1 The Beginning
Alex wakes up warily and gets ready for school when he notices that his mom hasn't come in to wake him up. he decides to check the time on his phone and finds out that he is late he rushes to go and wake up his mom but.... he doesn't find her anywhere in the house. he checks his phone and decides to text his best friend, Rose. he notices that there is 20 unread messages and groans knowing that they are all from Rose and that they'll be long.
Rose: ALEX ALEX HELP THEY ARE GONE THEY ARE ALL GONE!
Alex: Rose hold on and calm down. what happened
Rose: ok so I woke up and went to go eat breakfast to find that everyone in my family us gone
Alex: weird that happened over here too. do you think that they just left to go get some things?
Rose: no cause my sister doesn't like to leave the house and my brother has to go to work in an hour so he is usually busy.
Alex: Rose I'm going to your house. Don't leave.
(30 minutes later)
" I'm here. where are you?" says as he enters her house without knocking. replies with "I'm in the kitchen making us cereal cause I'm hungry and I thought you would be too." Alex sits down while saying thanks and decides to get his phone out and look on the news. "it seems that this is global so not just us. I wonder if our friends are all right." says Alex as he finds a news article saying that all adults meaning people 25 and older have disappeared. he wonders how someone got this out if most of the adults are gone and realizes tat it must be a intern working at a news station "let's get ready to go find some people and answers." Alex says to Rose as he finishes his cereal. "Alright let's go" says
Rose as she leaves the table to go and get properly dressed.
(2 hours later)
Alex is driving in a car with Rose and a couple of friends consisting of Jake and guy who has a rivalry with Alex, Levi who is vary determined, And lastly the duo consisting of Erica and Katie who are both friends that are courageous in every way.
they get to the school and decide to take over a part of it while making a base of operations.
"OK guys we need to find out what happened and why" Alex says to everyone. "well maybe it's because your fat face scared everyone away" Jake says has he sticks our his tongue. Alex wants to slap Jake silly but decides not to since he has to continue thinking "this is serious Jake understand that we are all alone." says Alex. "Maybe I can answer your questions." a random man says as he appears out of thin air (think of it has goku's instant transmission in the abridged version) "THE FU-!" the man puts a finger on Alex's mouth "No cursing kid. So listen closely and ask questions at the end. you have all been chosen along with 100 million other kids. you all have the power to "level up". they way it works is you convert a creature's soul into energy and you then consume this energy to increase your strength. we also introduced some "new" animals so be careful of that. now any questions?" the man says. Alex raises his hand and asks a couple of questions. "Who are you? Why did you do this? and what kind of creatures did you add?" the man replies with "I am a destiny but you can call me Luke and we don't have a name. I can not tell you why we did this just yet. You must grow in strength to know why. for your last question let's just say that well you know about them but they shouldn't exist. to name a few that I'm sure all of you should know about are Dragons and Phoenixes."
