16 Chapter 16: This Night

[Airish Laxamana]

I already finished my paperworks so I decided to observe the school. I checked every room as I look at the students.

Looks like it's peaceful in here..

Napatingin ako sa relos ko. 9:45. I missed two classes already... Habang nakatingin ako sa relos ko ay may nadinig akong ingay.

"No one can hear you here." Napahinto ako sa likod ng Junior High building at napatingin sa grupo ng mga lalaki.

I watch as I hide. "Leave me alone." A boy with a nerdy glasses answered.

"Leave you alone? Are you kidding me? Ilang araw ka nang hindi nagbibigay ng pera sa 'min."

"Am I your parents?" I smirks. I like this nerd's guts. He have this attitude that I like.

"Sumasagot kana?" This is interesting...

"Yes." He simply answers. His eyes tells the opposites of his words... Because in his eyes... I can see the fear in it...

The guy with a 3 piercing on his ears punch him. Hindi siya nakalaban kaya napaupo siya. "Wala ka naman pala." That nerd stands up as he clenched his fist.

"Lalaban." Natatawang sambit ng isang lalaking may bandana sa ulo. Is this some WANNABE TYPE OF GANGSTERS?

"Come on," Pag-aaaya ng isa pa. Is this how new millennial acts? They're starting to be SHITS. No, THEY'RE SHITS ALREADY.

That nerd acts like he can handle them. I don't think that he can win on this.

"Ayaw mo? Edi ako mauuna!" That guy wearing a 3 piercings punch that nerd again while the others are kicking him.

"No one can save you."

"Says who?" Lumabas ako habang nakapamulsa silang tinignan.

"Who are you?" Atleast, there are some people who doesn't knows me. "Let him go." Natatawa ang lalaki habang dinuro ako. May nakakatawa ba? That nerd tries to stand up as he looks at me. But then, he can't help but to sit while holding his stomach.

"I don't need your help." I don't fucking care if he doesn't wants my help. I'm just doing my FUCKING JOB.

"You have 3 seconds to run." But they just make fun of me by using their hands as a puppet. Bastard little kiddos...

"Alam mo ate, you have no business in here." They're not scared are they? Sa bagay, teens nowadays are all shits. A FUCKING LITTLE SHITS.

"I have." I boredly said.

"Sino ka ba? Angas mo ahh." A boy with a good looking face ask.

"It's bad for you to have a scar on your face." Ani ko. He looks at me while he's identifying my face. He moves closer as his eyes widened.

He points his fingers on me as he looks at his comrades. "Draven, diba siya 'yong President ng College Building?" Nakita ko ang pag-atras ng mga estudyante.

"SORRY MA'AM!" Agad silang nagsitakbuhan leaving this boy behind.

"Are you ok?" I ask while I lend my hand. But, he just tap my hands away.

"I said, I don't need your help." I nods. Kumuha ako ng panyo tsaka 'yon itinapon sa kanya. Umalis ako while leaving him on that situation.

I don't have a time for a brat like him. I'm just trying to help and he's pissing me.

I get my phone as I called Kaijin's number. Hindi rin naman nagtagal at sinagot niya agad ito.

"Yes Chief~" I felt that creepiness in his voice so I stop for a while before I speak. "Cafeteria." Maikli kong sambit tsaka pinatay ang tawag.

A minutes later, nakapunta na ako ng cafeteria and to my surprise, Pey and Nadine was also here. "Can we join?" Nadine ask while sitting besides Kaijin who looks irritated.

Hindi na ako kumibo dahil nakaupo naman na siya. "Let's order." Kaijin stands up as he gets my arms.

"There's no deep meaning on that. She just sits besides me, that's all." Pagpapaliwanag niya.

What does he thinks of me? A lowlife woman? Does he thinks that I'm that Quick to get jealous and then I'll make an effin scandal? And why would I be jealous by the way?

