So Don’t forget

Flashes between of red and blue was fluctuating back and forth. Making it harder to see the night sky let alone the face this women. But even through the night you could distinctly see her red hair. She was crying, her tears were highlighted by the moon. She was holding a baby with blonde hair in her hands. The small child resembled the young man that is standing not to far away from her. Watching as her tears hit the face of the baby.

'M-mother? Is..... that you?' The boy reaches out trying to place his hand on the red haired lady's shoulder, but it just pasted right through her. His voice was unable to be heard. He stared at his hands wondering why he was unsuccessful at grabbing her attention.

He looked around him. He heard many screams, and the explosions in the sky were the only thing you can see besides the moon. The moon wasn't much of a exception cause most of it was covered by a thick layer of smoke. It made it hard to listen to anything but when red haired lady had something to say all the noise quiet downed.

"I will be hiding you away, to a far off land to protect you from her. I'm sorry, I am sending you away, but I promise to come and find you when this is all over. Remember I-I," She choked on her words, before she could continue.

"I will always love and protect you wherever you go. I will always stay in your heart, so don't forget me. Ok?" She looked at me with tears streaming down her face. Soon you could hear foot steps. So she quickly wiped her eyes and and turned her face in that direction. You could see two men walk up to her.

"Mistress! They have breached the gates! Your husband is fighting with the others but, your help is needed!" The said to her. She seemed shock when they mentioned her husband. She looked down at the child one more time.

"My dear Hiroki, you have to go now, but I want to tell you just a few more things before I go. Please be safe, and make friends. Good ones. Eat properly and don't caught up with bad people, and girls. And most importantly be happy. I love you." The red haired lady placed a kiss on the baby's forehead. Looking at her son sweetly. The she wiped the tears off her face once more and turned to the guards. She handed over the baby to the armored men.

"Take him somewhere safe from harms way. If anything should happen contact me, any way you can. I must go help till the Jade Emperors arrive." She stood up with her dress flowing through the wind.

"Now go! Take him away!" The red haired lady yelled at the guards, making them hesitantly back away. She started to run of into the explosions, not looking behind once. The boy that watched her from afar and tried to run towards her.

"Wait don't go! I have so many questions!"The more he ran the farther she seemed to be until she was almost out of view. He looked back to see the guards are flying away with the baby in hand. The blonde fell to his knees with tears falling on the ground. He looked up once more hoping that she might be back. Unfortunately she was gone and everything was on fire. The was eating everything alive. Including himself.

"P-please don't leave me! Don't make me go through this! Please!" He pleaded as his voice started to hick. He cried for what seemed like hours. Then the fire quickly died down and nothing was left, except total darkness and his cries.

-Hiroki's P.O.V-

I sat up suddenly, almost making me fall out of the tree. My heart was beating fast and my breath was heavy.

"T-that d-dream." I clenched my hands on the fabric of my cloths. Feeling as if I couldn't breath. I was suffocating. Then I remembered what Sakura told me to do when this happens.

~Flashback~

"Hey Hiroki!" Said A little girl with pink hair sitting in front of the blonde, who was sitting and playing with the grass. Her eye beamed with excitement. The other boy tilted his head listening closely to what she had to say.

"I learned something from the physician in town! It's supposed to help calm you down when you have that nightmare again!" She said smiling.

"Really what is it?"  He inquired.

"Count to ten!" Saying as she jumped up. She stood with one hand one each hip. Gleaming with pride. The blonde just looked up at her with confusion.

"Count to ten?" She crouched down again.

"Yeah! He said that when you count to ten then it takes your mind off of the nightmare and helps concentrate on your breathe or something. I kinda stoped paying attention after some time." She said scratching the back of her head.

"Oh, if that's the case then ok! I'll do it! Thank you Sakura!" He smiled brightly at her, but it soon changed.

"Um, but one thing." She tilted her head at him.

"What?" He scratched the side of his face and smiled nervously.

"I don't know how to count." She just laughed earning a pout from the boy.

"Oh silly! That was all! I will teach you." Hiroki smiled and hugged the girl.

"Thank you Sakura!"

~Flashback End~

"C-count to t-ten. R-right." He took a deep breath and exhaled slowly.

I could feel my heart slow down. It was like the weight on my chest was removed. I leaned back on the tree and looked up. The foliage was blocking my eyes from direct sunlight. I could see small parts of the sky and how the light looked while it shined through the leaves. The sky was sunny and you could smell the spring It kind of reminds me of that day.

The day I met Sakura Hayami.
