Chapter 21: Lucifer's Announcement
Most of you will notice I changed the title already, I wanted to do The Forgotten One, but it was already taken so I made do. Also this will be the last chapter before a time skip to the war. I will go ahead and say that I'm going to skip the R-18 scenes for each of the girls who haven't had one yet and just say that sometime in the time skip it will happen. Obviously the one exception being Inanna who isn't in a relationship with Valerian yet. I might also make an exception for during the war with Asame as her first time. I'll figure it out.
With that being said, I can either do a few different things. One being a bonus chapter in the future that has them all in it, which will come from some power stone goal. Or I can make a Patr3on and put them there, maybe along with some advanced chapters. I'll figure it out in the future. Really depends on the amount of time I have, especially since for like two months I have to take double classes plus my job. I'm leaning more towards the Patr3on for obvious reasons.
On a Side note I looked at Asame's picture and realized how much it sucked, so I looked for a different one and found one that is a lot better, but you will have to imagine her with gold eyes instead of the ones she has. Provided it actually lets me post it since posting from a PC is weird when it comes to pictures.

Arriving at the frozen lake, there were a few Ice Wolves running around in packs, but they were avoiding us like the plague, while Snow eagles were flying around the sky searching for scraps.
"So, anything catch your eye?" I asked Grayfia who was looking around at the various creatures with disinterest.
"No, all these creature's are-" Just as she was about the finish her sentence, a loud screech was heard, causing all of us to turn our heads in the direction. In the sky, there was a large, white lion like creature with wings and an eagle's head that was carrying a now dead snow eagle in its mouth. Currently, It was flying towards the peak of the nearby mountain with it's latest catch.
"How about that one?" Kouko questioned as it was flying away.
"From the look of it, the Snow Griffon just reached high-class, so it should be a good match for you Grayfia. Plus it's stronger than a lot of creatures you will find that you can currently get. Any of the other ones will be at least ultimate class. Actually, you're pretty lucky, as snow griffons are born as high middle class and leave their nests when they are breach into high class, so this one must be extremely young." My mother followed up.
She nodded and decided she would get it as her familiar. Spreading out her wings, she launches into the air and headed towards the mountain peak. We quickly followed behind her, but stayed a distance away once we reached the peak so she could do this alone.
The griffon, which had arrived at the peak a few minutes ago, was feasting on the hawk by ripping the flesh from its bones and swallowing it in chunks, which it was already half done with.
Grayfia flew up to it, not bothering to hide herself and sent her intention of making it her familiar. Normally, this works if there is a large enough power gap. However, considering that Grayfia is a Peak High-class devil and the Griffon is a Low High-class, the power difference isn't that much different.
At least that would normally be the case. Grayfia might only be a High-Class, but her actual combat power is closer to ultimate class since she has such good control, technique and our spars have helped her develop a decent instinct while fighting as well.
At first, the griffon paused it's meal before looking at Grayfia, it narrowed its eyes and screeched, before running at her and swinging it's claws towards her. She easily dodged it and pulled out her war fans from her dress, slamming one end of the still closed fan into the chest of the griffon, sending it flying back.
I could vaguely sense demonic energy spreading into her arm and fan, reinforcing both. Though judging by the little amount of energy, she had only just done this, not when she hit the griffon. The griffon, which recovered from the hit fairly quickly, stood up and once again charged at her, but this time it's claws were glowing with a pale blue sheen with a chilling mist bleeding off of them.
The beast swung it's claws downwards, much faster than before, which caused Grayfia to open her fan and deflect the slash to the side of her. She brought the same fan down in an arc, causing the bladed edge to slash through the thick hide of the griffons side, creating a large gash.
The griffon squawked in pain spinning and slashing at Grayfia, who had already stepped back and formed a large ice spear that shot and cut through the griffon's right wing. The beast reeled back in pain and Grayfia sped forward, intending to end the fight. Closing her fan once again, she pushed more energy into her fans, which caused them to shine in a similar light to the griffon's claws. She slammed the side of the fan into the beast's ribs, flinging it into the nearby rocks.
Unlike the time before, the griffon didn't recover nearly as fast. It was bleeding profusely and when the snow that was launched into the air settled, the griffon could be seen with half of it's body covered in a sheet of ice and the other side with a large gash and a missing wing. It was still conscious, but in no shape to continue fighting. Grayfia walked over to it and once again relayed her intentions to form a familiar contract, which the griffon responded by lowering it's head to her. She Dropped a bit of her blood on the griffon's forehead, and the contract was formed. The griffon's wounds quickly recovered.
It stood up and nuzzled its beak in her stomach, which caused her to smile and pet it before looking at all of us, and we were already approaching her. "Good Job. The fight was really well done." I said to her as I landed and wrapped my arm around her waist. She smiled and gave me a quick peck on the lips, "Thank you Val. Now that we all have our familiars, I guess we can head home?"
Hearing her question I nodded in affirmation, and summoned a teleportation circle under us back to our home. Once we arrived, we dispersed for a while to let the others bond with their familiars, while I moved into my room to check on Tiamat, who was still asleep.
I sat down on the bed and poked her cheek, causing her eyelids to flutter. She opened her eyes and smiled when she saw me. I leaned down and planted a kiss on her soft lips before pulling back and started stroking her hair. "Everyone else is back if you want to meet them. I think your future sisters will want to meet you nonetheless." I said to her.
