9 Captain Smoker vs Nezu...
Nezu was horrified at what he had just said and began to pray to the mighty sky dragon deities that Luffy would survive this ordeal. Just then, out of the blue and before the sword could touch Luffy's neck, a bolt of lightning came out of the sky and struck the platform where the clown and Luffy were moments ago.
"LUFFY!!" Nezu called out in fear that her new friend was no more only to see him standing in front of a flaming broken down platform and dusting off his straw hat while laughing like nothing was wrong.
"Would you look at that, I'm alive hahaha!" Luffy then promptly puts on his hat and smiles broadly.
{Were my prayers answered?!} Nezu thinks to herself in awe as she gawked at Luffy then shook her head and called out to the crew, "we better hurry, that little show was bound to have drawn the Marine's attention and we need to leave before–"
Just then a bunch of smoke made its way towards them, Nezu quickly took action by summoning a strong gust of wind with her uninjured wing and blew back the smoke.
"Captain Smoker I presume? Due to your strange abilities I take it you have devil fruit powers…" Nezu spits his name out like venom, "trust me I'm not like anybody you have faced before so leave us be and take these scum and we won't cause you anymore trouble."
The guy named Captain Smoker looked at Nezu coldly, "Why would a Draconian protect Pirates? Answer me that honestly… then I will let you and your crew go."
Nezu smirked and she knew she could answer this with confidence, "This crew is my family… and there is a human in this crew that I can't allow to die."
Captain Smoker nodded, apparently satisfied with her answer, then turned to his men and said, "I'll take these three to their ship, no questions asked and as for the rest of these scumbags… TAKE THEM DOWN MEN!!"
"YES CAPTAIN SMOKER SIR!!" The men shouted in unison as they then charged at the rest of the Pirates that were there.
Zoro sheathed his swords and Sanji gazed at Nezu with open admiration.
She winced in pain as she clutched her shoulder where she was shot and then in an instant, both Zoro and Sanji rushed to her side to help her stand, "I-I feel dizzy…"
In one swift move Zoro lifts Nezu up princess style and starts to carry her as they make their way back to the ship, "Don't worry starlight… we'll get you patched up. You did good, you can rest now."
Nezu nods her head weakly as she struggles to keep her eyes open. Pretty soon she blacked out in Zoro's arms as they were rushing back to the ship. When she woke up, she was in the bed in the ship's cabin and… her shoulder was sore but patched up.
{Wha-... who patched me up?} She thought to herself as she touched her shoulder gently.
She looked around to see Zoro sitting in a chair fast asleep with his arms crossed, {Poor Zoro must have been worried silly about me….}
She then looked next to her to see a new outfit that Nami must have bought from Logue town. Without thinking, Nezu began to change into the new clothes. Yet she had difficulty since humans did not have wings. It was complicated to get the shirt on… she sighed heavily, she had no choice but to ask for Zoro's help in the matter.
She used the shirt to cover her large breasts and nudged Zoro awake, "Ummm, Zoro, I sorta need help with putting on my shirt."
Zoro yawned but when he saw Nezu leaning towards him and barely covering her very lovely chest with nothing but her shirt…. He swallowed the lump in his throat hard as he felt a need to claim her as his own.
