8 Chapter 8: First Use Of Attribute

The two weeks holiday have passed, and the curriculum start, for the students who have gone through thick and thin together they become familiar and created a bond similar to a organization, however still as a hotblooded youth they posses a rivalry between themself.

The school promotes that rivalry by making a duel system between students, one can request a duel from someone, and that someone can make the bet, when losing the losing side have to comply with the bet, whatever the bet is.

Countless students will request Licht for a duel and they are single handedly lose to him, as expected of the protagonist.

For Leon he have a more pressing matter, he look at his chat log.

'one week' that's the scheduled time he will meet with one of the most important person in this world, the head of Gaia.

The biggest merchant guild in this world, in his original story the daughter of that person is sick with a disease called Magic Poisoning, that disease is really a painful way to die, but as someone who have conquered all market in the world did he give up ? Of course no he tried and tried but it's been more than 3 years since then.

And as the author of this story he knows exactly what is the cure, even if that didn't work his Attribute can be used for this.

However he know, he have to tell the truth infront of that person, he have to lead the conversation so that person will not ask about his power, if he did then that will be nightmare.

He need power, and for that a shortcut is present, he look at the credit shop. As the biggest and strongest Hero School Leviathan provide their students with many resource however each of them have to be exchanged with credits, and that credits have to be obtained by doing work. Leon currently is seeing a paper, this paper is considered supreme quality paper, not because of it's material, but because of it's history.

This papyrus can be traced back to two thousands years ago, no one know how this papyrus can stand the vestige of time and they only discover a total of one hundred papyrus. Those papyrus only been treated as collection.

He look at his credits and smile, all first year students get ten thousand credits as a reward for having completed the event with complete number as for Leon he got a bonus 5 thousands from Licht and Kazuki which make him able to buy a papyrus, and he immediately click to buy it.

One hour later the package arrived through drone, he open it and see a old papyrus strangely it's not brittle, it's sturdy and can be used as writing material.

He take out his pen and start writing on it.

He activated his Attribute and his pen glowed.

And within speck of lights the papyrus dissapear from this world and enter his body. Suddenly his body feel unusually hot and he feel pain.

"Ugh" but this pain is meager compared to the pain he felt when he used God's Wrath, why he choose Assasination ?, Because it's the most suited for him. A forgotten character like him.

Then suddenly with a heavy feeling he sleep.

The next day.

He woke up soundlessly, the sun haven't come out yet but he suddenly woke up. He check his body if anything is wrong and he become surprised to find his sound of breathing and even his beating heart is soundless, he try to walk and he the same as before he become surprised when he can't even make a sound on the floor even after he jump up and down.

"It works" he become happy after all making the papyrus as a subtitude for the sacrifice is nothing but a thought, but it work just fine.

Feeling his Art working just fine, he then remember a scene where someone kill 3 people with only nothing but a pen, he become hopeful.

"Maybe I could do it" but he immediately shook that thought, killing ?, Well that's not something he would do right now.

He know that he didn't need practice with it, he only need to know the full extent of his ability. Which he don't know yet and maybe he will not know even.

He take a bath and want to try running outside. Leviathan Island is really big, and the school provide many facility including track field which spanned almost 30 km, that was really a great way to waste money, for maintenance the island have robots and drone to do it, after all as humans with Attribute appear the speed in technological advancement quicken.

After changing his cloth into a track suit he do a light scretching only to realize he have grown taller than before. He is exactly 180cm tall before but now, he it's approximately 186cm which make him really tall, and with his lean muscular body he looks fit.

He goes to the track field, the track field is not that far from the dormitory so in 20 minutes he reach it by walking. Then without any hesitation he start to run, his body begin to pick up speed, his feet kicking the ground and as if flying he cross the distance of over 20 meter just by a step, he kick the ground as hard as he could but his action can't make any sound as if there's something that prevent him from making any sound, he smiled. His art helping him as he run, it help him to pick up speed.

He left after images behind him he can feel the wind parted away as if the law of physics is being ignored by his body.

'but then is not possible !' as great as art is, it's restricted. But he didn't know that the moment he choose to master the Art of Assasination through the use of his Attribute, it makes his art capable of doing just that.

Then without any warning he stop suddenly, his body suddenly stop just like that, he then sit on the ground and panted heavily but his breathing still carry rythm to it.

When he look back, he have traverse half of the track field in just a few minutes, but he didn't get cocky, running like this will never beat instant teleportation after all.

After confirming his overall speed he smiled. he open his status and then his smile froze when he see his status.
