6 Chapter 6: Eternal Night

After a few hours of meditation, and the clock reached 12. A new day comes, but what this day entailed is a fight those freshman will have to face.

Thick black fog shot up into the sky, and creating a barrier in this, that fog looks omnious.

Inside this area three points of light can be seen, the three oasis holy blessing is activating, the light become greater in intensity as time passed.

Countless corpses shot up from the ground and they move directly toward one of the lights, the east light. It seems they are atteacted by the aura of the living there.

Leon feeling the blessing of Licht enveloping his body he feel a little confident, but he know himself well, don't talk about killing, fighting against someone is something that he never done before, at least in fist fighting.

However one thing is certain, he'll have to fight. For targets the only limitation is to known the target true name, as for area you have to experience it, and for him who want to destroy the magical power in this area, he have to experience it himself. The devil magical power is on standby at the edge of the area making a circular barrier that deny the access of anything, of course Leviathan know this so they specifically brought barrier master and a couple of the teacher on the outskirt of this area.

Leon have to go toward the edge and absorb the Devils magical power so he can experience it, it will be not a easy matter, because he have to do this within Eternal Night duration.

Leon with superhuman ability run toward the nearest edge on the east, he take out the dagger, that is the form taken by God's Wrath.

Even if it's look ordinary, the sharpness is incredible as for the durability, of course it's indestructible.

He see a Walker, the Walker is not like zombie where they move slowly, Walker in this world can run, and have the ability when they once live, so he have to becareful.

He run at his fastest speed, which really is fast, and strangely the Walker seems doesn't care about him, he bypass a Walker when he run but that Walker didn't even glance at him and only continue to run toward the oasis.

"That's good" he smiled, he have gotten used to this body so he can use it effectively.

Even then the distance of over 40 km is not something anyone can quickly travel.

When he got tired he have to slow down his pace, so he didn't lose stamina.

After a few hours he finally have arrice on the edge of the area, the barrier is a circular barrier that cover the sky, this barrier can be destroyed by barrier master, it's not so amazing barrier what really amazing is what inside the barrier itself.

He put his hand on it and absorb the magical power actively, he feels absolutely disgusted, it feels like something cold and slimy is drifting across his body, and it's a little painful, however this much can't make any damage to his body.

'now I believe I can do it, however let it be tomorrow' the freshman is holding the Walker just fine, and even if he did destroy the magical power, those Walker will still be the same, possesing semi immortality and all.

Those Walker will not comes to him because he is really on the edge of the area, so he meditate to recover his stamina, of course he didn't try to suicidaly absorb the surrounding magical power, because instead of bringing him strength these magical power will bring damage to his body if he absorb it in great quantity.

Few hours passed, the Eternal Night becoming more ferocious, but Licht's power makes the fight easier, because of that the freshman regarded Licht as the leader. With his leadership and support they feel no fear even when facing countless Walker.

The golden light enveloping them replenish their magical power and stamina, healing them and also strengthening their attack, they become more confident.

The fight isn't that hard with Licht support then.

The Eternal Night passed peacefully, and just before the Eternal Night passed, Leon stood up and take out God's Wrath.

He point the blade into his chest and he stab it into his chest without hesitation. the dagger pierced his heart and he spurt out mouthfulls of bloods.

[What do you wish ?]

"Area destroyment, Devils Magical Power annihilation" he say exasperated, word by word, the pain is really painful, not only that this will become more painful.

With his body as the medium, God's Wrath use the required sacrifice to destroy the enviroment, golden light filled with destructive power envelope him, the blessing from Licht completely destroyed, his eyes shining and bulging, all his blood vessel highlighted because of the golden energy. Like a wave this golden energy passed through the sky, the ground and the air, everything in this area is being enveloped by this golden energy. Pains so torturous immediately assault his mind, he can't faint even if he want to, he can't stop it even if he want to, there's not stopping it when he have already use the God's Wrath, and the pain will forever haunt him.

The countless Walker already been annihilated by the freshman, none of it can pose a threat to them, but when they see the golden energy sweeping through the battlefield, like a fire consuming wood, they become afraid, the fog that been touched by the golden energy dissapeared as of it's never exist, they feel the power of greater existance within that golden energy. Within short amount of time, the golden light has annihilated the Devils magical power.

And Leon he fainted and fell to a coma, God's Wrath already tasted his blood, and already been absorbed by him.

Maybe because of how he is on the edge of the area, he is discovered first and he is put on intensive care unit, his physical ability deterioating, his lifespan is consumed, all his magical power dissapeared, he can't feel a thing as his consciousness wander in darkness.

The teachers greet the students, and they tell about this incident, that one of the students fell into coma state.

Kazuki and Licht who heard this news is filled with shock, Kazuki feel it shouldn't be possible, after all it's that Leon.

Opposite of him, Licht is filled with guilt, ha have make a greater blessing for Leon in hope he will be okay, but he still end up in coma, guilt so great that he choke is filling him. Kazuki who see Licht like this, tell him it will be okay.

"It's Leon we talking about, don't worry" even though they have a little conflict at first and don't know that much about each other, they already feel intimacy with each other.

"Yes, you are right, let's visit him when we arrive"

Guided by their seniors and teachers, they exit the area. Warm welcoming is being prepared for them, but Kazuki and Licht is not on the mood to appreaciate that.

Finally the first event for the first year students is concluded.
