense of smell allowed me to determine the directions of a slight odor from miles away. Not only that, I could hear sound frequencies that I wouldn't able to perceive when I was a regular human. Also, without using the mini-map, I could actually sense the magical beasts in my vicinity and even know how much of a threat they posed to me from their aura. It was truly a magical feeling.

"It's time to go," I said with an indifferent smile on my face. After my draconic transformation, I was booming with confidence. I felt like 'King Kong ain't got nothing me on me" at this moment'

" Swiiish." With a gentle flap of the pair of wings on my back, my body rocketed into the air. I didn't have to learn how to fly, it was like everything came natural as though I was an experienced avian creature even though I just got this pair of wings. I remembered when Sylvia and Scarlet hatched, they were unable to fly. They ate a lot until they were able to gain the strength to lift off. As they became stronger, they became better at flying and were able to fly high and fast.

Without taking any time to enjoy the feeling of the wind crashing into my face, as well as the superb feeling of flying for the first time, I spread my wings and flew towards the mountain range ahead at an astonishing speed because there was only one thing going through my head which was to battle a formidable magical beast to test my physical strength. My hands were itching for a fight and I was desperate to get one, and if I couldn't win the fight or the magical beast was more powerful than I anticipated, I would just fly away, unless that damn beast is an avian creature then I will be screwed.

After flying for more than half an hour. I finally made it to the top of the mountain range where the high-level beast resided. For some reason, my maneuverability was top notch as though I have been flying all my life. I slowly descended to the ground and continued on foot. Unfortunately, Sylvia and Scarlet went inside my Pet space which meant I was on my own. They were both breaking through the 7th rank. According to them, it is like a slight evolution as they would be able to speak in a human tongue after they broke through the 7th rank which wasn't applicable for any magical beast except for the ones with a strong and noble bloodline.

I carefully walked into the mountain range while constantly scanning my surroundings. I stopped using the minimap because I have realized that by using it, my reflex and reaction speeds would drastically decrease which isn't a good thing. Surprise attacks, as well as the unexpected, is a great way to sharpen my senses. My alertness has risen to the highest level while moving forward because I haven't seen any low-level magic beast in the mountain range which isn't a good sign. A huge mountain peak such as this one is usually filled with low-level beasts or some mid-level magical beast, however, this one is void of any beasts as though it is a forbidden zone.

" Roaaarrrr!"

Right when I was approaching to the deeper part of the mountain peak, an angry roar filled the air.

'What a terrifying roar, this is definitely not something a 7th rank magical beast can make. That damn beast must be an 8th rank.' I thought to myself. Nonetheless, I did not back off and carefully advanced as I followed the direction of that roar.

As I got closer,

Boommmm!

With a loud sound, a huge red shadow wildly ran out from deep within the mountain shattering numerous trees in its path without any care while charging straight toward me.

"It finally decided to get out from its lair," I said while moving forward. Detecting it, I was momentarily startled but nothing else. I knew it was right ahead because I could sense and smell its bloody aura from miles away. No wonder there wasn't any type of beasts in the surrounding areas because even I felt a slight chill run down my spine when it roar.

*Rumble!"

The Earth tremble as though thousands of beasts were running towards me as the red shadow was getting closer.

The next second, I could clearly see its true appearance. The red shadow was actually a huge red monkey. An enormous red flame color monkey with a head about 8 meters big. His body was covered with a red scaled armor giving off a terrifying vicious aura. Its face was truly hideous. Furthermore, on the top of his forehead, there was a sharp red horn sticking out. His whole body was red in color. It seems like its body was forged with the toughest steel, while a fiery energy glimmered across its body.

An unusual rare species possessing a slight trace of ancient red Dragon bloodline which allowed them to be considered quite formidable amongst magical beast. Aside from having a strong body and powerful physical attacks, the red flame monkey is able to exhale fire in a twenty-five-foot cone from its mouth as a type of fire breath. Its dragon's horn is an extremely powerful weapon and is rarely used unless in a life and death situation. It is also one of its unique characteristics due to its dragon's bloodline.

Suddenly, A blue screen pop up in front of me while I was running toward the monkey.

I inquired some information mentally about the red monkey from Violet. Now that the Gamer's Godship has risen to level 6, I was able to get the information that I want such as a slight resume rather than just giving me the whole history as well the complete window stat of a magical beast.

Looking at the Red Flame Monkey rushing toward me while showing its ferocious teeth to me. I couldn't help but smile a little as my blood is seething with excitement. It's like I have inherited Scarlet's thirst for battle after refining her bloodline.

