3 Chapter 3: Meeting Camilla after 10 Years

It was finally time to for Camilla to be off of work. Neve looked at the time. "Uncle Keelo! Its almost time for the surprise visitor!" "Is it that time already? OK then. Hey Frostine! Its almost time!" "Ok Coming!" Not long after there was a knock on the door. "Ok uncle. Frostine and I will be in front of Lucia, while you open the door." "Ok then." (knock Knock Knock) "I'm coming!" Said Keelo. "Oh hello there. Come on in." "Ok so what's the urgency/surprise." "Camilla. We have a surprise here behind us. Be gentle though." Said Neve. "Ok" Said Camilla confused. "Ready Camilla?" "Yes." "Ok on the count of 3 Frostine. Ready?" Frostine nodded. "1...2...3..." They said at the same time and moved.

"Lucia? Is that you?" "Yes its me. I have been gone a long time. I just returned yesterday." "Oh Lucia. I can't believe your back!" She gave me an easy hug since she saw I was injured and Neve warned her too as well. "So this is what Neve met by urgency. You were here and you were hurt. I wish I would have known sooner. I would have been here for you." "Its ok Camilla. Your here now. That's all that matters." I told her. "Thank you Neve. For telling me he was back." "Oh yeah. There is one more person I haven't seen. Where is Lycan?" "About Lycan, he moved to our old village. He ended up marrying one of our old friends." said Neve. "Oh and which old friends is that?" "He married Alyssa. I figured he would. I always saw the way he looked at her." "I guess eventually I will see them some time." "Well I'm glad everyone is doing well. Well except for Quinn. Any word on him yet?" "Actually in the middle of the night, we got word that Quinn woke up. They should be coming back home soon." said Neve. "Oh that's good." "Ok we will leave you two alone." Said Neve. "Have fun." Neve winked. "Sister! Geez. You never change." "Sorry about her Camilla." "Its ok Lucia."

We talked for a good long while. She told me she would be coming over after work everyday until I heal. Then we will be going back and forth to each others houses. "That's a cool Idea. In fact when I am well enough to come over, I need to talk to you about something important." "Yeah. Ok." "Well I better get going home. I told mom I would be awhile." "Ok well see you tomorrow then." "See you." "Oh you leaving Camilla?" Said Neve. "Yeah mom's waiting for me at home." "Ok then. See you tomorrow." "Yeah." She waved and headed home.

"Hey Lucia." Said Neve. "How is your wrist?" I was still in a thinking daze. "Lucia. Lucia?! Lucia? Lucia!" Neve called. "Huh? Sorry what did you say sis?" " I asked you how your wrist was." "Oh its fine." "Let me take a look." Neve took off my bandage on my wrist to look at it. "Well looks like the swelling has gone down a bit." Neve moved my wrist a little bit and I said "Tss" "Sorry does that hurt?" "Yeah a little." " On a scale of 1 to 10 how bad does it hurt?" "Between 4 and 5" "Ok Lets wrap it back up and we will check it tonight. Lets check your ankle now." Neve did the same thing to my ankle. "Ow." "On a scale of 1 to 10 how much pain?" "About the same as my wrist." "Ok then. I will wrap back up your ankle." "Anything else hurting Lucia?" "No not really." "Ok that's good."

"Hey Neve?" "Yes Lucia." "Do you still go into your fox form much?" "Yes when I need to or when I have fun. Why do you ask? Is everything ok?" "Yeah everything is fine. I was wondering. Once I am better, can I see your fox form? I haven't seen it in 10 years. I hardly remember anything 10 years ago other than you mom dad and the others that came. Also the whole family." "Yeah of course. I can show you. Lets get you better first." "Oh yeah. Uncle mom and dad are supposed to tell me more about the fox prince when I am better. Hopefully my quest is something else other than saving someone." "Yeah hopefully yours is safer than mine was." I saw Neve in a daze. "Hey sis? You ok?" "Hmm.." She said unconsciously. "Hey sis. Neve. Yo Neve!" "Huh? Sorry Lucia. What?" "After we talked about my mission being safer you spaced out." "Oh sorry. Yeah. I was remembering the journeys we went on." "Anyways its getting late. We should get you to bed." " I will get uncle and dad." "Alright." So dad and Uncle helped Lucia to bed.

The Next morning it was time to check my sprains again. Neve knocked on my door (knock knock). "Come in." I said. "Morning Lucia. How are you feeling today?" " I feel a lot better actually. " Neve took off my wrist bandage first. "Looks like the swelling is gone. How does it feel when I move your wrist?" "Well I would say its about a 1 now." "Wow you healed fast." "Yeah. I guess I do." "OK lets check your ankle." She took off my bandage on my ankle and moved it around. "Ow. That one still hurts a little bit. I would say about a 3 or 4 there." "Well the swelling is almost gone there. Lets wrap up your ankle." "Well if your wrist is better, I guess you can use uncles old cane to get around." "Thanks big sis." "Hehe. Your welcome. I miss the days you called me that." "Yeah I miss those days too. I missed all of you too. I am so mad at myself for not coming back sooner."

