20 Chapter 20: Training Begins

It was time for me to finally get out of the hospital. "Finally I can get out of here." I said. Zeno and my sister were the ones that picked me up. "Hey sis and Zeno. Where is everyone else?" "Oh they either have work or hanging out somewhere." Said Neve. "Hey Lucia. How you feelin?" "Uh still a little sore. Should be good in about 2 or 3 days. I can't believe I have to wait that many days to do anything. That sucks." I pretended to pout. "Oh well. Shit happens." "Oh Lucia. You need to learn to watch that mouth. If you cuss at mom and dads they are gonna get on your butt about it." said Neve. "Well luckily I just moved here. Mom and dad won't be coming here any time soon and I won't be going there anytime either." "Haha. Lucky you." Said Neve. "OK you two settle down." said Zeno. "Haha" "Heheh" We both laughed. "OK dad." I said Jokingly to Zeno. "Hey I'm no dad. I'm a brother. Apparently the older one here since you two are the children." "Haha very funny Zeno." "You two are close huh?" Said Neve. "Yeah ever since we got the sword up to the cave I had a chat with him and we clicked." "Lucia is right. Like I said, in human years I am a year younger than him."

We finally got to uncle Zonan's. "Hey uncle Zonan! What's cookin?!" "Oh hey Lucia. Good to see you back in one piece. I made some Lunch." "Hmm. Smells like meat." "It sure is. The best meat in town. with some veggies. Gotta have the healthy stuff after just leaving the hospital." "Aww man. I thought you were cool." "Haha. I am cool. I promised your ma I would look after you, your kid, and Camilla." "I know uncle you don't have to keep reminding me. The doc said I can't do very much for at least 3 days till the pain is gone." "That's too bad. Oh your training is going to start when you are better as well. We are going to do it in the open field with the weeds." "Uh fine. I think I better head back to Camilla and Zaylen. They must be worried." "OK kid. Take it easy for 3 days." "You know me uncle I can't do that. I will try at least." "Don't hurt yourself any worse than you already are Lucia." Said Zeno. "Yes I know. Come on Neve." "Coming Lucia."

As we were walking, I saw my sister in thought 'Hmm. I wonder how Vain is doing.' Neve said to herself. "Hey Neve. What are you thinking about?" "Oh remember the boy I told you about? The boy named Vain?" "Yeah what about him?" "Well he lived in the village. I wonder were he is now? After I drop you off with Camilla I'm going to check with the elder." "If you do find him let me know. He sounded like a cool guy." "Hehe. Of course Lucia. I will let him know."

We finally made it to the Evans house. "Well thanks sis. Sorry to have to make you come all this way." "Oh you know me little bro. I will go to the ends of the earth for you." "Yeah I know sis thanks. Hey Sis before you go, What happened to Tyson? The guy you told me about." "Oh about 2 years ago he got into a fight and had gotten killed. I was shocked when it happened." " I'm sorry sister." "Its ok Lucia. It happened a while back.' How is that new arm of yours doing?" "Oh its doing ok. Still getting used to it though." "OK well see you sister." Then Neve left for the Elder.

"Hey everyone I'm home!" The boys ran up to me and were all over me. They wanted to play. "Sorry boys I have to rest for 3 days. Then I have training and work to do. I'll tell you what? When I am better, I will play with you before I train with Zonan ok?" "Yay! OK Lucia." said Tony. "Sorry about that." Said Zack. "Oh its fine. My sister has twins a boy and girl then 2 of my friends just had babies when I get back I will have worse. I am in a little pain but I will be fine. I gotta take it easy for 3 days. Where is Camilla and Zaylen?" "Oh they are at the park right now. You should rest Lucia. We will take care of you until she gets her ok?" said Zadia. "Thanks Zadia. Thanks Zack. For everything." "Sure. NO problem." Said Zack. "Can you make it up there ok?" "Yeah I think so thanks." So I walked up holding the railing to help me.

I got in bed and laid down to wait for Camilla and Zaylen to come home. Not long after I decided to rest my body, I hear Camilla's voice. "Hello. We are home. Has Lucia come back yet?" "Yeah he's in the room resting. He has to rest for about 3 days." said Zadia. "Thanks Zadia we will go up to see him." So they walked up.

Camilla opened the door and saw Lucia fast asleep. "Aww so cute. He looks so innocent. Looks like daddy's sleeping lets be quiet for daddy ok?" Camilla put Zaylen down and sat next to Lucia on a chair beside the bed. "Oh Lucia." She whispered. "You need to slow down so you don't get hurt. You are just so reckless." She kissed Lucia on the head and he started waking up. "Hmm." "Sorry did I wake you?" "A little bit but its fine. I heard your voice when you came home, but I fell asleep." "I'm sorry you should go back to sleep." "No I'm up now. Hey can I see Zaylen for a bit?" "Your not in too much pain?" "I am in a little but not enough not to hold him." "ok then. Hey little man. Daddy wants to see you." "Here is our son."