"Ok big guy, let's see how strong you truly are." After saying that, I flapped my pair of wings to increase my speed and dashed forward, crashing directly into the red flame monkey.

"Roaarrr."

Looking at me that was rushing towards it, instead of running away from him, the red flame monkey became mad as though I have stepped on its dignity. I clenched my fist tightly until it made a cracking sound. When the distance between me and the monkey was about two meters, the monkey jumped up in the air and aimed its claws right at my head. A powerful wave of energy was emanating from my fist as it clashed against the monkey's stomach.

*bang*

The Heavenly Red Flame monkey and I crash into each other. This was the most typical and most primitive method of fighting amongst magical or ferocious beast. The intense collision caused the surrounding woods to tremble as if there is an Earthquake.

We rammed into each other as if two small mountains had just smashed into each other. If I were to just compare ranking power, the heavenly red flame monkey was slightly stronger than me or a level higher than me. Nonetheless, it was still no match for me in term of physical strength. After my draconic transformation, my qi and blood have become stronger and stronger, my body has drastically strengthened as well. Even this damn powerful monkey couldn't compare with me in terms of raw strength. Not to mention, fighting head-on with a strong magical beast was just the thing I was looking for right now.

The Heavenly Red Flame monkey was sent flying away by the impact and left a trail of broken trees along the way as well.

*boom*

The Heavenly Red Flame monkey hit the ground heavily, causing huge smoke and dust to rise from the ground.

As for me, I steadily landed on the ground because of my pair of wings after I was blown away as well. However, I didn't step forward because I clearly didn't believe that that attack was enough to cause any big harm to the heavenly red flame monkey.

"Roaarrrrr."

Sure enough, a powerful angry roar resounded from the midst of smoke and dust, and huge fluctuations of fire magic could be sensed. As the smoke and dust are blown away by the Heavenly Red Flame Monkey, I could clearly see a huge ball of fire the size of twenty-five feet shaped cone condensed from its mouth.

*Fwoooshhhh*

The Heavenly Red Flame Monkey spit out a few fireballs which were flying towards me at a high speed.

Before the fireballs could even hit me, the wings on my back started flapping and my body immediately flew up into the air. The Heavenly Red Flame Monkey became more enraged as it continues to spit out more fireballs towards me in the sky. Looking at the enraged monkey, I simply displayed a teasing expression on my face because it couldn't get to me while I'm flying in the sky. Also, I just wanted to know how strong my physical strength is but that damn beast got mad easily and started to spit fireballs instead of fighting like a real beast.

"Damn it, I dare you to come down right now and see how your father will roast your balls." While I'm looking at the monkey's struggles, I suddenly heard an angry voice yelling at me. I instantly froze for a second, that damn hideous monkey knows how to speak. Its dragon's bloodline isn't as thin as I thought. The monkey started to jump up and down while scolding me. It must have hated the fact that he isn't able to fly.

"You can talk, "I said with a surprised look on my face.

"Of course, your granddaddy can talk. Now get down you stupid paragon coward." Said the monkey while continuing to spit out balls of fire towards me.

This damn monkey was truly rude and what the heck is a paragon. I was just trying the spar with it, I didn't even activate my game on skill.

"If you don't want to get down voluntarily, then I'll have to shoot you down. I didn't want to use that but you left me no choice." Said the monkey while its horn starts to shine and a bunch of obscure and complex patterns appeared on it. At the same time, an ancient and formidable energy emerged from it.

"Heavenly spirit Flame."

"Take that you bastard, that's my innate and unique skill, a flame reinforced with intelligence." Said the hideous red monkey with a mockery smile on his face.

Seeing that, I was completely dumbfounded, surprised and a little scare because I felt like my body was being locked on by a mysterious energy that came from the red monkey's horn, it was like was being locked on by one of those locks on radar systems back on Earth which allowed it to follow a selected target. I am clearly aware that I'm being locked on by that weird power coming from its horn, I tried to fly in another direction, and nonetheless, I could still feel that power locked on to me.

I stopped flying and land on the ground. I stayed calm and composed while looking at the monkey in front of me. Its horn started to condense huge fireballs, three times bigger than the previous ones.

"If it's like that, then it's time for me to get serious with you," I said while lightning electric sparks started to coil around my body like a serpentine electric spark.

"Reaction and speed are not bad, but you lack decisiveness young paragon. As for you little red, stop this because you can't beat him if he truly gets serious." Suddenly, a voice rang out above the mountain I was fighting.

The next moment, I felt the space ripple a little and slit open as an old man came out from it as though he came from the void.
