I Disagree!

A month prior, France.

A large mansion hidden in the suburbs.

"Alexandre, Have you heard of the Nakamuras?" The man asked with a hidden purpose, carefully slicing his plate of filet mignon. The way a surgeon slices through flesh.

Three people were seated in the minimalistic dining room. Lit by a large Mullan Flemish Chandelier, the cherry oak dining table shining with a deep auburn. The white plates and silver cutlery presenting a clear contrast.

Pausing before he took a sip of red wine he secretly looked at his mother and father, furrowing his brows.

His mother a slender woman, definitely a beauty when she was younger, bit her painted red lips not meeting his gaze.

"The business tycoon...Yuto Nakamura. I think he has a son, a lawyer-Hayato Nakamura?" His deep voice vibrated in the room, adding a kind of sexiness.

His dirty blonde hair a trait from his mother like gilded honey, shone under the white light.

Slightly loosening his black tie, his muscular arm bulged slightly.

"I've heard of them." He said bluntly, his sea foam eyes narrowing slightly as he raised an eyebrow.

"Business tycoon... you could call him that." With a slight smile, ignoring his predatory look.

Staring at her husband her eyes gesturing to her son, Caroline Auclair took a deep breath placing a piece of meat in her mouth.

"They also... have a daughter." He said, gently placing the cutlery down. Looking at him with a piercing look.

"She's quite elusive, but then again doctors are." Caroline said softly, with a strange look of tenderness in her eyes.

Pushing back his plate and crossing his arms.

"I'm not interested", enunciating through gritted teeth.

"Neither is she." She responded, twirling the glass in her thin fingers as if lamenting.

Rolling his eyes, he sighed removing the tie from his shirt. Messing up his blonde hair as he stood up.

"Well this was a waste of time... You dragged me home for this, the underworld doesn't run on being thick skinned alone."

Turning around, his eyes turned dark. He stopped...pausing when he heard his mothers voice.

"We and her father agreed." Her similar blue-green eyes bore in his back.

His father placing a leg over his knee, with an unfathomable look.

"When was the last time you visited a psychiatrist?", his voice getting a little louder, emphasising the last word.

His back stiffening, he turned to look at his father with a murderous look. "That's none of your concern. All you should care about is whether your clients don't get killed by me!"

"Are you gay?" Asking a little apprehensive.

"Of course not." Replying decisively, a little perplexed. Just because he doesn't go fucking any old woman, Why it that he must be gay?

"The matter of 8 years ago...", Caroline shaking as she spoke. "You should never have been there in the first place."

He would argue with his father, but never with his mother. He knew ever since he was a child, his mother suffered from anxiety and trauma. But he would never ask why for fear of triggering her. It was the reason his younger siblings spent less time with her, despite wanting to see them.

Leaning a hand on his face, hiding a smile. His fathers dark blue eyes flashed ominously.

"The marriage will go on as planned."

"I disagree!" Looking at his father, adamantly.

"I have already agreed", his eyes piercing. Forcing him to swallow a cold breath. "If you embarrass me I won't hesitate to disown you."

Slightly stunned, sneering. "What did they promise you?, she's just a doctor! You can find a number of them here?!"

"Alex, I will not ask anything else from you. Just listen to your father... this once." She whispered gently tugging on the sleeve of his blazer.

Breathing heavily, hating the feeling of being controlled. He let his mother pull on him.

"Yuki's a great girl and she won't inconvenience you in anyway" She persuaded him.

Thinking how that would be possible. With so many enemies, people wanting to kill him for his position she'd surely be implicated.

"Yuki?" He asked with a raised eyebrow, feeling strangely apprehensive.

"You're 26, shes 24. She's studied here ever since childhood, so there won't be much of a language barrier. Additionally, she's aware of what the family does and has no opinions...being particularly close to your cousins Paul and Louis." His father said watching his perplexed expression, his lips hooking up to one side secretly.

"Now that your less busy, you should reduce the amount that you spend with the undead" , he continued. Referring to his subordinates, implying he should learn from his fathers past experiences and not trust people as they are but what they seem.

"Next month, we'll be meeting them in New York. If you don't want to attend, you'll see what will happen." Explaining indifferently.

Slamming his bedroom door shut behind him and locking it, he collapsed on the white bed. Pulling out his phone he did a regular internet search of the Nakamuras', but surprisingly he could only find out what he already knew. He couldn't even find a face to add to the name, especially not finding anything about the girl he would supposedly be marrying.

'The fuck is he thinking? Who would allow themselves up to be married to the Mafia? They must be insane'

Removing his blazer as he casually ripped open the upper buttons of his shirt, he poured himself a glass of something to relax his frustration.

Taking a sip he placed the glass down, pressing his hand against the two necklaces he always wore. One being a rusted military tag and a necklace usually worn by a woman. It was a simple pendant made up of a white flower seeming to have been carved out, strung through a thin silver chain. One of the petals were slightly cracked and looked a little red, in between the lines.

'Yukari did you really die because of me?'

Remembering what he was told before, he drank the remaining alcohol in the glass and slammed it ruthlessly on to the bedside table next to him.

He picked up his phone, calling his most trusted aide and friend Adam.

"Hello?" A hoarse voice answered.

"It's me Alex. I need you to do me a favour."

"Sure, What's up?"

"I need you to look up the Nakamuras' , especially someone called Yuki Nakamura." His back straight with his arms crossed. Like a king, commanding his attendants.

"Okay don't worry I'll handle it...So I guess it's true true then?" His slightly hoarse voice, from smoking asked with a bit of concern.

"..."

Hanging up the phone, he dragged himself up towards the shower. His tan muscular chest covered with tattoos, peakedthrough the cotton white shirt.

His phone suddenly rang, his room shrouded in darkness as he sat in bed unable to sleep.

"Did you find anything?", lazily placing an Airpod in his ear.

"Do you remember that incident where some shitty gang wanted to start trouble-when your dad went to New York last year?"

"...We didn't have that many ties then-especially where it happened."

Blinking, he took a deep sigh pushing the blanket away to stand. He strode over to the large window, his feet walking neither slow or fast. The outline of his bare chest, thick with well-earned muscles, could be seen in the moonlight.

"What are you trying to say?" He spat impatiently.

"I casually got people to ask around awhile ago and I personally asked Nico, he seemed really nervous for some reason." He kindly explained, himself trying to understand the situation.

"Although there small- there were about 500-600 of them. Your father asked help from the boss behind that fancy Yoshino hotel after Vic got kidnapped."

"What are you trying to say?" Intrigued.

"They're not normal people at all! Unless he's got major backing but I doubt it?" Speaking his thoughts aloud.

"That boss was Yuto Nakamura alright, they said when they wanted to retaliate three days later that small NYC gang was wiped out." His hoarse voice a little bitter as he explained. "They seem to know who did it- one main guy... But they refused to say. Just saying it was Nakamuras man."

Unable to stand the temptation he asked a little curious, strangely excited.

"Are they...?"

"Yakuza." The air around him getting extremely sinister.

As if able to feel the change, he took a deep breath before speaking.

"If it's an alliance... Could we poach that guy? They don't do dealings here and we'd know if they decided to cheat us."

"Find out who the person was first." Commanding with a hint of sarcasm before hanging up the phone indifferently.
