5 Chapter 5: Pre-Eternal Night

"I feel like so much time has passed inside the trial of Hidden Tower" Licht let out a sigh and then he smile, as the one who know Licht the best, Leon knows what Licht have to go through, in opposite direction he is completly oblivious at Kazuki trial, but he know what his true fear, however that may not be the content of his trial.

"It maybe rude but what did you guys get ?" Licht sounded a little polite, maybe it's from the experience within the trial, he seems a little more calm and mature, in his hand a sword with holy aura gushing out of it's body, it looked really flashy and holy.

"I got a item, I will not disclose what it's function is, sorry about that" Leon say while grinning.

He rise his hand to show what he got, it's a dagger, a really ordinary dagger but it can be absorbed into his body so he will not lose it also once used by him this item will registered him as it's user so no other person can have it or use it, he absorb it right after.

"I get myself a new power, well my eyes did to be exact, now Spatial Awareness can be done, not only that, Extreme Observation, and Soul Peering can also be used, and most importanly it can be strengthened" Kazuki smiled, he throw a grateful look toward Leon, it seems something has happened down there.

"Before that, Leon I'm sorry, I'm narrow minded and short sighted, I should not deny what other's have say before hearing it out throughly" he is refering to the blessing being weakened.

"No, after all I said it's just my gut feeling, so don't worry" Leon just shake it off with a smile.

"Thank you" Kazuki say.

"Well let's stay focused remember we are still in a survival task, we don't know how much time we have spent on the trial so let's pursue effeciency" Leon say, Kazuki and Licht attentively listen to what he say.

"We will split up and gather the freshman in one place, there are 3 Oases, north, west and east. Remembering we have to survive until the sun came out we will focus on defending the east, what we have to do is simple, we have to persuade the freshman by giving them the information of Eternal Night to defend the east, as there's power in number, I'll go to the west, Kazuki go to the north and Licht go to the east, everyone understand ?" Leon ask.

"Of course" Kazuki nod, he also think this is the best course of action, the Walker absolutely hate the living, he first thought it maybe the right course of action to stay splitted up as to weaken the Walker power, but what if the Walker decided it would be better to destroy the oases one by one.

Licht is the trump card in this task, he have light aspected Attribute, and the light is absolute counter for those Undead Type Monster, it seems Licht knows this.

"Licht stay safe, let's go !"

This process took a little over 2 days, when hearing the information about the Eternal Night all the freshman have a look of understanding, and hearing about the plan of course someone would oppose of it, but when hearing of Licht with his Light Attribute that perfectly able to counter those Undead Monster, some people have already decided what is the best for them, and the other seeing those people, they are influenced and move with them.

He already learn that they spent as much as 4 days inside the Hidden Tower, and by spending 2 days in doing this, they have a little over 5 days until the Eternal Night start.

The oasis in the east is the biggest one so fortunately it could hold many people.

Licht and Kazuki already succed in persuading the other sides.

"We have succeed, now it's all just waiting" of course they all need to eat, gathering food for 120 people is not that easy, but with those same amount of people, it become easy.

The people realized it's much better and safer than before, they feel assured while killing monster for food, they can just shout or send a distress signal the freshman designed to help each other.

Leon already secured his own food, after all killing a few low level monster, like sand worms, or sand mouse is easy with his above average physical ability.

'so this is my Attribute' he thought, this Attribute is unheard off, of course he have created a similar Attribute to this one, Words of Creation, but it has ability limit and can only create items, while this one seems to hold no limit.

Words becoming real not only just limited to items becoming materialized, he can write a situation and he can make it real by expending or sacrificing something, he can also alter someone destiny by using his Attribute, it's a omnipotent Attribute that the limit is his own imagination, and of course his expense.

But unforfunately it seems he need paper as his medium, and he can't find those here, the feeling of regret of not bringing a book dawn on him.

'Well I didn't expect my Attribute to be this after all' it's okay he doesn't really care, as he have God's Wrath.