"Hey little man. You been good for mommy or giving her a hard time?" "Haheha." Baby Zaylen laughed. "Hahaha. You gave mommy a hard time huh? Well its ok. Daddy gives mommy a hard time too. Almost all the time." I hugged my little boy and kissed his forehead. "Ok little man daddy needs to rest a little more. Here mommy." Camilla came by and got Zaylen from Lucia. I lifted up my shirt, my wound was still there but not bad.

"Hey Camilla. Once you put Zaylen down in the pen, come look at this." Camilla put Zaylen in the pen and came to see what I wanted to show her. I lifted up my shirt where my wound was and showed her. "Damn Lucia. You going to be ok?" "Oh yeah. Its actually a lot better than it was." "Well its definitely going to scar." "I got plenty of scars but this one is the biggest. I would like to call the big one a battle scar which it is." "Oh Lucia. Just don't hurt yourself and get anymore ok? If your son saw you getting hurt then he will do crazy stuff to do the same. He might even get killed doing something so stupid." "Don't worry about it Camilla. I will protect our son with my life. You know that." "Your life it what scares me. You doing enough stupid things one day will kill you." "Oh Camilla. I am only 17 I will probably do more stupid things that hopefully won't kill me. I start work in 3 days Blacksmithing." "Yeah I know. Is there anything you need Lucia?" "Not right now thanks." "Ok I will take Zaylen out so you can sleep ok?" "Thanks Camilla. See you later." So they left so I could sleep.

Three days later it was my first time to black smith in a while. "Ok off to work guys. Bye Camilla." I gave Camilla a kiss. The boys saw and said, "Eww gross." "haha. Its ok kids. Once your older you will understand. Bye Zaylen." I gave him a kiss on the forehead and left.

"Hey everyone! I'm ready to work!" I shouted. The boss heard my voice and came out of his office. "Well I'll be damned. You decided to live here after all." " Yeah. We are living with the Evans." "Those weird bunch. Well all right then. Lets get you to work. You are going to work with Jax here." "Hey Lucia. Welcome back officially." "Thanks Jax." "Jax its been awhile for him. If he doesn't know something help the guy." "Sure thing boss." So I started working.

Work was finally over, I headed back to the Evans to clean up a bit. "Hey I'm home." I said. The boys again ran up to me. They saw me dirty and stopped. "Sorry I'm dirty boys. Let me get a shower and then I'll play ok?" "Yay." So I got a shower.

"So what do you boys like to play?" The boys whispered to each other and told me they wanted to wrestle. "Ok then boys. Bring it on." So I played with them a bit and said, "Ok I have to go now. My first day of training with a sword. Hey Zack and Zadia. Maybe you two can bring the boys and watch us?" "You know that would be a good idea." Said Zack. "You go ahead Lucia we will be there in a bit." "Ok see you there." So I left for uncle Zonan's.

"Sorry I'm late uncle." "How was work?" said Zonan. "It was fine. I'm working with this guy named Jax he's a cool guy. Sorry to say uncle but I might be this late everyday. I told the kids that I would play with them after work, then see you after." "Well just don't make it too much later." "I will try not to." So we headed out to the field for training.

"OK Lucia. I am assuming you learned some sort of training from Smoker and others." "Yeah I have. I just hope I'm not rusty." "OK then I will go easy at first, then once I know you can do better, I will go harder ok?" "Yeah lets go." So we started sword play. Cling clang clash.

The Evans and Neve showed up. "Oh hello Mr. and Mrs. Evans" Said Neve. "Oh Neve good to see you. Who do you have here?" "Oh sorry. This is Vain. We are old friends." "Really? That's little Vain?" "Hey guys. I came to see Lucia train." "Yeah so did we and our sons." Said Zack. The boys cheered for Lucia. "Go go Lucia beat that guy up!" I heard the kids and got better then I heard my sister and did even better.

"Ok Lucia. I'm going to go harder on you alright." "Lets do this uncle." So he went a medium length on Lucia which was where he was at the moment. In the future he will do better. "Ok one more pace up be ready Lucia. Your not used to this." "Bring it on old man." "Ha we'll see about that." So he went harder on Lucia.

Both of them were tired. Lucia won 2 rounds. Uncle won the last one. We were both panting cause we were tired. I fell down out of exhaustion. "Hey...Lucia. You.....Alright?" said uncle. "Yeah....Just tired. I think.... I will .... rest here a bit." "Yeah good idea." So we both rested a bit there.

Once we calmed down, I was so exhausted I just wanted to go to bed. "Well uncle lets do this again tomorrow. I think I'm going to go home eat some dinner and go to bed." "I'm going to do the same." said uncle.

"Hey sis. Is this Vain?" "Yeah isn't it cool. He's a trainer now for those who need help with the Nue situation." "Hey man. Nice to finally meet you." "Likewise Lucia. "said Vain. "Hey maybe on one of my days off we can hang out?" " That would be cool." "ok cool. See you tomorrow sis. Oh and tell Smoker and the others to come watch as well." "Will do Lucia. See you tomorrow."
