The Forsaken Era

Roy was alone and tired, he wanted to end it, he knew his life was terrible and he just couldn't take it anymore, he just wanted to stop existing only for him to end up in a land far worse than his old one. This is a low fantasy leaning more into the post-apocalyptic sci-fi world to summarize the back story of the world the mc gets Isekai'ed to it goes something like this: The original civilization on earth ends 1000 years in the future. The future earth is now so advanced that they can send colonists to distant planets. The colonists’ first mission, there, to colonize a new planet not too far off the solar system. The colony there thrives for close to a decade until research on robots starts. The robots rebel, wiping out most of the population and turning the remaining humans into slaves for the next hundred years. This goes on until the robots get into a war, wiping out a large portion of themselves in the process and allowing the humans to break free. Now, with only a few robots remaining, earth sends a second smaller colony. However by the time they get there the earth is gone. So the second colony, with those recognized as the royals almost gods to the humans of the planet, use their advanced tech to rule over a particular area of the world and as 100 years have passed, the world has gotten more and more advanced. The robots and the advanced technology built by the original scientists are now a thing of the past, with the people on the planets nowadays just scraping them. Only specific individuals, such as the royal family, have knowledge from before the current age, with most of the world having broken off into different factions. Roy will have to transverse through slavery, racism, and betrayal and use his wits to survive in this post-apocalyptic world he finds himself in. Art Credit : Desert by Mark Makovey