Pagkatapos naming umorder ay bumalik na kami sa table but this time pinaalis ni Kaijin si Nadine para ako ang maging katabi niya.

We talk as we eat. "Paano na 'yung essay?" Tanong ni Pey. "1000 words in one person." Ani ko.

"We can sleepover in your place." Napatingin ako kay Nadine. Did she just say... SLEEPOVER?

"Good idea." Napatingin ako kay Pey. Seriously? Where the fuck is our privacy in that??

"Are you sure about that?" Tanong ni Kaijin habang binaba ang inumin niya. "Unless you have a house to sleepover with." Kaijin gets his phone and type a random numbers.

Who is he calling?

[Kaijin Del Mundo]

"Hey Caly," Sambit ko sa nakababata kong kapatid.

"What do you want?" Magandang bungad niya.

"Can you share your condo to me if that's fine." I heard his sigh on the telephone.

"What'll you do?"

"Just working on some essays."

"You're living with Airish right?"

"Yes, why?"

"Then why do you need to sleepover in here?"

"Privacy."

"I do too."

"But that's mine."

"..." He stops for a while before he answers again.

"Fine, just this night." He said so I hang up the call. I smiles at Airish but she ignores me.

Nadine looks at me as she smiles while Pey is taking a look on Airish while eating.

I want to stop Nadine from looking at me... She keeps biting her lower lip... Fuck... I'm starting to cringe on her...

Pagkatapos naming kumain ay bumalik na kami sa klase. Sumama na si Airish kaya binigay ko naman sa kanya ang hand-outs kanina. I also teach her about the lessons while she keeps taking down notes.

Hindi ko alam kung kailan ako nagkagusto sa pag-aaral, but I'm starting to like it.

Dati puro lang kami cutting ni Xerxes. We were spending our money on a worthless things na ngayon ko lang napagtanto.

The class started as the professor entered. Instead of listening, pinaglalaruan ko lang ang buhok ni Airish. I want to get her attentions but she keeps listening and taking down notes.

This girl... She's a workaholic president.

"Kaijin Del Mundo." I stand up as Ms. De Guzman calls me.

"What are the 6 key functions of Business Operation?" I didn't see this coming...

Airish taps her notes.

I smiles as I answer.

"Financial, production, office, marketing, operations, and legal." Ms. De Guzman nods.

"Good, take a seat." I smiles at her but she looks at the whiteboard. Did I just smiled on her? O pader ang nginitian ko dahil hindi niya ako pinansin?

Pagkatapos ng klase ay sumunod ang Human Resource Management.

"Assignments everyone: List all of the HRM process on a bond paper. Those students who'll make an effort will receive a +2 on their exams." Tsaka siya umalis ng room.

Pagkatapos nito ay sabay-sabay na kaming umalis. Good thing that we didn't ride a motor in this morning.

Airish called her driver. And minutes past, it finally arrives. Pagkapasok namin ay pinagitnaan kami ni Pey at Nadine.

"Nagugutom na ako." Pey said as she gets her phone. "Let's eat!" Dinig kong sambit ni Nadine.

At dahil doon we decided to stop on a fast food chain. We ordered a chicken bucket and a combo meal and decided to eat it when we get home.

Ilang minuto pa at nakarating na kami sa condo. Tinipa ko ang numero bago bumukas ang pintuan.

Inilapag namin ang pagkain at ang bag namin tsaka kami kumain.

As we finished eating, kasabay nito ang pagbukas ng pinto. Iniluwa nito si Calypso ang bunso kong kapatid.

"Ikaw?" Napatingin ako kay Calypso na nakakunot ang noo kay Airish.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito?" Magkakilala na ba sila? Airish eyes widened but it didn't take too long.

"Finishing an essay with them." Sagot naman ni Airish habang ininom ang coke niya.

"Do you know each other?" Binaba ni Calypso ang bag niya tsaka sumagot. "I met her a while ago."

"You were?" Tumingin ako kay Airish. "He has the same attitude as you." Sabay tapon ni Airish sa bote ng coke.

