53 CHAPTER - XLV

After some very boring classes I almost fell asleep because the old man didn't let me use my laser to weld some things to improve the efficiency of my beloved plasma gun.

I stretched myself from sitting and wiped off the drool I had from falling asleep on the desk.

Reporter: "It's Spider-Man."- He said it happily.

Peter is seen shooting his webs at poles to propel and kick him in the snout, knocking him away.

"What's up pejelagarto you have vision problems."- Peter said it mockingly seeing the bipedal beast looking up at the sky.

Lizard: "stupid mammal I will tear off your limbs."- He said it in a thick and scary voice.

Peter: "So you can talk"

Lizard: "I have no time to waste on a lesser mammal. I have to make this world a reptilian paradise."- he said it seriously.

The lizard uses its tail to hit Peter and he is sent to a passing bus.

End of television.

"Helpi why I wasn't notified that Peter is in trouble."- I asked worried.

Curt didn't notice my presence until he was pushed into the elevator which he collided with forcefully causing his weight to bring the elevator down.

'I think he went to the bottom of the floor.'- I thought so.

I approached carefully to see that the elevator hit the end, but the professor was not there, I only looked up to be face to face with Curt.

"Or Professor Curt, how is your day?"- I said it nervous.

"Curt is not alone because he is the lizard Peter Parker."- He said it furiously only to let out a roar.

"you need some mints I think I have the solution."- I said that to shoot a spider web at him to seal his mouth.

He glared at me to easily remove the cobweb.

Lizard: "When I'm done with you, I'll kill all your blood, you damn annoying mammal."- He said it furious.

'I hope he was joking. Richard can dislocate his mouth and break all his bones if he touches Aunt May.'- I thought nervously.

"I wouldn't recommend it and why don't we talk about the weather today it was very cloudy."- I said it funny.

Lizard - "I am losing my patience and unnecessary time with you mammal."- He said it upset.

After that comment he charged against me I saw how his claws gave a sinister shine I jumped from where I was to see the tables and some cubicles were torn to pieces.

'I don't know what he just did, but I mustn't let him touch me.'- I thought seriously.

"what do you say about we would spend charity time as new best friends."- I said it mockingly.

Lizard: "You are annoying."

He charged at me again I saw that he was going to do the same move I jumped in advance only to receive a blow from his tail that sent me crashing into some cubicles.

He left me stunned for a few seconds when I recovered he was going up the stairs I stopped to follow him.

I hear a female scream that upsets me I increase my speed to see that he throws Gwen out a window I don't have time to follow him I jump out the window I catch Gwen I don't have time to shoot my cobwebs.

'This is going to hurt a lot.'- I thought of it to completely cover Gwen with my body absorbing most of the impact.

I felt like all my bones cracked from the impact, it seems I didn't hit the asphalt but a smooth police car that was below.

"Gwen, are you fine."- I asked worried.

"Yeah, just a little dizzy, but you gotta go get the lizard, it took the scatterer."- She said worried.

"how bad would that thing be."- I asked curious.

Gwen: "That can spread the lizard formula for about 10 blocks."

"that's too bad we'd have a lot of lizardmen walking around new york."- I said it nervous.

Gwen: "The only solution is if he scatters his formula you put the antidote on him to prevent that."

'Anyway, I have to go down to see if I can stop him downstairs.'- I thought determined.

"I can use the freezing webs to my advantage since it's a humid environment down there."

Without further ado, I run to lift a lid on the nearest sewer and go down to the aqueducts of New York.

After falling heroically.

'Reminder, heroic falls hurt your knees.'- I thought sad.

"SIF you could help me by activating the suit's night vision."- I said it looking around while I heard the sound of footsteps.

"Understood Mr. Peter, but I am not SIF for certain reasons the artificial intelligence that was placed in your suit was me."- It was said by a feminine voice making me understand that it is Victoria

"Victoria I thought my help would be SIF after all he said he had settled into the suit."- I said it calmly.

In that I felt how my forearms were reinforced with something with my active night vision look to see a layer of silver metal.

'I am still feeling light and my knuckles as well as my entire forearm are protected.'- I thought excitedly.

"You could always do that."- I ask.

"The suit has a lot of extra things that were added for your safety."- She said it calmly.

"can you tell me"- I asked interested.

"It will be another time since you're in a not very safe situation."- She said serious

Peter: "That's true."

I felt a tingling jump seeing where I was there was a mark of claws.

"Victoria change my normal cobwebs to freezing ones."- I said it in a hurry while dodging his attacks.

He quickly shot him across the body, but he saw the danger and moved away.

He looked at me annoyed only for a grotesque smile to form.

"Why don't you have fun with my friends."- He said it funny.

After that my spider sense was altered I looked everywhere to see that I was surrounded by crocodiles.

"I thought it was a myth that there were crocodiles in the sewers of New York."- I said it nervous.

The crocodiles growled as curt sped away leaving me behind.

'This was his plan the crocodiles would entertain me while he accomplishes his plan.'- I thought seriously.

In it, a crocodile attacks my shot, my freezing web, when I touch it, it starts to slow down.

'Cobwebs are slowing them down.'- I thought seriously.

After that I shoot the other crocodiles rendering them useless, but I didn't see one attacking me that I manage to dodge by my spider sense.

Peter: "I have to be aware of my surroundings."

I quickly leave the place to see empire state.

I run quickly, I change my cobwebs to normal ones to start swinging, I increase my speed when I see a scaly stain moving down the street in the air, I shoot my cobwebs to encourage it.

The lizard dodges all my webs he stops to grab a pole that he throws at me I release the web I use to swing to shoot another one and get away from the object I throw before I notice it my web is cut by a manhole cover.

He starts running again I shoot my cobwebs so that my feet brush the ground.

'It was close.'- I thought nervously.

With the momentum of the web it launches me up to aim at a higher building and increase my speed.

I only see how curt destroys everything that is in his path I see with a police car he tries to limit his path only for him to fly away with if it were a stone and the policemen were sent into the air I quickly shot my webs to stop his fall.

Peter: "Don't forget to thank your friendly neighbor Spiderman."

To continue my pursuit apparently I have a very bad feeling since curt causes a crash that traps the people who are in the cars I quickly see one of those cars on fire I shoot my freezing cobwebs to turn off the car I see myself I walk over to get people out of their cars.

"quick someone call emergency."- I told them and the lizard, he had wasted a lot of time taking people out, he arrived to see the doors of the empire state destroyed.

'he is going up I must reach him.'- I thought seriously.

I push myself to get to the middle of the building. I start to climb as fast as I can. I don't know how long it will take but when I get there I see the spreader already in place, but I can't find any trace of the lizard.

In that I feel the danger, but it's too late because curt puts his hands on my head to throw me out of the building I shoot my cobwebs to return he waits for me dodge to grab my foot and hit me on the ground when he picks me up again to repeat .

I slam into his jaw, freeing my foot and shooting my webs quickly to pin him to the ground.

"Sir, you have run out of cobwebs, it is recommended that you recharge your deparadores."- Victoria said it calmly.

Lizard: "No matter what you do, I win."- He said it mockingly.

In that I hear a beep I see that he releases the gas I quickly approach to try to stop him, but nothing he does stops him so I break the formula that he was expelling to remove the remains and put the antidote.

"I'm sorry, but the situation is detoxified."- I said it mockingly,

I look down to see the people who were affected by the lizard formula being cured by the antidote made by Gwen.

Just sigh.

'I hope no one finds out I'm not in the house.'- I thought about it sitting next to the machine.
