The rixis clan's time so far

The Jackrixis have had a wild time so far from rising to the tribal era to having multiple gods they worship to new tribes and clans popping up.

So how has our old friends at the different major clans been doing so far well starting of let's look at the physically strongest the Crimson Guard clan.

The Crimson Guard may not have the most numbers, but they're seen as the wrecking balls of the rixis and the ones you call in to crack some skulls. Any walls or weapons will break on their fists while they hold a large grin fixed to their face as they revel in the battle.

They mostly had a calm experience, with the biggest change being that for food or weapons, they would lend themselves to those who paid the best. So if a none clan controlled tribe was needing help, they may pay for one of these red rocks to help out.

Although they were very brutal and had a love of blood, the Crimson Guard were actually quite nice they never suppressed the weak and only wanted to fight the strongest foes and the vilest of beasts

They didn't need to pay for you to live in their lands they didn't even care if you were plotting against them since they were the strongest. Anything you throw at them, they beat to a pulp, and then they'd find you and throw you around for not being honourable.

So for now, they found themselves well fed and either liked or hated by most other rixis and were seen as. The weird friendly 7ft tall hulking neighbours you could pay to knock out a guy you don't like.

Going on to the next clan, we have the Sand Striders who were, at this time, the most richest of all the tribes and clans. This was thanks to the metals they found in the desert that they then bartered for food and other materials.

At this time, no one else knows how to get these metals, so the Sand Striders have a complete monopoly of copper weapons. The Blues were working night and day to get these weapons out, and they were being sold for 10 times what they were worth.

The leader and elder of the Sand Striders were very happy with this, so they convinced some more Blues to come over to them. But also sent out explorer's to try and find more deposits of these hard rocks as they called them.

From the desert to the sea, the Blooded Hydra clan had to deal with something they had never experienced before, which was a tsunami. It wasn't massive with it not even being over a meter tall, but it still was a shock they weren't prepared for.

The fish they kept in pools either escaped or shot down to the bottom to hide, and the rixis only had a couple of minutes to react and respond. Children were quickly evacuated to the tree ls closest to them as they sheltered on higher ground. While the clan scrambled to save what they could and then ran to high ground, sadly, not all survived when the wave came like those who were far out at sea.

A lesson was learned on this day that the sea was something powerful and needed to be respected. While also showing how little they knew about the world they were in and that anything could show up.

Now, onto the Mountain Slammers clan who for now had a break in attack by their enemies, so they went right back to business and contained to hollow out their mountain.

Their mountain was 75 miles wide and 3,500 m tall, so not a small mountain and not the largest either. It would take them many generations to completely take over the mountain and then make it a well fortified home.

This was the main reason why they were so concentrated compared to other clans. For now, they had more than enough space and only needed enough time to develop before needing to move to another mountain.

One thing that did change for the mountain slammers was that they started to take much more time and pride in what they built. Now, it was still stone age craft, but even on earth, they could create some beautiful and unique architecture.

Instead of having jus plain stone walls, they now incorporated different designs and styles and experimented on different looks.

We then go back to the land of grass to the Harvester clan, who started to dabble in creating and mixing different mushrooms and plants. Now, they didn't just make poisons but were also looking to see if they could make other useful concoctions.

They still did what they are used to hunting big beasts using ranged weapons and poison along with different strategies. But they were also moving in the lane of alchemy and truly embracing nature.

They also seemed to have a small rivalry with the Crimson Guard now as they wouldn't fight them head-on. No one had died yet beside a Crimson Guard getting tranquilzed and needed to be dragged back home.

More towards even more grass was the Wild Wings clan and their jungle abode, in which they had now fully integrated the Venexs into their culture and life. From the age of 5, a young male or female would get their Venexs companion and would then stay together until one died. If the rixis died first, which they usually did because of their life span at the moment. Their Venexs would mentor other young rixis companions but wouldn't get another themselves. Then, after some time and they get older, they would return to the elders of their race to mate and protect the new generation.

As for how that bond worked, the Venexs would be used similar to eagles or pigeons in that they would give messages or items to others. Sadly, they didn't have written language, so it mostly worked that the Venexs would take them to their companion.

But compared to eagles and definitely pigeons, they were much faster, stronger, and smarter. It was a very unique and treasured relationship that was built between a Jackrixis and it Venexs companion as neither was a subordinate to the other. Which is why they weren't called pets as the Venexs were too intelligent to be treated in such a way.

A bond like this allowed the Wild Wings to hunt more effectively and efficiently, allowing them together to be great explorer's and scouts.

The last two clans of significance were the Frost walker clan and the Apexian order clan, with the first being rebuilt after they're retreat from the winter forest once it was taken by the hounds. After the hounds wars, they went back to their ruined homes to rebuild and grow and that they did.

They were now back to full strength with their usually multi layered thick clothing of the animals they hunted. After the war, they now saw themselves as the wardens of the forest, snow, and ice. It was their duty to roam the frost covered land to make sure no new enemies go unnoticed.

As for the Apexian order, they were in full shaman mode and going from tribe to tribe shanting the greatness of the gods. While also now warning others of the evils that hide in the darkness and edges of their lands.

They did what you can imagine screaming in other faces. Maybe a little spit drops on the cheek while hyping up the rixis Pantheon.

Let's not forget these are the most zealous of the belivers, so sometimes they may go overboard like sacrificing an animal or too.

For now, their aim was to roam the lands from sea to jungle and make sure everyone was at least on the same page.

Which was if you're not a full beliver, that's fine but no disrespectful attitude towards them but also death to all heretics who which to destory the rixis race and their gods.

So yea, it seems like everything was mostly going well as they moved forward and slowly progressed. Many forms of trade were starting to form, such as architecture, alchemy, black smithing, and their version own version of falconry and much more.

Clans are starting to take form, and I'm sure you can see what they will thrive at in the future.

Also, I've got an idea for a patreon or something similar, but instead of getting early chapters. You'd get info on the charhcters and the world, my idea being about 5 or 10 chapter for each candidate to flesh out their characters. let me know what you think in the comments, and thanks for reading.