"We met by accident." Napatingin samin si Calypso. "What do you mean?" I ask out of confusion.

"Nagkabanggaan." Mabilis na sagot ni Calypso habang pumunta siya malapit samin ni Airish. "Can I borrow her for a while?" Kumunot ang noo ko. I was planning to refuse but he takes Airish away from me.

"Let's start?" Napatingin ako kay Nadine na kinuha ang laptop niya.

"Let's take a scratch." Sambit ni Pey kaya kumuha muna siya ng papel.

Ilang minuto pa at bumalik na ang dalawa. Dumiretso si Calypso sa kusina habang tahimik na umupo si Airish.

"What did he tell you?" She shrugs her shoulders as she takes a scratch paper.

I'm fucking curious....

"I didn't expect you to have a younger brother." Nadine said as she looks at me.

"Now that you mention it, that boy is cuter than you." Tawang sambit ni Pey. "Biruin mo 'yon, CUTE kapatid mo tapos ikaw NAKAKATAKYUT." Binatukan ko si Pey kaya napahawak siya sa ulo niya.

"Galet na galet gusto manaket." What the fuck is that word?

In the middle of our writing session, nakita ko ang pagbaba ni Calypso.

"Where are you going?" I ask all of a sudden.

"Starbucks." He casually said while he open the door. "I'm coming." Kinuha ko ang wallet ko at napatingin kay Airish. "Do you want something?" She looks at me as she answers.

"Caramel Coffee." Tumingin naman sakin sina Pei at Nadine.

"Ako Frappe!" Sambit ni Pey.

"Cappuccino." Ani Nadine kaya tumuloy na kami ni Calypso.

Ilang minuto pa at nakapunta na kami ng Starbucks. Umorder kami pagkatapos ay umupo. Waiting for our names to be called.

"That Airish..." Napatingin ako kay Calypso habang nakita ko ang pagngiti niya.

"She's kind." Nasiraan na ba ng bait ang batang 'to? How can he say that Airish is kind? That girl.. She's a fucking teaser, a bossy type, and a cold speaker woman... But hey, SHE'S MY FUCKING MEDICINE.

"How can you say so?"

"I can't say it." Ano ba talagang nangyari kanina sa pag-uusap nila?

"Captain and Caly." Napatayo kami at kinuha ang order namin pagkatapos ay umalis na kami at umuwi. Pagkapasok ng Condo ay inilapag ko na ang order nila.

Hahawakan na sana ni Airish ang caramel pero ako ang humawak nito.

Hinipan ko ang kape bago ko iyon ibigay sa kanya. "Lock the doors. I'll be on my room. If you need something, just call me." Pagkaakyat niya ng kwarto ay nagsimula na ulit kaming gumawa. Sinubuan ko naman si Airish ng doughnut na kinagat naman niya.

"Ehem, nandito po kami." Napailing naman ako kay Pey. "Sana ol sinusubuan. Gusto ko na tuloy magkaboypren :<" Kita ko naman ang pag-iling ni Airish habang natatawa.

Ilang oras din bago kami natapos. Nag-unat kami lahat ng kamay at inistapler ang essay.

"Dapat pala pinaikot-ikot nalang natin 'yong sentence Di naman babasahin 'yan dami-dami natin sa room •3•"

"The machine checks it." Sambit ni Airish. "She's right, all of the research and reports are all checked by a machine." Tumango naman si Pey.

Napatingin ako sa relo ko. It's 5:16 already? "Since maaga tayo natapos, nood tayo." Sambit ni Pey.

Binuksan namin ang TV at nanood sa Netflix. "Anong genre?" Tanong ni Pey. Is it gay if I choose Romance?

"Romance." Sambit ni Nadine.

"Ako din Romance. Kaijin, ikaw?"

"If that's what you want then why not?" Tumingin naman kaming lahat kay Airish.

