25 Power of a Saint Blood Armor Variant

He felt his whole body submerged in a clear bright horizon. Crossing the line defying all natural laws of science. His body continued his descent as he fell through the supposed horizon and appeared on the otherside. Strong aurora lights appeared as he crossed and the lights across his body shined brilliantly, the bright horizon was of no more as it dimmed, heading straight into an abyss.

His body had no feeling whatsoever, visualizing everything that was happening to him in the so called dream.

When all the lights was gone, even the lights around him, swallowed by the void of black, he felt a strong sense of nothingness. He felt his consciousness fading as the void slowly consumed everything within his mind, void of all human emotions and the death of his mind. But that all changed as it appeared all sky blue, the same horizon world of his Sea of Conscious and the Mind Palace that lays atop of the blue world.

He felt that his body gained back the ability to move, the sudden descent in the abyss like area was stsrange, as if a strong powerful being was trying to seep in his mind and take over, but was immediately stopped as if another entity took over and allowed him to cross over.

A class briefly explained a subject where one could actually move and see in the Mind and Conscious and had full control over it, but that needed years of wisdom and control over one's mind, no beginner would learn it on their first try, even most masters as well. But he felt truly connected to the world as he felt his feet touched the sky blue, the feeling of coldness revertebrated through his body, as the rippling of water. His mind had directly recieved the sound as well.

Each step towards the Mind Palace brought great sounds as if a roar in his mind, but once he reached the first step, it all stopped and as if time resumed, the ripples of water quickly ended.

The Mind Palace was vast and tiles of clouds was all over, his first step had transformed the environment around him to be of the interior of white with black cross sections showing that the whole area was constructed with the tiles.

A small rift in the air showed his sign of entry and showed he could go back, coiling and resting close to the rift, was a small snake, its form was of true black with red scales protruding off of its body.

'This must be the true form of the snake.'

It had noticed his presence and as if responding to what he said with his mind, it lifted its head from the loop.

It stared with a black pupil with a white iris. It slowly crawled towards Bai Li's body and wrapped around his arm, showing that it was not harmful, it nudged its head to his chest.

A strong light appeared as always before, submerging the whole surrounding, before it went all white as a fog sweeped the area.

-

"Third brother, are you alright!"

Three concerned faces all tower above him, he felt startled and moved his headi n a quick manner, crashing into the three heads in unison.

""OW!""

Everyone all cried as they bent their heads backwards and rubbed the point of impact between everyone's head.

"Why did you do that?"

"Sorry, ow.."

They all clicked their tongues in unison.

Shortly after recovering, Bai Li received any events that happened when Bai Li was out cold.

He was actually unconscious for three weeks, an absurd amount not to be taken light of!

After shortly killing the cobra, they began extracting some of the blood, using Ju Dun's remaining Soul Energy, they refined it as much as possible, not caring how much side effects it had but to cure the poison inflicted on Tomahawk.

The poison was eventually cured after a horrendous three days before the treatment was made, Tomahawk made a long recovery, feeling a set back in his soul force, he let out a pained grin.

They had rested in the cave ever since, foraging the materials of the snake as much as possible, using the blood of the beast and the venom sac to scare off any nearby monsters.

"Sorry for making you guys fail the mission.."

He became very sad.

"Failed!? I'd say its a success for us! Not only did you slay a Saint blood monster, we can easily compensate for their wasted time!"

They had consumed much of the bird here and grew stronger, Tomahawk was close to his fighting prowess already and only needed a year at most to recover to his original status.

They even used their contribution to score some of the scales of the snake for Ju Dun's shield and the meat to power themselves. Fire Axe was close to becoming a High tier Warrior and the rest were breaking through to the Mid tier at the moment, they could speed up the process if they continue fighting as well. As they were conversing, a strong silence soon came and Fire Axe growing increasingly serious.

"Well, after all of this, did you..."

Bai Li knew what the question was gonna be asked sooner or later.

"Of course!"

"You lucky rascal!"

He knew it was about the beast soul that came along with the beast!

He began materializing it, using his mind to command the armor to appear in the Soul Realm. A dark haze soon brought over his whole body, slowly surrounding the entirety, forming what seemed to be a cowl.

It's only opening was room for his legs and arms to come out of. overall, his entire face was covered with a sinister mask formed by the dense dark blaze. Two flames were on the flame section to appear as if he was a Reaper.

"Sick!"

They all exclaimed, some with truly supportive claims while one was jealous.

Unlike the entirety of the cover from the armor, his visions was not impared as well as his movement, it was truly sinister beauty as it showed the nightmare's incarnate.

For the past few days, they watched Bai Li get use to his movements and ate some of the meat that Bai Li permitted for them to grow more powerful.

He had soon found out much of the features of the cowl.

It greatly improved speed, aside from the rest of the armor variants that only acted to block powerful strikes and attacks. It's speed would naturally double his body at this instant, easily breaking his record. Not only that, the haze that formed the cowl could be controlled on the whim, even with the basis that it could still form his cloak. The cowl's name was just simply due to the facial features produced by the armor, being the key feature of it.

The dark haze had offensive capabilities to form from the cloak, able to possess strength on par with its defense, a Low tier Saint blood creature.

It also provided the bonus of poison affliction when fighting with the wielder of the cowl, so they would slowly be drained from their attacks and succumb when they were weak. This was found when Tomahawk was curious of the cloak and touched it, becoming poisoned once more.

It was fortunate they still had the foraged parts of the snake as they made anotehr batch of the refined blood. But the ability was too strange, it felt as if the power of the beast armor was too good to be true, a feature by unlocking certain things, he was sure it was the foundation qi, changing his structure and allowing him more abilities from the beast armor.

Most beast armors were more generalized and only boosted certain attributes on the wielder, so the poison seemed strange. But that wasn't important as of now, he could reasearch it later.

"Now that we're done, let's head back and have another!"

They all cheered by the benevolent remark by Fire Axe as they continued their path, straight to the city from the Buried Sands Region, not caring with their newly acquired bounty they had all packed. They were even more stronger than before, they did not fear the ants or spiders anymore!

Bai Li took a glimpse at the cave, which they made natural claw marks so that it just appeared to be from a beast, only to mark it as a memorial for their achievements.

'I will surely bury your remains.'

He devised of a plan to sneak out here by himself to keep it a secret, as he thought that he woulds till be given the opportunity to do so since he felt no currents of wind to blow away the ashes, he continued his path to the city. With no worries in his steps as he treaded closer to civilization.
