4 Chapter 4: Talking about the Fox Prince

"So Camila, I heard you would wait for me no matter how long it took for me to get back." I said. "Yeah. I had gotten offers but, I turned them down. I really enjoyed playing with you when we were kids." She blushed. "You know Camilla. You are cute when you blush. Haha." "Hey Lucia!" "Ow. Ok Sorry Sorry. Haha."

" Lucia! Lucia!" Uncle Keelo called. "Oh well. Looks like uncle needs me. Want to come with? Do you need to go home?" "I probably should get going. I need to tell mom the good news. I was staying at a friends house last night." "Ok well. See you tomorrow then." "Hmm. Yeah." Camilla waved goodbye and I waved back.

"Coming uncle!" I went up to to the house to see what was up. "Hey uncle what's up?" "Well there is 2 things that's up. Your mom, dad, and Frostine will need to talk to you too. Lets go to my office." So I followed uncle to his office.

Mom, dad and Frostine were already there waiting for me. "What's up everyone. You have some serious faces." I said. "Its a serious matter Lucia." Said dad. I sat down and listened what they had to say. "Ok. Should I go first or do you want to go first Zayla. (Neve and Lucias' mom)" "You should probably go first." Said Mom. "OK. Lucia remember when we said we would tell you when you got better that we would tell you about the Fox prince?" I nodded yes. "Well now is the time to tell you about it." "All right. So what do I have to do?" "Well, its a little similar to the Fox princess. You will dream of your quest and will get powers. As for the quests, they are different." "Um question. When do I leave and when am I supposed to have this vision or dream thing." "I was getting to it." "Well hurry up already." "Lucia be patient please." Said Dad. I sighed. "Fine but hurry up." "OK now. Like the Fox princess, you will dream about it the same night you were told about it. As for the leaving, that is also in the fox prince's dream. That is a little different from the fox princess." "Ok and will there be anyone going with me? " "That's your mom's part to tell you." "Ok then. Mom?" "Alright."

Mom cleared her throat. "I got word from your uncle Zonan. He should be here by tomorrow afternoon to talk to you about training you to control your Nue form. Depending on when you go on your Quest, You may end up at the village before you go. We will know by tonight what comes first. As for who will be coming with you, your uncle knows what you are. He said he would help. As for the others, he said he would bring some of his buddies with him." "Hmm. I see." I thought long and hard for a moment and said, "All right then." "Lucia what are you doing." said Dad. "I'm going out. Don't worry I will be back tonight." "Lucia just where do you think you are going?" said Dad. "Don't worry about it. I'll be fine. Are you going to lecture me after I just got back after 10 years? Come on. I am 16 after all. I promise I will be back by dark don't worry." "Just be careful Lucia." said mom. "I will. I promise mom. See you guys later." So I left out the door.

I went to the old village my sister grew up in til she was 10 and I was born in. First place I went to was to see the elder. "Hello Elder." "Hello. Who may I be speaking too?" "Oh word must not have gotten here yet. Its been 10 years. Its me Lucia." "Lucia! Your back! Come on back please." "Yes sir." The elder was the same one since before Lucia went missing. "It really is you. My how you've grown." "Yeah. So I came here to see my cousin Lycan and apparently his wife Alyssa." "Why Yes certainly. I will send someone to escort you to Lycan's house." Then I saw one of my old friends. "J.J.? Is that you?" "Lucia? Is it really you?" "Yeah its me." "You haven't changed much." "Haha. I know." "OK ready to go see Lycan?" "Yeah." "Ok follow me."

A little while later, We came up to a house I don't remember seeing at all. A lot of these places I haven't seen. Its changed after 10 years. "Here we are. Lycan will be so happy you are back." "Thanks J.J" " Oh and one more thing. I go by Jaz now." "OK Jaz. We should hang out like old times sometime." "Yeah all of us old friends should do that again." "Ok I will leave you alone. Have fun." "Thanks man." I knocked on the door, (Knock Knock Knock knock knock knock knock) Tune: shave in a hair cut two bits. Lycan knew that knock and said "No way." He opened the door and looked shocked. "Lucia? Is that...You? Am I dreaming?" "Woah man. Yeah its me. Keep it together don't faint on me." "Sorry. Come on in." "Hey man. Welcome back." "Thanks. I have to be back before dark. I have to tell you something Lycan." Then Alyssa walked in. "Hey Alyssa." "Lycan who is this?" "You don't recognize him?" "Its Lucia. He just got back after 10 years." Alyssa dropped her things. "Really?" Alyssa grabbed me and hugged me. "Oh Lucia. I'm glad your back." "Ok Ok now. let the man breathe Alyssa." "Sorry." "So I was about to say, remember I am the fox prince?." Lycan nodded. "Well today I found out more. I found out tonight I would dream of my quest, and find out when in my vision dream thing tonight. I am also going to uncles. I found out I am a Nue before I got here. Uncle is supposed to train me at the Nue village. Uncle and a couple of his buddies are supposed to come with me on whatever Quest I am supposed to go on. I don't know when I will be back. My uncle is coming tomorrow afternoon. You both should come by tomorrow. Meet up with us." '" I don't see why not." Said Lycan. "Alyssa will you be ok enough to come?" " I think so. After all I am only in my first trimester and we haven't told anyone yet. Now would be a good time." "Wait. Your pregnant Alyssa?" "Congrats." "Thanks"

After awhile it was getting late and had to head back. "Well its getting late. I told mom and dad I would be home before dark. I will see you both tomorrow." "Good to see you again Lucia." "Yeah you both too." So I waved and ran back home.

"Hey uncle I'm home." I said. "Oh hello Lucia. Welcome back." "Where are mom and dad?" "They are out back." "OK thanks." I went outside to see mom and dad. "Hey mom and dad. I'm home." "Oh good. You made it back home." Said dad. "Yeah." I stretched out and said, "What's for dinner?" "Haha. Never thought I would hear that again. How we have missed you son." Said dad. "Yeah. I missed you guys too. Oh is sister going to be coming over tomorrow? I want to tell you guys what happened when I was kidnapped." "Alright then. Yeah she said she would be over around lunch time. She should be done with her drawing by then." "Oh so sis is doing her drawing for work. Good for her. I wonder how she does it with all those kids around." "Hahah. Yeah. She has a friend the kids stay with when she is close to a deadline. She has two kids herself that are teenagers. They help out." said dad.

Frostine said, "Dinners done! Everyone wash hands and head to the table!" "Finally. Dinner!" I said. I washed up and headed to the table. " Hey. This was my favorite dinner since I was little. Its still my favorite. Thanks Aunt Frostine." "Hehe. Your welcome Lucia. Its to welcome you back." "So when is Quinn supposed to be back?" "Oh we got word he would be back tomorrow night." "Wow everyone is coming tomorrow."

After dinner it was time to go to bed. I was supposed to be having the vision dream thing about my quest. "I'm heading to bed mom and dad. Night." "Night Lucia. See you in the morning." said Mom and Frostine. So I went to my room and got ready for bed.

While I was taking off my things for bed, I accidently knocked something down. I looked down and saw a picture. "Hmm. Could this be a picture my sister drew?" I opened it up and saw a picture of me and Neve." "Aww sis. Thanks. haha." I Chuckled. I put the picture on my bedside table, and went to sleep.

That night Lucia dreamt about his quest. "Hmm." He had a dream about taking something up a mountain. He was in a strange village he had never seen before. He wouldn't know which one it is, because a lot has changed in the ten years he had been missing. Then someone came up to him and he was looking down for a min and saw the persons feet. After that everything went black and he went to sleep. After that weird dream, he was able to sleep peacefully until morning.