"The Hidden Tower is there as the center of this place, because it's being opened for the first time, the Devils magical power will react to it and come in greater intensity, and there's possibility if it's still remain like this, those Devils will be reincarnated, for ensuring this doesn't happen, destroying this area is something that has to be done" destroying area has wide scope, the land, the sky, the air, the magical power, the creatures, it can be anything, and he choose the magical power, however he have to experience the Devils magical power himself for him to be able to destroy it.

A few days passed. Now it will be only a few hours until the start of Eternal Night, Leon stand up from meditation and search for Licht and Kazuki.

He see Licht and Kazuki sitting with Yun Hara, the beautiful red haired girl, and James Horton, the handsome blond haired boy, and Rachel, the beautiful black haired girl. Each of them have considerable position in this world, Yun Hara as the heir of Fire Sparks guild, James as the son of the biggest Mercenary Guild, and Rachel as a royalty of England which dubbed as the most advanced country in matter of Magic Device, Kazuki as the heir of Information Guild, the Sky Words, and of course Licht as the protagonist of this story.

"Leon !, Come sit here"

"Leon ?" Rachel ask, she know Leon but didn't know his name.

"Yes, he is the one who proposed this plan"

"Ohh" the other lost interest of him, after all just thinking about this plan is easy, Kazuki and Licht seem to know this so they can only let out a wry smile.

"Don't worry too much" Kazuki whispered, he open a space beside him, and Leon sit there.

"How much time until Eternal Night ?, And how much freshman have the holy Attribute element ?" Leon asked, the other seems to grow serious upon the mention of Eternal Night.

"There are as much as 8 hours until Eternal Night, and for the second question, we have Licht, Rachel, Yun Hara, and a little over 20 other, the rest of them. 50 people has physical ability enhancement either if it's elemental or pure, 20 has magical ability, and the rest have support ability, ideally the physical Attribute user should go to the frontline while the rest support from the back, do you have other plan ?"

"Of course, if those physical Attribute user go to the frontline it's nothing more than suicide, those Walker will not die unless they are killed by Holy Attribute Weapon or Holy Attribute Power, this much you should know, I know normally it's not like that, but this and that are different" Leon give out his thought, Kazuki stiffen up hearing the word suicide, and continue to listen.

"What is your logic behind this ?" James is the one who said this, the physical Attribute user is including him, so he feel offended.

"You have to know our very own enemy is not the Walker, but the Eternal Night itself, the Devils magical power will enhance the ability of those Walker and even give them,a sliver of immortality, this immortality can only be destroyed by physical or magical attack capable of immortal killing, and holy Attribute power because this immortality originated from the dark creature, the Devil" the other become shocked, and when they hear him, it somehow makes sense, but there is still something that bugged them.

"Why ?, From what known about, the previous Eternal Night didn't have those kind of Walker" Yun Hara is the one who said this, she is currently frowning.

"And like I said, this is this and that is that" Leon say calmly. Yun Hara eye brow shot up.

"Now the plan, Licht you can control the aspect of light giving blessing to those people should be easy, this could alleviate the problem, could you do it ?"

"This .... It is possible" Licht understand his current capability the best, so he give his agreement. Leon know what is Licht capable off, giving blessing to 118 people should be easy for him.

"And that's that, the support Attribute user can focus on supporting the frontliner, sparing them the energy of destroying the Walker with their magic, this should be easy, I'm not the fighter type so I'll wait for the result on the back" he feel he have contributed enough by giving them information and the way to fight those Walker.

He then walk back to meditate, leaving the five of then to discuss.

"So that's Leon" James nod with a wry smile, his way of talking and tone seems pretty bad, but he is kind on the inside.

"He seems pretty annoyed though" Rachel smile wryly, and eyed Kazuki and Leon.

"I don't know the reason either" Kazuki smiled.

"Neither do I" Licht shook his head, and they resume their plan according to the information they receive.

Leon have more important matter to handle, destroying the enviroment the cost is not that easy to handle, regression of physical ability and magic abolith, the lost of 5 years of lifespan is not a small price to pay.

But still he know, he have to do this.