"Ikaw Airish?" Pey asked as she smiles.

"Horror." Tumahimik kami sandali. "I prefer Romance." Sambit ni Pey at nagpalabas siya ng isang Romance Movie.

2 hours din ang palabas kaya nagutom kami. We ordered some foods at naisip ko ding tawagin si Calypso para kumain.

Bumukas ang pintuan at nakita ko siyang gumagawa ng assignments niya.

"OYE, kain na." Napatingin siya sakin at nag-unat bago binitawan ang gamit niya.

Pagkababa niya ay saktong pagtunog ng bell. Binuksan ni Airish ang pintuan at kinuha ang order bago binigay ang bayad.

Inilapag niya ang pagkain pero hindi siya kumuha ng pinggan. "Aren't you eating?"

"I prefer a midnight snack." Sabay latag niya ng kumot sa sahig. She play a horror movie at nakita ko naman ang pagtabi sa kanya ni Calypso.

They both love horror movies are they?

"Taste this, masarap Ito." Napatingin ako kay Nadine. "Open your mouth." She smiles. Napatingin ako kay Pey na parang walang pakialam.

Hindi pa ba nahahalata ni Nadine na si Airish ang gusto ko?

"No thanks, I'm good." Itinapat niya naman ang kutsara niya kay Pey na siyang kinain ni Pey.

Pagkatapos naming kumain ay inilagay ko sa dry place ang pagkain ni Airish. Maybe she'll touch this later.

Bumalik kami sa panonood ng horror movies. Kalahati lang ang naumpisahan namin pero grabe na agad ang takot nina Pey at Nadine.

After we watched, we decided to sleep. Calypso go in his room as he leave us. Binuksan naman na namin ang kalahating tsaka natulog.

Nasa kalagitnaan ako ng pagtulog ng may maramdaman akong dumadaloy sa katawan ko.

Bumukas ang mata ko and I saw Nadine touching my body as she bit her lower lip. WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE DOING?

Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at tumayo kaming dalawa.

Nang makarating kami sa Kitchen area ay sinunggaban niya ako ng halik. Napalunok ako as I found myself kissing her back.

"I know you're resisting." She said. I get her waist as we deepen the kiss. She touch my body as we continues. I take her LUST for only 1 minute and then I STOP.

"Kaijin, why did you stop?" Inilayo ko ang katawan niya sakin.

"This is wrong Nadine." Sagot ko sa kanya.

"What's wrong with it? Hindi naman malalaman ni Airish, she's asleep." So she knew it...

"You can use me anytime." Now she's desperate....

"Kaijin, I'm fucking horny down here..." What the fuck? Nawalan naba ng dignidad ang babaeng 'to?

"Then go to a bar." I casually said. "You can FUCK a hundred men and a Hundred women but you can't FUCK me." Kumunot ang noo niya.

"Bakit? Dahil ba mas magaling si Airish kaysa sakin?" Did she just say that to Airish?

"Mukha ngang walang pakialam sa 'yo si Airish kahit ilang babae pa ang dumapo sa 'yo." Natawa naman ako ng bahagya. It's not the case.

"If I were you, I'll give up. Dahil kahit anong sabihin mo, kahit baliktarin mo pa ang mundo, at kahit maghubad ka pa ngayon sa harapan ko, Si Airish at si Airish parin ang pipiliin ko. I'm sorry Nadine, but your wasting your time on me."

"Bakit si Airish?" Seryoso niyang tanong.

"Because she won't do things like this. And if she's in my body right now? She'll cover you with a jacket and will tell you to respect and love yourself." Simple kong sagot tsaka pumunta sa pwesto ni Airish. I cover her with a blanket as I kissed her forehead.

Nakita ko ang pagbalik ni Nadine at ang pagkuha niya ng gamit bago siya umalis.

I smiles as I arrange Airish's hair.

'Do you hear that chief? I dump a girl just for you and I'm willing to DUMP a million girls just to be with you.'