"Calm down Lucia. Remember Camilla is supposed to be coming by later today." "Yeah I know." "Ok I will let Uncle know about how you are doing, and get his cane for you ok?" "Yeah." Then Neve left the room.

"Hey uncle. Lucia's wrist is better. He should be able to use your old cane for awhile until his ankle heals." "Ok I will get my old cane. Be right back." It didn't take long for uncle to come back with the cane. "Thanks uncle. Thank god the kids are at Marina's it would be hard taking care of Lucia." "Hahah. It sure would." Neve headed for Lucia's Room. "Lucia its me." said Neve. "Come in sis." "Woah Lucia. Easy now. Here is the cane." "Thanks sis." I started walking around getting used to it.

It was finally time for Camilla to come over. (knock knock) "Coming!" Said Neve." "Oh hello Camilla. Lucia is on the couch. Come on in." Camilla came in and sat down by Lucia. "Is there anything you two need?" Said Neve. "No thanks." said Camilla. "You Lucia." "Actually can we go outside now that I can walk with a cane. I want to see your fox form." "Oh yeah. I said I would. Yeah let me finish up here and I will be out. You two go ahead on out." "Ok thanks sis."

We went outside on the bench and I said, "I asked to see sisters fox form. I haven't seen it since I was 6 before I got taken away." "Well I don't get to see it much myself. I work a lot." "Yeah I bet." Not long after Neve came out. "Ok I'm here. So you both want to see my form?" "Yeah that would be nice." said Camilla. Neve closed her eyes and turned to her fox form then opened them. Neve came over to me so I could pet her. "Wow. You are soft sister. Your are beautiful as well." "Oh that's right." Said Camilla. "Lucia. You said you wanted to see mine too didn't you." "Yeah." "OK here I go." She transformed into hers. "Wow your beautiful as well." " I sort of remember when you first turned human. When my sister broke the curse and made exceptions." "Yeah and I was afraid I would stay in my fox form forever." said Neve. "Actually Lucia. I had issues with that. I didn't want to turn human again. Everyone tried to help me. The one who really was able to was Aries." "Oh well then. I will have to thank him next time I see him." "Ok I will leave you two alone then." Neve turned human again and said, "I'm probably going to head home and pick up the kids. I got art to do. Dead lines." "I'm gonna stop inside the house and say goodbye to uncle and Frostine. If you need anything Lucia and Camilla, Let me know ok?" "We will big sis. Thanks." "Ok then. See you both soon."

Camilla transformed human again and sat down next to me. "Hey Camilla. There is something important about myself you should know. I haven't told you because I'm afraid you might not want to hang out anymore." "What is it Lucia? Its ok you can tell me." I took a deep breath and stuttered at first. "I-Its what I-I am." "Your a Nue right?" "How did you?" "Hehe. The way you looked it was pretty obvious. Since I met you and your sister, the mention of them scared you for awhile. There is something you should know about me as well. I am adopted. Quinn is not my blood brother." "Do you ever wonder what happened to your blood family?" "Sometimes yeah." "I told my sister. My uncle should be coming to get me soon to train me at the village. They are waiting until I am better, then mom will let him know and he will come here to get me. Also You know I am the Fox prince still right?" "Yes I know that much." "Well Uncle mom and dad are supposed to tell me how it works once my damn ankle stops hurting. I got hurt by being beat up in my Nue form. It took me until I was almost to the gate, to will myself human." "Its ok Lucia. Don't worry. I will stay with you." "I was going to wait until we got to your place, but I want to tell you now." I was so nervous I took a deep breath and talked fast. "Will you go out with me?" "What? I didn't catch that." " Will you go out with me?" I said slower. "I have thought about you since I was kidnapped. I thought of you and sister mostly. I figured you were dating someone by now. Once sister said you would wait for me. I was happy. I will tell you more if you say yes." "Hehe. I heard you the first time. I just wanted you to say it again. What took you so long." Then Camilla pulled me by my collar and kissed me. "Woah there Camilla." "Sorry did I hurt you?" "No. I was just shocked." "Hehe. Sorry. I have waited a long time for you to come back. I am just so happy your back." Camilla said in tears. I hugged Camilla until she calmed down. She wiped her tears and said, "Any news on my brother?" "Oh yeah. Neve said he should be on his way home soon." "Oh good. I'm glad."
