The Beginning of the End (Part 2)

I remember waking up to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I rub my eyes then stretch out a little only to notice it's still dark outside. I look at the horizon only to see the sun is almost coming over it. I ponder on who could be coming to disturb my rest this early in the morning but to no conclusion I give up and processed to the door. I open the door only to find no one there but a letter laying on the floor.

I pick the letter up and close the door. I return to my bed and open the letter only to be shocked by who the sender of the letter is. It is from my older sister Chu Samara and she wrote "Chu Qin its been almost 5 years since my little sister died and I haven't seen you once. I hope you can come and see me after all these years so we can talk. I'll be staying at a hotel in Wander's Land for some business". As soon as I get done reading the letter my heart stings and my mind wanders to Sakura's cold dead bloody body in my arms after she took an arrow to the arm and heart for me while fleeing from the Emperor's men. My fist start tightening up due to my anger from not being able to protect my little sister and not being strong enough to kill the Emperor for wanting to take my little sister as his concubine.

I calm down after a few minutes and return to the letter in my hands. I read it once more to make sure I didn't miss anything then close the letter and put it into my pocket. I get up from the bed and stare out the window thinking of the past with Sakura how she took care and loved me when no one else did. After about 30 minutes I then proceed to the local diner for some breakfast since i haven't eaten anything yet. By the time I get done eating the sun is almost at its peak so I start heading toward Wander's Land to see Samara.

I estimated that it should take me close to 4 hours to get there due to me being at the Earth realm but if I was at the Spirit realm then I would be there in 2 hours. Martial Cultivators are people who can feel and absorb the spiritual energy throughout the world and are able to use it. There are also animals that can absorb the energy innately and grow stronger over time known as Magical Beasts.

On the road to Wander's Land, I come across a merchant who is in very ragged clothes but carries himself quite well for being a normal human with no cultivation base. He then stops me and says "Sir, would you like to look at my wares I have for sale?". I say to the man who is around 40 odd years of age from the looks "Sorry, I'm short on time so I'll have to humbly decline". The ragged old man then blocks my path and says "Sir, for where you are heading I must ask you to look at least once so this old mans heart can rest easy." I look at the old man only to look in the direction I must head toward so I can meet up with Samara. I then say to him "Very well, I'll have to trouble you to let me have a look". The old man eyes light up saying after me "Good, Sir will not regret this decision by the way my name is Cai Shen but Sir can call me Shen". I give a weird look at him due to his name but shrug it off and say "Mr. Shen my name is Chu Qin".

Shen then nods and pulls out a box from no where and says "Here is what I have to sell hopefully there is something Mr. Qin will like". My eyes become big due to noticing where the box just came from and I look to confirm if he has a ring on his finger and sure enough he has a spatial ring. I give a sigh due to seeing the spatial ring that most people do not have since they are very expensive. Spatial rings are rings that you can put non-living objects inside and transport them with you wherever you go but they do have a certain amount of space that is the downside to them. The very expensive ones can hold almost an entire house but most can usually hold 2 or 3 bag full of stuff. So seeing one in person is very rare indeed and makes most people do crazy things in the world to get one.

I compose myself and proceed to look in the box Mr. Shen brought out. I'm stunned by the beautiful necklaces and bracelets he has in the box but one of them makes me take a few breaths in and out. The necklace that takes my attention away is pink jade with gold and silver tiger claws on the sides of it. I think of how Sakura would've of loved this necklace and how she would've looked while wearing it. Mr. Shen sees how I'm looking at that certain necklace and says "Mr. Qin how about this, I'll give you this necklace free of charge in commemoration of us getting to know each other."