She nodded in agreement before she got up and got dressed. "Come on, I want to meet the others!" She said, rushing me out of the room. I laughed and followed her out to the living room. Sitting her down on the couch, I told her to wait while I went and got the others. Within five minutes all other girls had made it into the living room and were talking lively with Tiamat, who was equally as excited.
The last to enter the room was my mother, who had an apologetic smile on her face. "I'm sorry to do this right now Tiamat, but Valerian, Serafall, Kouko, Grayfia and I have to go. I didn't realize how long it had taken us at the familiar forest, but we have a revealment party for one of my friend's son. He turned five today and it starts in an hour and a half. Though Inari and Inanna don't have to come and they can show you around." She said directing it at the dragoness.
"It's no problem Lady Maara, we can talk more later." Tiamat said back with a smile.
My mother rolled her eyes, "Just call me Asame, or sister, I don't really care which just not Lady Maara. We are going to be sisters in the future anyways."
Tiamat's eye brow shot up but she quickly went back to normal and nodded, "Sure thing Asame."
With that, the five of us left, meeting up with Serafall's and Grayfia's parents before my mother made a teleportation circle under us. We arrived at a place I had never been before, but I quickly recognize from the anime, the Gremory Mansion.
We walk inside and the first person to greet us was Venelana Gremory, with a small boy behind her with red hair that reached his shoulders next to her who bowed and introduced himself. This was none other than Sirzechs Gremory, though I did notice that Zeoticus was nowhere to be found, which caused me to frown.
"Lady Gremory, where is Lord Gremory?" I asked her with a tone of curiosity, though I didn't really care whether he was there or not. She gave a weak smile and spoke, "He's taking care of some, 'business'. He will be here soon." Understanding what she meant, I gave her a sympathetic smile, which was mirrored by my mother and we continued talking for a while until other guests started to arrive, and Venelana had to leave to greet them as well.
The ones who followed in behind us were actually the Belphegor and Abaddon clans. Once they were done with their greetings, they immediately came over to use and greeted us. But while the rest went off to greet others, Roygun stayed next to me and started a conversation with my lovers, not that I minded.
The night passed quickly as nothing much of note happened other than catching up with a few friends I had made at my revealment party, which admittedly wasn't very many, only a rare few. Though towards the end of the party, Lucifer, who had only arrived a few minutes before stood up and everyone quieted down. The father of devils, seeing he had everyone's attention, made an announcement, "While I was planning on doing this in the next few days, seeing as everyone is already here I might as well make this announcement here. Prepare your houses for war, the tension with the angels and fallen could snap at any point. That's all, it was a lovely party Zeoticus, but I have other matters to attend to." He said arrogantly as he left the party with a smile. Though to his credit the other Satans hadn't even bothered to show up at the party.
After his announcement, the party's atmosphere had died and everyone who didn't know of this beforehand had somber expressions on their faces, while the ones who did made quiet talk amongst themselves.
Seeing this, Venelana stood up and gathered everyone's attention, "After Lord Lucifer's announcement, it would be best if everyone started preparations immediately, so I thank everyone for coming and hope you had a wonderful evening." She said with a smile, politely telling everyone to get the fuck out of her house.
Though everyone knew this, they didn't blame her as they had already planned on leaving after the announcement was made. The hall was quickly cleared leaving only our group, which Venelana made her way over to Roygun and I with a smile, "Thank you for coming tonight. I honestly wasn't expecting all of you to come, and I wouldn't have blamed you if you didn't."
I gave her a smile, "Don't mention it, your friends with our parents, it's only natural we would come." As I finished my sentence, the others walked over with their parents, whom they spent much of their night catching up with and spending time with. Even though we haven't married yet, Serafall and Grayfia spent most of their time at our house and they already lived there permanently, only going back for visits.
"Well, thank you for the invite Venelana, I'm glad we could meet your son, but we have preparations to make for this war as well, so unfortunately we have to leave." My mother said with a smile, pulling Venelana into a friendly hug, followed by Zira and Anala doing the same. This entire time I hadn't seen Zeoticus except for when Lucifer was here.
I shook my head as they finished saying their goodbyes and we all left for our respective houses to prepare for the war.

Ok I'm going to do a little mini rant here, though I don't know if it classifies as a rant. Why the fuck are there so many DxD waifus. I mean seriously, I already have like 15 in mind. That's not even counting the other worlds he will be going to, this is JUST DxD. I really don't want this to be a pokemon harem, and I want the characters to matter, but it's so hard skipping some of the characters. Like I don't plan to have Akeno, Lavinia, Kushia, Sona, Subaki, Rias, Asia, and one I really wanted to add, which is Seekvaria, since she is never used, but I don't want to add anymore. I mean fuck I'm debating not even adding Gabriel. I have a few ways to do it, pretty easily, but I don't know if I will. I know I added like 3 characters, two of which are OCs, that aren't from DxD but it's still a lot. I'm afraid that by the end of this his harem is going to be like 40+ women, It would be hard as hell to keep track of that and remember to give them all ample time without like 20 filler chapters between each real chapter. I might end up just limiting myself to 1 or 2 from each universe after this, which was already somewhat of my plan but now I'm even more affirmed in that.
