[That felt… Strange.]
Seth mused, his gaze locked on his dimly glowing aura-covered fist, which should have plunged into Henry's abdomen.
He then lifted his eyes to find Henry's figure rapidly vanishing into the distance.
His Ki should have seeped into Henry's body and erupted, destroying him from the inside out but it was instead repelled.
But such a thing should not be possible for a mere D-rank at the augmentation stage.
He furrowed his brows.
[Perhaps it is the blade?]
Seth speculated, the special blade playing a part was the only thing that made sense.
[I will take it from his corpse!]
He greedily licked his lips and his eyes flickered with excitement.
"How strange…"
Bernard mumbled, stroking his chin and analysing what had just transpired.
[Just who is that child? Internal Ki control should not be possible at his level, did he figure it out at the last second in order to survive?]
He mused, the corner of his lips twisting up.
