A Lost Brother

After some time of running through the challenging conditions, the mist that obscured their vision began to dissipate.

Arthur could finally see his other companions on a different part of the track he was on.

"Hey, don't just stand there! Move!" he yelled, noticing one of his remaining companions taking a brief pause.

Suddenly, another large rock plummeted down behind them, causing them to lose their footing.

They began to slide uncontrollably down a slope, tumbling and rolling, all while desperately trying to dodge more falling rocks.

This unexpected descent added yet another layer of danger to their already treacherous situation, as they struggled to regain control and navigate through the hazardous, rock-strewn terrain.

As they continued their perilous slide, an unforeseen tragedy struck. Arthur's companion was suddenly crushed by an enormous rock, leaving him no chance for survival.

Given their lack of control during the descent, Arthur was unable to help or even reach his companion in time.

This harrowing incident added a grim reality to their situation, highlighting the extreme dangers they were facing in this chaotic environment.

Arthur, now alone in this segment of their journey, had to confront the loss while still focusing on navigating the hazardous terrain and rejoining his team.

As Arthur continued to slide, he was repeatedly hit by rocks along the edges, which ultimately led to him losing consciousness.

His uncontrollable descent finally came to an end at the bottom, but by that time, he had already passed out, succumbing to the physical toll of his treacherous journey.

This moment marked a critical point in Arthur's ordeal, leaving him vulnerable and unconscious in a dangerous and unpredictable environment.

"Arthur! Arthur!" These were the words Arthur faintly heard as he slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry. He could make out the face of their leader calling out to him. He blinked again, feeling dizzy from the impact of his earlier fall. When he opened his eyes once more, he realized he was being pulled away by his companions, away from the area where large rocks continued to fall.

"I told you before! You do not get to die here, Arthur!" declared their leader, firmly pulling Arthur away to safety. As Arthur glanced back towards where he had come from, he saw a large rock surrounded by scattered blood. It was a stark, grim reminder of his companion who had been tragically crushed by the falling rocks, a fate Arthur had narrowly escaped.

This realization hit him with the harsh truth of their perilous mission and the dangers they were facing. It was a moment of somber reflection for Arthur, acknowledging the loss of his teammate while also understanding the relentless drive of their leader to keep him and the rest of the team alive amidst such chaotic and deadly circumstances.

"Brother! I'm sorry, brother!" were the last words Arthur uttered before he completely lost consciousness, overwhelmed by the extreme fatigue and injuries he had sustained.
