The world sure is a scary place full of different things and different people. Humans, mutants, supernatural beings, monsters, animals, sources of evil, magic and sorcery. Different events take place, most of which is never planned to happen. In this world, there are mostly humans. But the other creatures blend in with them and try to live quietly. They have their own organization, and leaders to keep everyone in check. Of course, there will be rebels who think differently or want more than they already have. Humans hunt most of them down, out of curiosity to use them as a subject of experiment or to gain power out of greed. It all depends on what the creature is.

There are creatures called werewolves. A lot of people probably knows about them and most humans don't believe in their existence and still think it's a myth. They actually do exist, and they have their own organizations and packs. Werewolves are known for their awesome abilities. They can shift to wolves, of course every wolf has their wolf forms. They have great speed, strength, healing abilities and a common ability of bonding. They could read each other's thoughts and sometimes humans.

There are the most powerful ones in this part of the world. The Alphas, the Betas, Gammas and so many more. Especially the omegas who are considered the weakest and most unwanted according to human thinking. Wrong. The most unwanted are the rouges, who are sent away from all packs and all association with them are cut off.

In the wolf world, there are a total of twelve packs. They all come together every year to hold an important gathering to worship the gods. During this time, every alpha's marriage must be performed in this ceremony. This is the most important gathering of the wolves, every pack except the Silver Moon pack are going to attend.

The Silver Moon pack are the only ones bold and disrespectful enough to refuse joining the ceremony according to the other packs. They are looked down on and avoided by all the packs. The reason why they are avoided is because the Silver Moon pack are powerful wolves. Therefore, other packs are afraid of them and only dare to discuss about the Silver Moon pack in private, and don't dare to call them.

Kara stared at herself in the mirror for the umpteenth time, her warm palms on her smooth fair rounded cheeks. Her day was drawing so near, the day that she would finally be a Luna. The day that she would belong to whom her heart truely loved and she hoped he felt the same way too. He acted like he did around her though.

" You will look so good as a bride." Her friend, Hannah said as she placed both palms on Kara's shoulders.

" You think he will like me?." She asked anxiously. She was fat after all and she was scared he wouldn't like her for her.

" Come on, you know he does. Alpha Olive is so crazy about you. He must be so happy right now." Hannah assured her. Alpha Olive was a nice guy after all and he had always treated her friend well.

" I'm nervous Hannah, so nervous. Is this how it feels."

" How what feels? Oh you mean getting married.' She said and laughed softly when Kara nodded. ' How should I know? I'm single after all.'' She added a dry laugh to cover up the pain in her voice.

" Be serious for once Hannah." Kara yelled in a baby voice and hit Hannah's right hand playfully. She only used that when she wanted a response urgently.

" Okay okay I will. Hummm My Mother once told me that she almost bailed out on her wedding day cause she was nervous so yes. It's normal Kara, feel it all. Wish I could too though." She said and laughed it off.

" You will get to be a Luna too one day, i know that for sure. Your Alpha would be so lucky." Kara said and sent her a warm smile.

" Enough talk about me, let's talk about you. It's your big day after all. I will miss you when you leave." She said sadly and wrapped her arms around Kara's shoulders, bending down to place her chin in the middle of her head.

" It's still till tomorrow you know." Kara teased and chuckled softly. She would miss her too, she would miss her too much. Hannah was her only best friend, that one friend that really understood her. She had met her in a rather weird funny circumstance and both of them had laughed over it. The whole tale was definitely a story for another day.

" Don't remind me, it only makes it worse. " Hannah weeped, her sobs quiet.

" Come on Hannah, don't cry. It's gonna make me want to cry too." She replied, her voice shaking already.

" But I can't help it." She said with the tears still rolling.

Kara squeezed Hannah's right palm softly, forcing a smile out while the tears flowed down. The duo cried for a while.

" Stop crying already. It makes you look ugly." Hannah whispered and smiled painfully.

" Then you should see yourself in the mirror." Kara replied jokingly and they both broke into a laugh.

Hannah's eyes drifted to the diamond necklace hanging on the neck of the mannequin.

" Waw! How did I miss that?." She yelled and walked over to it, running her hand over it. It was so beautiful and looked breathtaking. Its sparks warming her heart. She was sure Alpha Olive must have got it for her since it was the duty of the Alpha's family to get the Luna's accessories. It was to be a sign that she was welcome into the family.

" Hmm hmm. It escaped my mind, I would have told you." Kara replied. She wasn't really a fan of necklaces but she loved expensive wears instead.
